This exercise video focuses on the muscles in your legs and shoulders. Shoulders are often overlooked – especially by women, but they are vital for day to day activities that require upper body strength, and they also give the frame of the body a nice shape.
When you move through the different exercise combos in this workout, remember to keep it moving. You can have a great fat burning home workout in 40 minutes, but you have to keep up the pace and the intensity to get maximum benefits.
From one fitness buff to another, I want to thank you for your dedication to making exercising interesting! I like that you incorporate exercises that are fun and effective but don’t involve being tied to a gym environment.
I have been training at home for years so I am always looking for new exercises/ routines. Something that I think you and your viewers would enjoy is seeing you perform some more advanced uni-lateral movements. (ie. pistols, bulgarian squats, one arm db presses on the ball, standing one- arm db overhead presses, one arm db rows while in the plank position, one-arm db clean and presses, single leg calf raises of a block or stair, Turkish get ups, etc.
These are all great exercises that are very challenging but rewarding too and can fend off the boredom of doing the same thing over and over again.
The great thing about uni-lateral lifting is that it requires you to balance the weight, thus using more muscle fibers. Many of them also require you to activate your core more because you are always trying to stabilize the weight. I like that you do a lot of compound exersises and persue a daily yoga practice. I do tia chi, qigong every other day as well as some yoga and strength train 3-4 times a week doing full-body workouts. I also ride, run, stairs or rope jump to keep my heart and mind healthy. :)

I’d never done one of these style of workouts before as I was a regular at my gym and had a set routine of lifts, cerrtainly not as compete as this. Like Zuzanna I was finding it too expensive and time consumimg so this looked interesting. It didn’t seem too hard and I was thinking Zuzana must have weak lungs given how out of breath she was after the sets… then I tried it! Thinking I was pretty strong but taking it easy I started at same weight as Zuzana; I had to drop to half the weight a part way through and I certainly wasn’t able to go without a rest! This is a real cardio set believe me. Now I see how you got that body. I like the mix and variety of exercises you have on your site and will be sticking with your advice. It’s good.
Zuzana I have a question.
First for some reason i can’t get to forum, is website under repair?
And the real question is, after I got home from cycling class I was super hungry, I made my self a salad, very light, just to kill hunger, but after I felt very nauseated.. I probably should not eat after heavy cardio???

I have recently come across your wourkout series and followed it ever since. I must say your tips and various excercise have helped to start shaping my body and I can actually see changes (I’m stronger, and my muscles harder :-) …. For about two weeks now I have done the 20min intensive workout every morning … oh my god, at the beginning I thought I would die … but I went through and now I love it :-) I like the variety of your series, I’m hardly bored with any of them :-) I don’t think I will ever look like you but I feel much better working out with your series than with anything else I have ever tried before, I enjoy excersicing more now and this is important for me :-)
