Butt and Abs Exercise Tips – Form and Exercise Variations.

I made this video especially to go with the second video in my Butt and Abs workout series. In this short video I show you some variations that can help make the exercises more challenging and I also talk a little bit about proper form.

Best,
Zuzana

    Zuzana,

I like that you are starting to give your viewers even more options/ variations.
I use a lot of circuit training too. You get so much more bang for your buck when performing compound exercises. Here is a full body circuit I like to do:

    Warm up 100 jumping jacks / v- ups 3 x 20

    1. One-arm d/b clean and press (heavy) x 5 each side

    2. Burpee to push up to T- push up (light) left side/ ride side x 10

    3. Step- ups (medium) x 10 each side

    * sometimes I replace T- push ups with renegade rows

This pretty much hits every major muscle…

The good thing about circuits is you can start with light weight and then increase the intensity by either adding weight, reps, sets or how fast you go from one exercise to another.

You do a lot of combinations, that I would not have thought about trying, but after giving them a shot I found very tough!

    Thanks Zuzana

    Hi Zuzana,
Great workout you’ve got going, I really like this video I’m starting to work on my abs again and I already feel them toning.
I would just like to know where questions can be submitted? Here or if the forum is somewhere else? My computer had been down for a little while and when I got it back up I went on here and the forum was gone!

    Thanks,
    Brianna

    Hi Zuzana,

I too was wondering where you wanted us to post our questions now that the forum is gone…

Also, what can we expect over the next few weeks from Body Rock TV. It would be cool to know how your husband is doing on his quest for a six pack as well as what you are planning to show us on upcoming episodes.

I for one would like if you continued to show your viewers some more advanced movements alongside exercises for people just starting out.

The best thing you are doing is showing that exersice needs to be about balance- working the entire body- not just spot training.

    Cheers,

    Lance

    Hi Zuzana,
I want to thank you for all that you do here on BodyRock. You are truly an inspiration to me. I consider myself ok in the fit area, however, I had a baby last year and having trouble getting back my abs. And also my upper back around my bra strap needs toning. Can you please help me. You look like these areas on you are perfect, so I am interested in what you do for these parts and how often you can work yor abs. Thank you so much,
    Tierra

    Hi Zuzana,

Thank you for inspiring so many people. I love your workouts and your presentation. One question I hope you can answer for me. I follow a clean diet and at times get bored with my snacks. I don’t believe in fat burners or supplementations other than a multivitamin. However, I want your opinion on protein shakes as a snack. People in the fitness arena tell me to have 1 or 2 per/day. I feel bloated when I have them and I think they make you gain weight. What is your take on this. If you agree that they are helpful in achieving more muscle, which ones do you recommend. Please advice.

    • Hi Tania, I have a protein shake that doesn’t have any artificial sweeteners or flavors; it contains only natural ingredients. The brand is called Life and I got it in a drug store. I only sprinkle it on my oatmeal in the morning just to give it some flavor. I don’t think it is necessary to take supplements if you have a balanced diet. If you want to gain weight, the protein shake will definitely help, but remember that if your protein intake is more than your body can use for repair and muscle growth, the rest of the protein will be stored as fat.

    Hi Zuzana….

I need help… I know you can answer this… How long to show the result?
I want to work on my abs… I weigh 164… Standing 4’11″… My thighs and legs are
    muscular…
What is the best way to work on your abs? And one thing… I need help with my arms..
What is the best workout for your arms? And when do you think results will show?

    Thank you…

  14. Hey Zuzana!!! I have been following your workouts religiously for the past 2 weeks! I feel like I stumbled upon gold! I have questions also, I do not know if there is a specific place to post them or not, if so, please let me know, if not I will just post them here… I am 23, 5’4″, 120 lbs….I am small and in a little better than average shape I would say. I was much bigger and lost the weight, now my problem areas are my triceps and the inner and outter sections of my thighs….I can NOT whip them into shape! They look fine, but as much as my boyfriend and I work out, its still noticable to me. Also, I lost my bum :(….I dont mind extra work or different food or whatnot, as long as I can get the firm round muscle I am missing. I ran track in high school and used to have the muscle there and now I cant seem to get it back! Please help!! Ill be checking this religiously for your response! Or any responses will be welcome! Also, I eat very healthy, not much meat, at all, but black coffee , sometimes almond milk also, water, Bananas and Myofusuion Protein shakes, salad, fruit, and pasta and some cheeses…any help!?! Thank you! Sincerely, Crystal B!

    Hi Brianna,

I hope that you are doing well. We had some technical problems with the forum and lost all of the posts and then we decided not to use it anymore. But you can still write me your questions through comments.
    Best,
    Zuzana.
