How to Plan your Training Cycle

1. If you break your workout week into upper body and lower body training, you will get more intensive training sessions.

2. It is important to vary exercises, sets, repetitions and weight in order to avoid plateau – that’s when you are not making any further progress, because your body has gotten used to the same routine.

3. To increase the level of your fitness you have to make your muscles work harder than they are used to.

4. Combining different training techniques and workouts and using a variety of set/rep numbers, varying the intensity level and frequency according to your own instincts will help you achieve greater progress.

You can use the different workouts and exercises on BodyRock.Tv as a guide – experiment with exercise variations, set numbers and reps. Be creative and put together a training cycle that works for you.
