Salad that doesn’t need a dressing

I made this salad the other day and turned out to be really good. I don’t have any fancy name for it, but it is true that this salad doesn’t need any dressing, because it is delicious already without it. These are the ingredients:

1 crunchy apple

1 handful of peanuts

1 handful of seedless grapes

1 lettuce

1 celery

and some spinach

Enjoy!

    Yummy!! Thanks.

    Zuzana,

here what I love to make

1 can of tuna (in water, no salt added)
    1 small cucumber
    1 tomato
    1 small green apple
    few stick of celery
and lemon juice all over it

    Yammmyyyy ;)

I will try that! :) Thanks for the recipe Galina.

Both of these sound wonderful. I do not like dressings, never have, but I do love lemon juice or a vinegar on my salads.

  • rubyspirit

Oh goody, I’ll try it. :)

  • Natram

i made this too Zuzana, instead of peanuts i substituted with almonds!

    Hi Zuzana and Frederick,

Nice Salad. It looks great. Did you eat it with your meal?

Don’t you use any oil or lemon or both and if not why not?

My salad every day with my lunch is

    Lettuce (green)
    cabbage (purple)
    1/2 Cucumber (green)
    1 Carrot (orange)
    2-3 Small tomatoes (red)
    1 table spoon olive oil
    1/2 lemon (yellow)
    1 tea spoon sesame

I think tomorrow i will try yours or Galina’s salad. I’ve never tried apple in a salad. It should be interesting

    Take care,
