Full Body Core workout 8: Legs and calves

The first exercise is the half squat and it is one of those balancing exercises that you have to get used to. The first time I tried this exercise, I didn’t like it and I was loosing my balance a lot, but I didn’t give up on it and now I really like to incorporate it in my workouts. It is a challenge to get down as much as you can without having the knee of the standing leg over the toe.The second exercise is also good for developing balance and working the core muscles. What I found kind of frustrating was that the step was sliding away from me every time put my feet on it, so it’s a good idea to push the step against a wall.

This is the final part of the full body core workout and I hope that you will enjoy it.

    Hey! Thanks for the great videos! I notice that you do a lot of leg excercizes but the strongest part of your body is your abs and arms! How come? I would like it if you do a video of you hardest abs excerzise to chalange us!Thanks Again!

    HI E.E., these exercises are not the ideal for the Tabata training in my opinion. What works the best for Tabata are more combined moves like jump squats or burpees. Anything that will really increase your heart rate. What I also find incredible and brutal to use for this training is skipping rope.

    First I would like to congratulate you on a great website. Understandle, good exercises for al levels.
    I have 2 questions:
    I can more or less squat my own bodyweight but even a one leg half-squat appears to be impossible. Can you maybe give me some pointers on where I might go wrong? Checked out the video a few times to make sure I use the right technique but still I am stuck with this exercise.
    Second is not really a question but I am surprised to see that you don’t have a sponsor. Try to get in touch with the marketing department of your local Adidas/Nike/Puma/Under Armour/Reebok office to generate their interest. Maybe sign up with a sport management company. You´d be a great role model: You’re the living proof of your own exercise programmes, you seem to have a natural presence in front of the camera and I will not be the first to tell you that you that you look stuuning. Give it a go, might be a platform to move on from.

    Keep up the good work and hopefully you can help me with my one leg squat.

    caould you point me in the right direction on how to loose the fat from women chest area? i have been trying to do lots of cardio and my legs have toned a lot but not my chest and my sides…what can i do?
