Ken I did notice that in the background of his room. I laughed too. I think that three things came to mind. One he challenged her because she is fit, second that she is as attractive and exotic as kournikova, and third because of her youtube subscribe count. I believe that he has the advantage in this event because he is a guy (born upper body strength) but I think that she will prevail. I would like to see an events program rather then just one exercise, choosing multiple events that favor each sexes strengths. She has iron will and I am betting on that. I mean after all he a a jumprope growing up and she had two chairs and a long string (in one of her youtube videos. Plus she has charlie and james. That makes her rough, rough. LOL So no matter how long it takes she will dog him down. LOL I love dogs. Good luck Zuzana.

I think it’s awesome that you are going to compete with this guy. I didn’t realize that that style of pull-up had a name. I have been doing them for a few years and really love the stretch that you get with them.

Your cat makes a cameo I see. Good luck! Try the ladder method of increasing your pullup reps. Pavel Tsatsouline recommends it (so glad you referenced him in an earlier vid).

I would like to suggest a slight variation of technique in the Commando Pullup. Arch your back and touch your chest to the bar instead of simply clearing your chin over the bar. This simple variation activates more muscle groups in your upper back and even helps to develop the intercostal fibers between the ribs. Basically, you aim to meet the base of your breast-bone with the bar; the feel of the movement is similar with the “curve” of a Hindu pushup.
As far as the challenge goes: Good luck! Both of you will win Big Time! And so will anyone else who enters.

I think the real challenge would be againts another “fitness girl”.

Zuzana is obviously great but I think it’s very difficult for a woman to compete with a man (if he’s in good shape) when it comes down to upper body strength.

I think an averange strong/fit woman could compete with an averange strong/fit man only in abs exercises.

So the real deal would be if a GIRL stood up for the challenge. That would be veeeeery interesting :D

I want to be clear: I think Zuzana can do better than 90% of men out there… I’m just saying that given the same physical shape (more or less) and training, men are naturally stronger in many areas.

And I think that challenge another girl in great shape would be a real motivation for Zuzana :D

Challenge him to Single Leg Squats. See what his lower body can do.

The guy is a parkour practitioner, so even though his looks are not as sharp and defined as Zuzana’s, he’s certainly in very good shape. In his video he says to Zuzana “I’m not as in good shape as you” but I think it’s a lie… he knows he’s in very good shape.

Anyways, I’d like to know what Zuzana thinks about the fitness girl challenge :D I think she should challenge every girl out there ;)

I think you can beat him Zusana, i’m sure you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

In fairness, he did kick your ass, cranking out twice what you did. The difference is gender and I doubt you’ll catch him. But why not challenge him to beat you in some of your other exercises. Not really fair if he gets to pick and chose!
