How can I get rid of cellulite?

Cellulite is basically stored fat that is trapped underneath a layer of skin. Most people and especially women have areas of skin with less density which results in the appearance of the orange peel like effect. Deep massaging every night can help to decrease the appearance of dimpling, but only temporarily, because it will not make changes in your skin density and it won’t make the fat go away. To get rid of cellulite permanently you have to decrease your body fat percentage and build some lean muscles, which requires consistent and comprehensive exercise coupled with rational diet.     Even when not having Cellulite, it’s good to get rid of the body fat. Body fat stores all kind of bad stuff what can result in illness

    Hi Zuzana,

    Cellulite is my worst nightmare and a huge problem. I have never been fat, I am 170 cm and 55 kg, I have always been active, and I started to lift weights 3 months ago but cellulite on my butt is still there…a bit less maybe but still there, it is really frustrating because everything else looks ok. I am eating clean, working out daily and have tried every possible cream and treatments….I hope weights will help, at the moment I think my thighs and butt look even bigger because of the muscles that are starting to show but you are keeping me motivated so thank you for that….

    HI Luci, if your thighs and butt is bigger since you have started lifting weights, than you must have been also eating more. Try to pay more attention to your diet. Make sure that you eat small portions and that you drink enough water. Your muscles won’t grow big if you won’t feed them with a lot of calories.

    Hi Zuzana,
    thank you for a really fast reply!!!
    I did not change my diet, this is what I am having usually:
    coffee (no milk or sugar), 30 grams of oatmeal with yogurt for breakfast,
    a piece of fruit or an orange juice for snack,
    steamed vegetables, 80 grams of fish or chicken, fresh vegetables for salat, coffee
    a piece of fruit for snack, coffee
    jorurt with flax seeds for dinner….
    my portions are small, I am allergic to eggs, milk, wheat so I cant have any of the good stuff even if I want to…..

    Is this to much maybe, what would you change?

    Hi Luci,
    your diet seems to be very healthy. If you couple it with regular exercise, you should be soon very very happy about your physique.

    this answer comes from Germany: Go get a bottle of Organic Apple Vinegar (not sterilised) has to be natural. make yourself following drink :
    One liter pure water about a spoon or two of the vinegar sweeten it with Stevia or best Xylitol or Honey so that its sweet sour -pleasant to taste take less vinegar if too sour, then drink this first thing in the morning a glass of it take the rest with you where ever you go, the best thing woud be to drink this instead of anything else, all over the day ( this is the best metabolic booster you can get I am a Health/Nutri. coach)
    Then start making speciall scrubs for your cellullite: take agin the same Organic Apple Vinegar
    mix it with some water and natural sea salt and gently rubb the parts of your body where you have cellullite dont make it too concentrated you can make a test if its before you put it on your body taste it if it tastes almost eat-able then its good.
    after this masssage rinse it off do this every two to three days.
    but every day you should make water- Apple-vinegar solution a slight one (not too sour.
    and rubb it into your skin and lave it there to dry.
    do this at least for six months it works wonder!

    hello zuzana , well, iam about 59 k.g weight and 169 c.m tall , i have cellulite in butt and thighs but i dont think i need to make a diet to get rid of it …should excercises alone along with drinking enough water would do ? and what is the best workout routine to follow ?

    HI Emy,
    you can follow any workout routine you want. Everyone is different so I am not able to tell if you if exercise alone will make a difference. You will have to try it and keep some journal where you will make notes about your progress.

  • Suddenly developed cellulite at the back of my things and very low part of my gluts

    Hi Zuzana, I’m so glad that I found your utube Body Rock workout that I saved in my fav bookmarks.

    I am recognize to have beautiful legs, thighs and butt. But when I turned 47 this month of July, I noticed the layered cellulites at the back of my thihs and lower part of my gluts. I admit that I ate so much sugar in the past such as lemon bars and pastries other than my regular fruits. I completely switched to solid fruits, raw veggies, nuts and only put a little spoon portion of honey in my coffee (as it’s bitter) for 2 – 3 times a day. I am active at the gym such as cardio kickboxing. Still, after 3 2 weeks of changing my diet and working on my thighs, legs and gluts, I still could see the cellulites. I am used to wearing shorts and mini skirts and this time around, I can’t do it anymore.

    I hope that you know the solution about my rare problem. Thanks Zuzana. Highly appreciated.

    Dear Zuzana, I am a 21 year old female looking to improve my fitness and tone my body! I came across your bodyrock website today and must admit it has given me the kick i truly needed! about 2 years ago i weighed 62kg with a height of 5ft 3inch simply because of poor diet and no excercise. I started changing my eating habits and introduced regular exercise into my life, but like most females avoided weights due to the myths and stereotype that have been addressed in the article on the bodyrock website! I have mainted a weight of 51kgs for the past 9months but have hardly any tone! ive always wanted a lean, toned body and you have inspired me to take the appropriate steps, with your help and my own hard work im sure i’ll get there ;)
    Having looked through your articles and videos I have learnt that i can work on all my problem areas- except 1! My CHEST! Can you please give me some advice on toning and lifting the chest as with the weight loss i lost all tone and they began sagging! Please help!

    Hey Zuzana!
    A lot of websites talk about cellulite but no one talks about stretch marks! I think EVERYONE has them but no idea how to get rid of them. Because of stretch marks, i am embarrassed to wear a swimsuit or even wear shorts!
    Is it possible to do an article on stretch marks and why people get them and how to reduce them!

    Hey Zuzana!

    I am a farely big girl and new to your site, which is incredibly inspireing by the way! I want to get myself in a workout routine because I have alot to lose. But sadly I have big, red stretch marks that cover alot of my body and I don’t know if they will always be there even when I do lose the weight.

    I don’t know if you were asked this already but, if excersise and eating healthy can help reduce cellulite, than can it also healp with stretch marks? Everytime I look in the mirror I want to cry because I feel hidious and feel like I will never have smooth skin again…
