Full Body Blast Workout 3/5
The first exercise in this combo are push ups with one hand on the medicine ball. Placing one hand on the ball will help you to increase your balance, range of motion and rolling the medicine ball from hand to hand will force your abs and core to work harder. Get into push up position and place one hand on the medicine ball and the other hand on the floor. Keep your body rigid in a straight line and lower yourself towards the ground in slow controlled movement tensing all of your muscles. For more challenge you can pause at the bottom before you push back up. As soon as you push up, roll the ball towards the other hand and do the same thing on the other side. Alternate the sides for the total of 10 reps.
The second exercise are backward lunges with medicine ball overhead press. Hold the medicine ball in front of you with both of your hands, than lunge back and press the medicine ball up above your head at the same time. Alternate the legs and do 20 reps total. Than move on directly to the next part of this workout.
