The Biggest Diet & Exercise Secret in the Entire Known World Is Revealed.

So we have gone ahead and discovered the greatest diet and exercise secret in history. Ever. Seriously. And it’s yours, free, in this article.

Try this out: pick up any book on the wisdom of philosophers or the meaning of life (there are plenty), and nine times out of ten it will contain a section where philosophers, both ancient and modern, will give an honest answer to the question “what is the greatest possible thing you have learned?”

The potential answer to that question could be nothing less than the meaning of life itself. And with such big questions in mind, I have an announcement to make: we’ve discovered the greatest diet and exercise secret in history. Ever. Better than any magic ingredient, any amazing supplement, any super-exclusive diet secret you have ever seen online or on TV.

We could talk about the statistics behind this discovery, stuff about scientific teams and hunts through the tropical underbrush for a special berry never before seen by humankind, and a breakthrough training technique handed down from the ancients and recently discovered, Indiana-Jones-style, inside a crumbling Mayan temple. Sure, we might be exaggerating slightly, but believe us — this is a big secret.

AND WE’RE GIVING IT AWAY.

And we’ve decided to give it away, for free, right here in this article.

Yep, just keep reading, because just below, in bold text, the secret is spelled out for you — the one, essential, for-all-time, perfect diet & exercise secret that you absolutely have to know.

And what is it, exactly?

Well, the secret is… there are no secrets.

WHAT?

Yeah, that’s it. Just like the philosopher’s answer to the meaning of life is “all I know is how much I still don’t know,” our big, exclusive secret is that there are no secrets.

Getting in great shape comes down to exactly one thing: not secrets, but fundamentals. We already know what the fundamentals are (hard work through basic exercises, and eating well), but the amazing thing is that if you look hard enough, every miracle-selling TV infomercial knows and admits the exact same thing.

The next time you see an ad for a pulsing machine that works your muscles without you moving, or an unnecessarily complicated ab-workout device, take close notice of the disclaimer at the bottom of the screen. If you can read it (they don’t make it easy), you’ll notice absolutely none of these claims can be backed up by the device/pill/supplement/magic bean alone — every single one depends on ‘regular exercise and a healthy diet’, too.

WHY IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT INFOMERCIALS.

While fitness infomercials tend to be the extreme example, this same phenomena is repeated, ad nauseum, nearly everywhere: just look at the low-carb craze of 2003. The Atkins diet had been around for years, but in that fateful year, someone at the New York Times did an article on the one study that showed a low-carb approach just might actually work.

A new craze was born, and the entire diet industry mobilized overnight to accommodate it — suddenly you couldn’t blink without seeing a low-carb option on every menu (at least in most fast food restaurants, which is never a good sign). The diet industry just waits for these kind of moments, because they represent an absolutely wonderful new way to sell product.

While TV ads and fad-diet books play a big part in this kind of hysteria, it can actually start anywhere, including in the pages of a prestigious newspaper. And there’s a very simple reason for it: all of these programs promise, in one way or another, to make getting in shape and losing weight very easy

Want to shed pounds? Stop eating bread, start eating protein!

Want to get those 6-pack abs? Strap this device to your legs and do 10 minutes of crunches!

None of these approaches work. First, because they aren’t sustainable, and second, because you always need the fundamentals. Hard work through basic exercises and eating well. That’s it. That is all there has ever been, because people who get and stay in shape don’t stick to fad diets or miracle berries, and unless science makes a gigantic, crazy breakthrough, that’s all there ever will be.

WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT SCIENTIFIC BREAKTHROUGHS, ANYWAY?

Actually, ‘scientific breakthroughs’ are important to consider here: a lot of fanfare greets new research that shows this or that factor might aid or inhibit weight loss, and lots of articles get written as a result. Eventually, lots of new books or products come out that are designed to capitalize on this new trend, hoping people have heard about it recently and are ready to spend.

This all happens because diets, exercise devices, and health are markets. The diet, fitness, and food industries are massive, and anyone trying to make money within them is going to highlight research that reflects favourably upon their food, or book, or pill (or dismiss research that doesn’t). But you have every reason to be skeptical of these reports, or the stories about them. By all means, read them, but don’t let them change your fundamentals.

No one is releasing reports suggesting that eating tomatoes is good for us, or that fruits, vegetables, water and simple, whole ingredients are the proper way to good health, because everyone (apparently) already knows this. It’s also very hard to ‘sell’ that concept, while it’s conversely much easier to sell, say, a magic weight-loss milkshake.

THE PARADOX: WE KNOW TOO MUCH.

There’s a paradox in North American society, which is that as a group, we know more about nutrition science and food information than practically anyone else on the globe. And yet we have serious deficiencies in our overall diet, and a large obesity problem.

The answer to this is absolutely dead simple: stop paying so much attention to those numbers, labels, supplements, and pseudo-science designed to sell you the latest miracle, and get back to the fundamentals. There are many ways to do so, and they are all extremely simple

Remember: not easy, not without hard work, but simple.

TIME TO MAKE YOUR SELECTION.

We here at BodyRock.Tv want you to consider two options:

1) Spend one hour preparing and eating wholesome, real food, and doing hard, good exercise. You know these two things will bring you results — and they’ll do it faster, better, and more consistently than any miracle product you could ever buy.

Or,

2) Spend 4 hours learning about the latest version of the 30/40/30 system and how omega-3 fats work on your cells, and reading 300 pages on the latest miracle extract that has just been proven to do amazing things for your body.

We wholeheartedly suggest you stick with the former option. All the workouts on our site are always geared to it, and it’s pretty much impossible not to see results if you follow it.

THERE IS NO NEED TO BE CONFUSED, EVER.

Simply put: confusing yourself with the latest complicated science is not only unnecessary, but becoming confused is the actual point (in marketing terms).

If you feel like you don’t understand what you should be eating or how you should be exercising, you’re more likely to turn to a miracle-type solution. And that’s the magic of manufactured confusion.

Don’t fall for it. Leave your brain free to do other, more useful things, and without fail you will achieve better results for your body. There is absolutely nothing better — in exercise, diet, and health — than the power of simplicity.

Best,

Frederick

Everyone would like to be fit and fine. So exercise is the best option. But there is no need to spend hours and hours for exercise or no need to despair, fitness trainers and sports professionals. Even twenty minutes or ten minutes per day will result in benefits ranging from weight loss, to firming, de-stressing and giving a sense of well-being.

  20. Hello Frederick and Zusanne great article, and video exercises and Zusanne i think you look great ….

  21. You need a balance of protein, fat, and carbs. Of course too many carbs can cause weight gain, but the same applies for fat and protein. Anything more than what your bodies needs will be stored. 40%-50% of my diet is usually carbs and I weigh 118 pounds. I have lost 10 pounds because I eat right and I exercise daily. So I’m not sure why people say carbs make you fat. As long as carbs don’t make up your whole diet, and you are eating healthy carbs you won’t gain weight. Plain and simple.

  22. Nicole says:

So true! I thought the Atkins diet was so silly! I worked at Sonic during that time- it is a drive-in fast food restaurant if you have never been to one. I remember one woman who ordered an extra-long chili cheese hot dog, with NO BUN! And she said she was losing weight that way, eating whatever she wanted except bread. My boyfriend’s mother was on this crazy cabbage soup diet for a while, eating only the soup and bananas! People will fall for ANYTHING, and it is sad that our society doesn’t understand the basics of good old nutrition.

  23. Jordan says:

The problem is, we are addicted to getting the information but don’t want to put the effort in to achieve results.

I might give this a try
