Going Out for Dinner

[imagebrowser id=4]Keeping fit and healthy is not just something you do for an hour here or there – it’s a way of life, and it impacts and touches on almost every other part of our existence in one way or another, so we wanted to create a new category here on the site called “life” where we can share things other than workouts. We are not entirely sure where this is going to go, but like the rest of the site we just want to have fun with it.

We had a plan today to go swimming in lake Ontario. Frederick has been swimming on his own almost everyday this week (we have been having really hot weather here) but this was suppose to be my first time in. The city of Kingston is right on the water, so it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the lake shore from our apartment. When we got there we realized that it was quite windy and cool so we chickened out and just went for a long walk instead.

We ended up in our favorite downtown cafe for a coffee and chat.

Later that night we were invited to have dinner with Frederick’s family at this really nice, casual little restaurant downtown called Copper Penny. If you ever find yourself in Kingston Ontario you should give it a try. I ordered another coffee (it’s my addiction) and a Perrier water. I had the waiter swap out the creme for 2% milk and started looking through the menu for something light and healthy (this can sometimes be a challenge when you go out to eat). I ordered a wrap and salad – the wrap was made from turkey, apples, walnuts, carrots and cheddar cheese. I ate half of the portion and asked to have the rest boxed up for later.

If anyone has any good restaurant eating survival tips please leave a comment :)

Best,

Zuzana

Hey Zunana! Great idea about the Life section :o)

My tip for eating out – I think when people go out for a meal they make the mistake of not eating for ages before because they want to really enjoy the food and get their money’s worth i suppose. But I try to eat something really small about an hour before I’m due to order food at the restaurant, just so I don’t go overboard and stuff my face with food i don’t really want !

Its very true that being fit and healthy is a lifestyle, not something you do in your spare time. I’m about to turn 18 next month and my diet and weight fluctuates. My highest weight was at 13 and I was 145 pounds. That summer I ate healthy and exercised every morning and got down to 120 pounds in 3 months! When I was 14 my diet wasn’t as healthy because school was stressful and I ate for comfort. I can’t stay consistant! I’ll be 130 pounds one year and then 120 the next. I’m 5’4 so that makes a big difference on my frame.

However, when I set my mind to it, I’m very good at going out to dinner and having 2 appetizers instead of one entree(that’s my tip!). That way, I get small portions of different foods, I’m fully satisfied and don’t go over my calorie limit! For dessert, I’ll sometimes cheat and have something like cheese cake, but sometimes I’ll just get a plate of fruit that is AS SWEET AS CANDY!(That’s my second tip)

  • natalia

I usually share whatever I’m eating with someone else. Restaurant portions are always too big. It’s cheaper to share and I feel great afterwards.

  • Dj

I have a tip on eating out with a friend. If you and your friend pick the same thing off the menu, and both would agree to split the dish, and the cost.

  • Alesya

Thank you so much for this part =) i WAS HOPING THAt IS GOING TO BE SOMETHING LIKE THAT =)
because you have become a very good inspiration for, I am sure, many people and we want to see you in regular life =)

  • Chanin

Thanks for sharing your day/evening with us! I think it’s smart to get a ‘to-go’ box right away so that you can plan ahead of time to take 1/2 of your meal home. Then you won’t be tempted to keep eating just because it’s sitting there in front of you. Keep up the great work! You are an inspiration to us girls :)

    Hi Zuzana,

it looks like you had a lot of fun and you really look amazing in real life!!!
I love this new topic, I think it can be hard sometimes to keep the healthy life style and have a normal social life, mostly because most of my friends and family drink and eat whatever they want and working out is a punishment or sth.
July is a season of birthdays and anniversaries in my house so I came up with a very light cheese cake, and it is low in calories, light and a perfect clean eating desert so I would like to share this receipe because everyone liked it and it is very popular in my house now.

500 gr of low fat cottage or cream cheese
    2 whipped egg whites
200 ml of whipped cream (I used a soya low fat kind with vanila flavour)
100 gr of cane sugar ( I used a very dark one that melts and gives it a nice colour and caramel taste)
lemon, orange or lime juice, just a litlle for smell
200 ml of low fat vanilla joghurt
    2 bags of powder gelatine
    pineapple or some other fruit

So, it is easy, you mix it all together, take a bowl or a pan that you use to bake cakes and on the bottom you put the fruit, I usually put pineaplles in circles because it looks good, that around it I put lady fingers (it is a brand of biscuits, I use whole grain kind) and build like a litlle fence around, then I put the mixture of cheese and everything else and just leave it in the fridge for 4 hours untill it stiffens. then you take a plate and you turn the cake upside down, it drops on the plate perfect with pineapple circles on top…I hope you will try and enjoy this light desert!!

    All the best
    Luci

    Hi Luci,
thank you for this recipe, it sounds delicious. I will try that :)

What a great idea! Eating out is my downfall. Being from Seattle, the birthplace of Starbucks, I have a coffee addiction as well and it’s difficult to get out of a Starbucks without a muffin or some sort of pastry, and the calories in their treats are big. I finally was able to kick my (400 calorie) mocha habit and (400 calorie) bagel habit. Now I just order drip coffee and add milk and walk away…no pastries. Some might laugh, but it took me a year to make this transition! I felt like a crack addict. Like I said, Seattle loves its coffee and pastries. It makes sense to me now why I was gaining weight…I was eating almost an entire days worth of calories for breakfast, and then eating lunch, dinner, and maybe an after dinner drink. Yikes! I am looking forward to seeing other people’s posts about eating out advice!

I am going to start getting cut on Monday the 24th of August and I am still not quite sure how besides dragging tires on a dirt track. That is the only way I have ever been able to get a six pack. I did a lot of other working out too. This was when I was 19. It has always been very hard for me to get cut. I am hispanic and do not seem to have cut genes. Can I still get ripped again? I know I can but what can I do to get there again? RRR, I’m not a pirate just frustrated because I get in shape and fall out so much. This can’t be healthy. I am 190 and don’t really want to lose weight but I am afraid I might. I want to have muscle too. What do I do Zuzanna?

    Phillip Moyte

PS – You are purely the most exquisite woman I have seen in fitness and perhaps life. :D

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

    HI Phillipe Moyte,

you have to start to lift really heavy. 3 to 5 reps of almost max effort. I can recommend you a great book from Pavel Tsatsouline – Power to the people. With his method you can get ripped and if you loose weight or not depends on how much you eat.

  • Cindy Deans

What,no picture of Frederick!?! I’M beginning to think he’s just a make-believe-friend. LOL.

  • Andy

    Hi Zuzana,
I was wondering if there is Facebook page for bodyrock.tv. I think a Facebook fan page would be a great way to broadcast the life portion of Bodyrock because not only would I follow it, but my friends could see what is going on as well and maybe spark their interests in adopting our lifestyles.

hi zuzanna!.. remember a while back you told me that you love indian food? well i hav loads n loads of great recepies n i’d like to share them with you.
is there any specific food you like? ( rice, chicken, seafood, soups, salads, snacks starters? lol) let me know :)

  • Jon

The To-Go box is the saving grace for any restaurant.
For me it means two meals (sometimes more) for the price of one!

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

    Hi Sophie,

any new recipe would be great. I would be happy if you could share indian recipes with me :)

  • http://bodyrock.tv Tania

    Hey Zuzana,

Love this new section “Life”. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us. Will the same rule apply to reducing fat on thighs as the one you recommended for Phillipe. Taken into consideration that you are eating a clean diet. I have been following all of your routines and I see a remarkable difference in my upper body but the thighs won’t budge.

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

Hi Tania, your thighs will be the last part of your body where you will see a difference. If you remain consistent, you will get there.

  • TEXAS CINDY

Sometimes I do this when we eat at places that do not have salads;I order a hamburger an remove the onions, tomatos, pickles and lettuce onto my plate and give my carnivor husband the meat and buns. Sounds silly, but you’d be surprised that down here in S. Texas not many places serve salads without some kind of chicken, or beef thrown in. I don’t eat meat. I actually had a difficult time explaining that I want a salad with the works minus the chicken. The waitress will say something stupid like-”Well, we can’t do that.” So I say, “Just make the salad but DO NOT PUT IN THE CHICKEN. Put the chicken on the side. Could you do that?” She’ll answer,”I think we can do that. I’ll have to get the o.k. from the manager.” And on the rare occasions that some places won’t do that for me, I just drink water with lemon wedges. My husband has learned to choose buffet restaurants that offer everything that satiates a vegetarian.

  • Sunny

I find eating out more easily because I tend to do it in the company of my friends or family or lover. When I eat with these people, I talk much more than if I would by myself…this ends up being a good strategy for me because I love food so much-my bad habit is eating just for the pleasure (even when I am completely full) but when I am with other people, I eat more slowly and can usually tell when I am really full…

Another tip for eating out is to try an “ethnic” restaurant (as they are labeled in the U.S.)…I enjoy quality Ethiopian food which the city I live near happens to have a lot of…Ethiopian offers a variety of different vegetables and spices (such as Eat Clean’s recommended Tumeric spice) and a type of almost pancake that is composed of complex carbohydrates…the best part is that it is typically fairly cheap! I also enjoy Mediterranean food which is typically fairly lean and offers salads other than just iceberg lettuce (the for some-odd-reason) American favorite. Basically, It’s the variety that makes these foods worth while…just like the body gets used to the same exercises…so the body can get used to the same food-It’s good to branch out! :)

  • Kara

Zuzana – this is an awesome post, I love seeing photos of you like this. Your an amazing fresh – fit – beautiful women! You’ll live for years!

    Zuzana,
I have just started doing your exercises with you online. You are a great inspiration.
We are the same body type, except you are more muscular. I know with determination and consistancy I will reach my goals to be muscular without looking too bulky.
My question is, what are your thoughts on fasting?
I have been thinking about doing a “cleanse” for the body, is it safe? Now that I’m starting to build my muscle tone back, I don’t want to lose it over a fast. Have you ever done that or what do you recommend? Also what exercises should you do while fasting? Yoga???

    hi, Zuzana

I have been working out everyday resting on Sundays. At the end of June i was 219.4lbs now i am at 206 lbs. I run and skip rope.I also eat more fruits and vegetables and have cut out a lot of junk foods. But now i am finding it harder to lose the next six pounds. I haven’t implemented weight training in yet. I was wondering if i were to start using weights like dumb bells would i see results in more weight loss?

  • http://www.jimkryzak.com jim

Whenever we go out to eat we split the selection which will always be fish , most likely salmon with veggies. Skip the bread they bring. I also order a side of asparagus when they have some. My favorite.

    Good luck and live healthy

    Hi Zuzana,

I always found it hard to go or have a barbecue party, and in the summer you can not avoid it. So this year I prepaired a selection of meat like usual and for myself I cut chicken in very small pieces, and vegetables like zuchini, eggplant, tomato and paprika and put it on woden sticks, I don’t know how you call it. Other guests liked it too, and finnally nobody made a comment about my food, I just had one of those sticks, a really small portion and I made your green beans with garlic wich everyone loved and they made burgers with it. I made a fruit salad with some nuts on it, and I managed to eat clean and have a good time with everyone else.
    All the best

Hi Zuzana,I am so grateful that you put this new section in. Going out with friends and your significant others is a part of life and for me it is always a challenge to choose healthy food at a restaurant,. I know I will learn a lot of great new tips from you and others. It is a big part of life and being fit, so I am very happy and exited about it, thank you, it is a great addition to other parts of your website.

Ah yes this is an interesting topic, staying in shape IS a lifestyle and I have had to disappoint a few friends in the past few months since I gave up drinking. However, they are good friends and after a bit of nagging and harassing me they eventually caved and began to see things my way. Now I’m just hoping that my new lifestyle can inspire them as well : )
Great pics Zuzana looking as beautiful as ever : )

  • kevin petersen

    Hi Zuzana

As always this site is amazing, I am a Personal trainer in the UK and work with groups of Obese adults to help them get healthy ie lose weight and exercise. Its low intensity and not diet just a better awareness of what not to eat. My first group of 9 people lost 27kg in 10 weeks. One of my tips when out eating is always wait 20 minutes before ordering dessert as this is the time it takes for the brain to register you are full up.

Keep making this info available you are making a big impact on the population, I agree we need to get on Facebook I am and people ask me advice all the time.

    kevin

  • Anonymıous

    Stop being awesome :D

  • Andy

Eating out can be a big problem. Here in the UK I have to remember to ask to have NO butter as if I don’t often things like new potatoes will come covered in the stuff.

One example was just this weekend, we visited Bath and went to Sally Lunns (meant to be the oldest house in the city). We order the home made Tomato soup, we checked there was no cream in it so we figured all fairly safe. We knew it came with a quarter of a Sally Lunn bun (like a type of bread) what we didn’t know (and thus didn’t think to ask) was that it was covered in butter! My wife sent hers back but I had nipped to the loo and was starving so just ate up. BAD Andy eh?

For a tip though here in the UK the chain of pub type restaurants called Harvesters now put the calories next to everything on the menu, and have and eat all you can Salad bar (which is free when ordering a main course). It helps to know how many calories are in things as looking through their menu some of the things I would have thought would be really bad are actually ok and Vice-versa.

Keep up the great work this is my favourite health and fitness website.

  • gorillaguy

I usually eat sushi (raw fish), or vietnamese food (fresh vegetables) as they tend to have raw ingredients that are not only healthy but that you would want to eat, rather than eating let’s say a bland salad.

  • ironete

I don’t know if someone has already said this , a good tip would be to ask for a to go box when you order. Have them bring it with your meal & cut it in half right away so that way it will be out of sight out of mind. I do that & I am much less likely to munch when I am full. Good luck you guys on your weightloss adventure!!!!

  • Stephy

    Hey Zuzana!
I wasn’t sure where to post this, but I wanted to share with you that I have lost 10 lbs and 3 inches from my waist in the past 4 weeks following your videos and eating about 6 small, clean meals a day. I feel empowered. I did the “RockYourBody” workout yesterday and it kicked my butt! Thank you for all your inspiration. :o)

    Hi Stephy,
Thank you for sharing your progress with me and everyone here! :)

  • kat

I think if you are not eating out all the time then treat yourself on the menu. However, if you eat out at least once a week at a non health restaurant then i would try recommending to your friends/family a healthy restaurant like a nice vegan restaurant (in toronto there is Fressen on Queen street), in New York City there are a few including Candle Cafe on the upper east side. Otherwise i try to look for the vegetarian dishes on a menu, or something grilled, grilled fish, grilled calamari with lemon and salad… I went out for dinner last night and the first thing i did was cut that plate in half which i took home in a doggy bag. Also with the meal consider skipping the wine, or stopping after a glass. Definitely skip the beer.

  • Dominic

    Good old Kingston…
I work a territory that includes Kingston frequently. I almost never “go out” for a meal. I eat on the road often, but not by choice – only when I have no time or energy to pack a lunch. One place I really like to stop at is Naish’s Store in Sunbury. They always have freshly made sandwiches in many types of fillings and bread. If I have time to spare I will buy a lunch there and drive to the locks on Washburn road just off Hwy # 15 and have a little picnic by myself watching the boats… If I really have time and I’m nowhere near Sunbury, I’ll stop at the Husky on Joyceville Rd and eat a very unhealthy lunch…. Or there’s a chip truck in Hartington….

I think if one consistently eats a healthy diet day in and day out, there is the freedom to every so often indulge in moderation. I always try to keep portions small, even when eating on the run – order a small of everything. Choose items that tend to the “lighter” side. I eat out a total of 25-30 times per year, of which 2-3 are sit down meals where you order from a menu. I live in the country on a farm, so this precludes a lot of spontaneous eating out… also provides a convenient way to burn off a few thousand extra calories each day…. :)

    Hi Zuzana
Thanks for your inspiration and congratulations on organizing an amazing web-site. You have rounded out all the aspects – between new – challenging worksouts, about food and diet, and about real life!! I feel like you’re a friend with the know!! How amazing to receive your mail and to continue to educate myself in fitness and well-being. I use so many of your ideas and workouts during the power hour yoga class I give, thanks for compiling so many greats ideas into one web-site. Your hard work and effort is very appreciated ( I live in Meixco and don’t have first hand availability to really good intelligent – well planned workouts – ) You have been a great addition to my ongoing research and education.
Ever think of going off your set and doing body fitness workshops in other countries?? You definitely have what it takes. Just an idea :)
    Best regards –

I don’t know if this has been mentioned, but I find that I’m better able to eat light when eating out if I ask for the box BEFORE I start eating, rather than after. That way there’s simply less food to eat and I don’t have the same urge to keep eating.

    Zuzana,

I just wanted to say thank you. You web site and work outs are awesome. I’ve been bragging about you to anyone who will listen. I was training for an Iron Man Triatholon when they found this weird cyst in between the two bones of my ankle. Now, 11 months post surgery, I am on the mend and ready to rock.

Your training has helped alot. Thanks for what you do!

    Hi

I have a survival tip for eating out.. always ask about the soup of the day. I have found that soups are oftan one of the healthiest items on the menu, unless it is a really creamy or oily base. Being Canadian as well, in the winter it is always nice to eat something hot and I find if you opt out for a salad or wrap they are usually cold and do not quite satisfy the way something warm can.

Also another tip is pre-plan where you are going. Oftan restaurants have their menus posted on-line and you can pre-decide what you want to eat.. or plan to bring something along in your purse in case you find out there is nothing you really want to eat there.

Thank you so much Zuzana, I am really enjoying your website and all of the information that you have here. Thanks for all the amazing videos!! You are awesome!

  • Elias

Hey there! I’ve recently been getting/putting baked salmon in my salads and it is AMAZING. I highly recommend it. Thanks Zuzana for the good tips!

I am very conscious when I go out to dinner to eat… most of the time. I am more afraid of the additives, chemicals, salt, preservatives and msg in the foods that I eat rather than the fat content in them.

I mainly order salads with a vinaigrette dressing on the side. I’ll also add some chicken or salmon to my salads when I go out. There just really isn’t much left that doesn’t worry me… unless you go to a health conscious or organic restaurant.

hi zuzana, your videos have been one of the best videos I have come across. I have a question for you. my body frame is wide and on top of it I have added some fat on it. could you please tell me what exercises will be best for reducing the inches on the side. I appreciate your reply.

    Hi Zuzana,
congrat for your nice siteweb, It is very well done …
Here it’s my tip for evening’s out : when I go out and do not want to eat too heavy , I usually order two apetizers instead of the apetizer and the entree … It’s like having the whole thing but in smaller portions =)

Zuzana! I had absolutely no idea you lived in Kingston! I live in Kingston and I would have been thrilled to have met you when you were here. I work by Lake Ontario park (Kingston Pen) and if ever you decide to come back to Kingston for a visit, please let me know and I’ll give you a tour! You’re a try inspiration and I love your workouts! Keep up the fantastic work!

  • swissy

Zuzana, I LOVE your web site and your workouts! I visit almost daily and try to get ideas for my exercise classes. I am a personal trainer and fitness instructor. Your posts and workouts are always inspiring and tough :)

I was wondering if I could ask a personal question about your implants??? I think you look incredible! I am going to get implants and am curious if they affected your workouts in any way, and what placement you got because they don’t seem to limit you in your workouts, which is a concern for us fitness fanatics. I’m sorry to be forward, but hoping if you feel comfortable, that you could comment or send me an email. If not, I understand, and look forward to enjoying more of your workouts. :) Thanks!!!

    HI Swissy,

I am glad that you are enjoying my workouts and thanks for compliments. I have got my implants under the muscle and now it doesn’t limit my training at all, however it was very hard after the surgery. I couldn’t do any workouts for about 2months and it took about 6 months before I could do a single push up. I have lost all of my muscle tone during that period. It helped that I had the operation in October, so that I still had some time to loose the extra weight and tone up a bit for the summer :)

  • swissy

    Zuzana,
Thanks for the info, I really appreciate you sharing. I’m doing SO much research now on the implant subject :) I am worried mostly about them affecting my workouts. I’m glad to hear you got them under the muscle which gives me confidence that one can still do weight training without implant distortion post-surgery :) Did you just follow what your body told you was too much or if it hurt you didn’t do it, or did you go by your surgeon’s advice? I’ve heard about no lifting for about a month but I know each person and surgeon differs.

On a different note, I got my pink GymBoss interval timer in the mail today. :) I can’t wait to use it with my workouts and during teaching my classes too!

Keep up the great work, thanks for your inspiration, and also for your comments!
    Swissy (Stacey) :)

When my husband and I go out to eat we usually share a meal. We save money and its portion control without having to think about it. Sometimes your meal is so good you just keep eating and eating more than you should so sharing is a great way to enjoy it in moderation.

We don’t eat desert when we go out unless its a special occasion. We always have an orange for desert when we come home and that gets rid of the sweet craving.

The hardest thing to do is to refrain from eating all the bread they give you! Its always the unhealthy white bread too.

Don’t wait untill you are starving to eat out.
You may eat more than you would normally just because you are ravenous. We like to keep nutritional bars or crackers in the car so in case we are about to pass out we eat a little untill we can get to the restaurant.(Purefit bars do not melt in the car)

If there is a Jason’s Deli where you live you should try it out. The restaurant does not use trans fats, high fructose corn syrups(in sodas only),or msg. It is soo good and super healthy.

  • Evie

Andy Warhol had this thing he would do when he went out to dinner. He’d order what didn’t appeal to him off the menu, pick at it a little during the dinner, then box it up and give it to a homeless person on the way home.

  • Amy

Just curious to what your creditentials are? What experience do you have? What certifications do you have? What education do you have?

  • Amy

I am a teacher and in the fitness feild and I feel that your pictures do not promote “health and welness” but are simply a clever marketing tool. Do you honestly think your fake bust and inappropriate photo’s promote a good role model?

  • Steph

Perhaps you just have an immature mind to think her photos are inappropriate. Also, she has helped so many people with workout and diet tips, like me. If I’m not mistaken, that’s a good role model.
Your opinion is your opinion but if you don’t have anything nice to say, keep your negativity to yourself please.
It is very ignorant to put down others, especially in the rude manner you portrayed.

  • Taryn

To Amy – if you were to take a good look through this website at all the archives and advice offered, Zuzana always states that she is just sharing what works for her, which changes over time! There are a lot of people out there that think Zuzana has an amazing body and she clearly works very hard at keeping it. Her workouts are excellent, and on the subject of nutrition, she simply shares what works for her. Her beauty might be the initial attraction to the site, but the people that follow her are attracted to her openness and honesty. She speaks to people in terms that are easily understood. You may also note that there are many comments saying that Zuzana has saved some people from even anorexia. I dont see how this can possibly be bad.

  • Zernike

To Amy – you said: “Do you honestly think your fake bust and inappropriate photo’s promote a good role model?”

I offer a loud and resounding YES! If it weren’t for Zuzana’s incredible good looks, I wouldn’t have even glanced at her videos, and now that I have…I am so inspired to workout hard and long to achieve even a thread of what Zuzana has done. She has quite literally changed my life for the better!

Can you, Amy, claim to have that kind of power to inspire or influence?? If so, please post your website, so we may all benefit.

  • Agata

I appreciate your determination in following healthy lifestyle. have to work on myself more.
It’s good idea to divide your meal in restaurant and take not eaten portion to home in box.
Unfortunately I’m glutton:( I do your workouts everyday! But when it comes to food I have to curb my huge appetite.

I have the photo of your small portion on my wallpaper!(from recipe on Chicken with vegetables)I do my best to cut my portion.

  • Allison

I am also a teacher in the fitness field (albeit a young one) and while I was a little shocked when I first stumbled across Zuzana’s videos, it only took me 5 minutes to realize that she has some amazing workouts and a variety of diet and lifestyle knowledge to share as well.

What is so different about the way she dresses as opposed to magazine covers? Aside from the fact that her breasts are larger than most, she wears the exact same attire (sports bra and some sort of bottom) that you would find on the cover of any good fitness magazine (Oxygen, Muscle and Fitness: Hers, etc.).

Also, remember that many places outside of the US view sexuality and the human body in different ways, and putting it on display is much more accepted. Just because it’s different (or you’re jealous) doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

  • Valerie

Would you two ever visit Kingston again?
I would LOVE to meet you guys! :)

  • Joy

Just to tack a comment onto a semi-expired conversation that Amy began: I stumbled on Zuzana’s videos on YouTube, and indeed, there are fitness marketing video out there that will use busty blond models to sell you trash (trash equipment, trash advice, trash aspirations, etc.) But there was something different about that first video of Zuzana’s; a few frames in, I was persuaded to investigate her site by her straightforward, creative, immensely practical and down-to-earth approach. Though I would not myself decide to get implants, I am not aware that Zuzana has actively endorsed a shapelier bust in her regimen for feeling well and looking good. It would be unjust to negate all her (and Freddy’s) good work on the basis of that personal decision and a more liberal (but still culturally normative) approach to body exposure. Having associated with physical therapists, trainers and doctors, I think Zuzana’s approach to fitness has been extraordinarily cautious and balanced; as with anything online, it is also up to us to double check vs. other references if we have our doubts. Lastly, when people of evident sincerity have invested as much as they have in a initiative as extensive as BodyRock, have not presumed to make outrageous claims, and moreover made themselves vulnerable by opening aspects their private lives to the online community, it would only be fair to treat them with gentleness. Part of a communal fitness.

well said Zernike, well said ;D

I like Zuzana but I think Amy has the right to say whatever she thinks without being attacked by everyone!
