    Zuzanna,
I have been working out for about two years, I have maade great progress and fitness has become one of my greatest hobbies and love. About a month ago I started training my girlfriend. I started with full body workouts using compund movements, intervals, and circuits. I recently found your site and i am excited to use some of your routines. i have a question aboutwhat i have noticed watching your clips. It seems you work legs and shoulders very often through a routine. I understand the amount of work given to the lower body since it takes up such a large amount of mass. Why so much shoulder work, do you believe that womens bodies respond to more delt work and have you noticed if your body responds well to it. Thanks for the time, and the site is awesome!

please suzana , tell me how long it takes to notice a change in my body if i do the whole workout 5 times a week and eat healty 5-6 small portion meals..and for how long should i do that workout then turn to more challenging workout ,i mean how long it takes to pass the ‘beginner’ stage??

HI Aya, this is very individual and can’t tell you exactly how long it is going to take you to see visible changes. If you stick to a healthy diet and if you will exercise on a regular basis, you can get to see positive results pretty fast. The important thing is not to give up and don’t look at it as something that you will do for certain period of time until you see the results. If you look at fitness as your new lifestyle, you will see nice changes in every aspect of your life.

    Hi Matthew H,

thanks for the nice comment. To answer your question, I do not focus on working my shoulders, but on functional exercises that are targeting the muscles of my upper body and my lower body. I am definitely not isolating my muscles in my workouts.

    Hello Zuzana,

First, thank you soooo much for keeping such a fantastic site!! I can’t tell you how inspirational and motivating a resource it is, I just can’t thank you enough.

I’m always excited to find a new video and I can’t wait ’til the 5th one is out! I’m really enjoying this workout a lot!
I was wondering how long you recommend a beginner follow this workout before moving on to an intermediate one? and which one of your intermediate workouts would you recommend?

    Marisa :)

  • Israa

Zuzanna, i really need to know for how long have you been working out and how much did you weigh befor?

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

Marisa, you can follow this workout for as long as you need until you get ready for more advanced workout. You have to be your own personal trainer and find out if you are strong enough to try different exercises and workouts.

  • Michelle

First of all, I would like to thank you so much for all of the effort you have put into creating such an informative fitness site. I am curious, though, how you came to be so knowledgeable about fitness–and whether you think it is absolutely necessary to work with a personal trainer in order to learn proper form, technique, etc. Have you worked with trainers in the past, or did you simply act as your own fitness teacher from the very beginning?

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

Hi Michelle, I have been fairly active most of my life but I got really serious about fitness just about a year ago when we started this site. I am certified personal trainer and I got my certification trough ISSA. I don’t think that everyone who is interested in getting fit has to work with a personal trainer. I believe that this is very individual. Some people are able to find out what works for them and are capable of training on their own and some people need help at least at the beginning. I believe that patience, focus and dedication can save you a lots of money that you would have to pay to a trainer.

    Hi Zuzanna

What size hand weights are those balls? I want to purchase some. I’ve seen 3lbs are these too heavy?

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

Hi Sharon, that depends on your strength. Try to do at least one set of an exercise in the store before you buy them.

  • Daniel

    Zuzana,

Thanks for your exercise advice on the videos. I get some good ideas when searching for different exercise routines when I’m training clients. Question, is it possible to either state the name of the exercise or put it on the screen? I’ve been making names up for some of your combo exercises but it would be great to see what you call them to help organize things. Keep up the great work.

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

    Hi Daniel,

sometimes I have no idea what to call the exercises :) feel free to call them whatever you want.

  • Brandy

These workouts are great! They really help me ease back in to exercising after a long break. I have one question if you don’t mind me asking, how tall are you? I ask because I had a hard time doing the one leg hip raise and I was wondering if it was because of my height. I’m 5’4″. Thanks for the help! Keep up the good work! : )

Just a technical tidbit. At the end of beginner’s workout #4, it says to go to workout #4 and it should be #5. Small details but still things people pick up on.

Nice workout. I was sore the first day but I love that reps are slow and not jarring on me. I have herniated disks and this workout is not only doable for me but incorporates some of the important back exercises I am to do to keep my back strong. Thanks!

  • laura

i love your workout sites. I have a question for you. Do you workout on the time of your cycle of the month and if you do what type of workout do you do?

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

    HI Laura,

I usually don’t workout the first 2 days of my cycle because I tend to feel tired. I avoid intense workouts and instead I do some light versions, active rest, or just stretching. It depends on how I feel that particular day. I think that in this case it is very important to listen to your body.

Zuzana, thanks soo for the keeping a such fantastic site!! I’m glad I found it now I’m ready to start to lose weight and getting in shape

  • Daniel

Three month ago, i found your site via a youtube video. first i only thought, “wow, isnt she totally awesome!” then i looked at myself and recognized that my decathlon-shape was totally gone. after 1 year of mononucleosis i had to stop doin athletics because it was way too hard for me and my body. since that day i was searching for a workout which starts from the really beginning. now i found it. so i started with this 40 minute workout and know what? i felt human again. its great that you offer workouts for all those who want to start, or restart again. im 25 years old and since my disease i felt like a sick young man not even able to carry heavy stuff. i tried running, swimming and all that but after 3 weeks i always quit doing it because there was nobody pushin me. thank you for doin that in a “digital” way. you cant imagine how thankfull i am.
    greetings from munich, germany

    Hi Zuzana,

thank you very much for this awesome site and your detailed introductions. They are very helpful. It´s my first time on your page and my first time to make a workout. I found your site by chance via a “youtube-video” and i´m so happy about it. Your body looks amazing and impressed me to make your workouts three times a week. I hope that acceptable, because i havent enought time to go to a fitness studio or something like that, so now i could do all these things at home, thats perfect, thanks you!!! I write you a comment after trhee weeks, when i using your workout and your tips for healthy meals. A lot of thanks and greetings from berlin, germany.
