I simply love this post and it's message!!! Those pics are a perfect example of being healthy and strong vs. a skinny and probably very unhealthy body. On the inside and outside. Thanks for sharing!
Love, Maria

I love this post.
I am a 23 year mother to two, my eldest turned two a few days ago, and my youngest is just over 2 months old. The pre-pregnant me was always naturally thin, I didn't have to worry about my weight or my physique, and my job was very physical, so I retained much of my muscle from when I was a cheerleader and power lifter in High School. However, with my first son I gained 51 pounds. I found it extremely difficult to do everyday task after my son was born, and my recovery time was horrible. I vowed to lose the weight, but that was my main focus, to "be skinny" again. I lost all but those last pesky 5 pounds and became pregnant again with my second. With him I only gained 27 pounds, less than the recommended amount for my weight and height. This time around, my recovery time was nonexistent, I literally felt like a new person just a few short hours after delivering and have felt the same way since.

That being said, once you have created a child inside of you, you truly do learn to appreciate every aspect of your pre-pregnancy body, as well as your post. Now my goals have changed from wanting to be skinny to wanting to be able to be fit, and keep up with these two boys! I do weigh myself every morning, simply out of habit, and this being my first week of really exercising since becoming pregnant I am truly loving seeing the number drop! 4 pounds my first week! Now I only have 9 to go to my pre-pregnancy weight.

I haven't started your program yet, as I injured my shoulder while pregnant *damn loose joints!* and had complete separation of my abdominal muscles which, apparently, needs to be slowly healed. But I am prepared to start your program within the next few weeks after checking back in with my Orthopedic Dr.

Can't wait to share my progress!

Hey there! I used to be a model and the pressure to be skinny was unbearable. I was always fit because I was a swimmer. In Brazil, where I lived for awhile, the women are fit and have amazing butts!!! Running and walking in the sand will do that!
Skinny doesnt mean healthy! I would much rather have a few more pounds of muscle than a flabby skinny butt. In the end, men want something they can grab a hold of, not feel like they will break you in half like a twig!!!
