  • http://FitnessJeans.blogspot.com Karena

WaHoo! I’m so glad you are back and I can now keep up with the new stuff as I’m new to finding your sight and love it. You changed my way of thinking about being thin, and after over 6 months of working to get my 10 lbs off…again after the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas eating, I finally working on being fit instead, and within 6 weeks of eating to be healthy and exercising to be fit, the 10 lbs just came off like that and I feel amazing. Thank you so much for your inspiration!

  • Tina

    Hi Zuzana,

It is very nice to hear you to found a place and everything is OK :)!

Great, I am looking forward to workout with you a lot!
I will definetly be watching you every single day!

    Best wishes,

    Tina

    Hi Suzanna,

Great to have you back. I have tried getting my arms down from going to the gym. My arms are “15″ and I weight about 196 Lbs. I have lost 19 Lbs. I have tried getting my arms down and toned but nothing works what do you suggest? I would like them to be much thinner.

I am losing weight but I just sprained my ankle while jogging and I am slowed down for about 3 weeks now. As soon as it is healed better I will start working out again.

Thanks for all your help. Hope you do a DVD soon.

  • Sueann Sherwood

Can’t wait till Friday! Workouts here i come!

  • meryt

are you coming to sicily, then? it’s a beautiful island, so many places to see :)
hope you’ll enjoy your new home! best to you.

  • Roq

Cool!! I’m so glad I found this webpage. You are doing a great job. Not only when it comes to exercises but also in keeping me motivated. I don’t really like going to classes at the gym so I usually work out alone and I think it’s hard to put together a program and keep myself motivated throughout the exercises when there is no one to push me through fatique. It’s like having a partner coming in here. It’s so great :-)

    Hey Zuzana,

Glad to see you :) Looking forward to following “your” daily routine. Why did you guys choose Malta to relocate? Just being nosey ;) Wishing you both the best!

  • nelita

Wow, That must be sooo exciting!!!!!! What made you guys move to MALTA? Do you guys have relatives there, or was it an expontaneous decision?

  • Vera

Malta, hein? Welcome back to Europe, Zuzana!
Great weather, isn’t it? Here in Portugal we are about 30ºC now in October. I can see much more sun and light in your video.

  • TEXAS CINDY

FANTASTIC! This is sooo wonderful to see that ya’ll are safe and getting situated in your new home in Malta. It is equally exciting that we will be working out with you Friday. Are these going to be morning workout schedules? I usually workout in the evening or late at night after dh has gone to work. Either way, I eagerly await to see what you have planned for us. By the way, who got the closest in guessing where ya’ll are living? Thanks so much! See you Friday!

  • David S

Congratulations on your exciting move! I wish you all the best in your new home. I look forward to the workouts.

  • http://awesome Jon

You are awesome. That has been apparent, but you keep on surprising us!
    Thank you,

  • Jana

    Ahoj Zuzko!
Thank you for posting your exercise/nutrition/lifestyle videos for free! I really appreciate it especially since they’re so high quality and you two put time and effort into each and every one.
I am looking forward to your daily videos. I did your “Beginner’s” six part serie after my 30 min run and boy was I sore the next day (mostly hamstrings from squats). I like being sore because I know that the exercises are working.
Good luck in Malta, I hope that you guys will find good friends soon so you don’t feel isolated.
    Thank you for everything,
    Jana.

  • Sartorius218

    Malta! Friday workout! BRAVO!!

  • http://martin.ankerl.com/ martinus

Good luck in Malta! It has awesome beaches, but take care of the jelly fish. You have to do the blue grotto on the Golden Bay beach with the speed boat, it’s awesome :)

    Hi Zuzana,

So what equipment did you keep as you moved to Malta? I hope you have your Clubbells and some weights with you!

I tried to get free promotional Sport 2.4 Powerblocks for you. Don’t know if that happened or not. I have classic 10 to 45 pound Blocks and love them.

    Best wishes,
    –Chris

  • shirley

Got your website by chance. And I love it. Have been following most of your workout. Just have a question to ask you. Why am I not able to get that kind of muscle bulk like yours? You are great and inspirational!

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

    Hi Chris,

I have no equipment with me except the rings, because they were light enough to travel with. We had already heavy bags and two dogs to carry additional weight. It will be a new challenge to keep in shape without any equipment, but that just makes it more interesting for me. I might ask Scott Sonnon if he would send me a pair or two of the clubbells again, we’ll see.

  • http://www.flickr.com/photos/41740772@N06/?saved=1 CL

    Hi Zuzana,

    Not even the Swiss balls?

Scott should send you both a 5 pound and 10 pound set, if he can afford it.

It’s to bad there aren’t adjustable Clubbells sets so you could just add or subtract weights from them (sort of like PowerBlocks or ordinary adjustable Dumbbells). I find doing the “circle” with my DIY 10 pound Clubbells really challenging.

BTW, I’m thinking of buying another of Scott’s DVDs.

    Best wishes,
    –Chris

Hi, i’ve just recently found this site and i think this site is really good.

I think you should have a comments and suggestions section on this site.

Carry on with the good work. :-)

  • Robert M.

As I said in another comment, I only recently discovered your website, but at this point I have watched several of your videos, read your tips on diet and your “Life” articles. I am becoming increasingly impressed with you. Along with having attained a very high degree of fitness, you have a very common sense approach to diet, training intensity, training duration, great kinesthetic awareness and you are a truly fine teacher, but what is most amazing is that in spite of your accomplishments and your attainments you are a very warm hearted person with what seems to me to be a rich inner life. You are a rare person, and certainly rare in the plastic world of fitness.

I have had few fitness heroes, but you are right at the top of my list. Keep up the great work, continue to be as genuine as you are, and have a great time living in Malta!

    Best wishes

  • Christine

I am so GLAD that you are back! I have been trying so hard to stay motivated but I am finding it more and more difficult! I had uploaded your iphone app and was able to hook my phone to my tv so I could workout with your routines. I have tried to follow others, but they just are not what I find of interest! I did hear that soon (and I hope VERY soon!!!) that the BodyRock application through Apple will soon be back up and available. I hope so because this is what encouraged me to stop smoking and to workout instead! Thanks for your motivation and inspiration and I am glad that things are finally moving along for you and wish you the best in your endeavors as you continue to motivate others like me! Thank you again and Best wishes!

  • Janice

Woohoo!!! Congratulations on your move to Malta. :)

  • hipretty

Oh wow I had no idea you guys moved…I have had my own health issues for a while so I have missed out checking in and working out. It’s tough to have to climb back all over again.

You were in Canada previously weren’t you?

Blessings, Health and Happiness in your new Home!

  • hipretty

    Hi Z & F,

How are you guys adjusting to living there? Frederick mentioned about the apples staying there and not moving and no fresh ones being ordered until they are gone. I unerstand the views are magnficent, but are you able to get the fresh foods /produce you need to fuel yourself properly?

    Blessings!

    :-D

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

    Hipretty,

as we are getting to know this place better, we kind of know now where to go when we want fresh fruit and vegetables, where to go for meat or bread, etc.

  • Kurt

    Hi Zuzana
My name is Kurt. I’m from Malta. I hope you settled down and found everything to your liking on our island, Malta. If ever you need some good place to promote or record your programme, email me and I could set you up with some equipment supplies free of charge. I know quite a few people here who would be happy to sponser your programme. Take care

    Kurt

  • Kurt

    Hipretty

Maltaisn’t some lost island where we have no fresh food supplies. Of course everyone has fresh fruit and food available. I can’t imagine anyone here to keep the same apples or produce until it’s all sold. frederick must have been joking…… or they are in the wrong, unexplored part of th islands :))

    Keep well

  • Kurt

    Hi Zuzana & Fredrick

I just saw your post called “Killer cardio – Race to the top”. Cool. My brother and I used to run up that same hill when we were a bit younger. We had built up quite “greek God” bodies from just playing around (Nowadays, those muscles are tucked and buried under a coat of bear skin :)). I’m actually from Gozo, but I live in Malta due to architectural work. One point you should keep in mind, when running up those hills or in the Gozo country side, is that a LOT of fields have wells which are left uncovered. Due to winter vegitation, you will not know about them or see them. WATCH your step. Stick to the paths. There is also the lighthouse hill accross from Zebbug. Try that hill. It’s a killer… But once you get to the top, the views are amazing.

    Take care

    Hi Kurt,

thanks for your advice. We appreciate it.

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

    Kurt,

that’s true, we are just in the part of the island where we have tiny 2 little shops with not a great choice of fresh fruit and vegetables and many times it is not even fresh. Victoria is great tho, I can’t say anything bad about the shops over there.

  • Kurt

    Zuzana

:).. Which part of the island are you staying? Sounds to me like you’re in a hamlet or something :)). Yes, Victoria is much better for shopping. There is also Zeppi (Guiseppi’s) vegatable store, just outside Victoria near Brookies bar and restaurant. But your best bet is order everything from Arcadia and they should deliver it free of charge to your door.

    Take care

    Kurt

  • Kurt

    Zuzana

An Idea.. with a view :).. There is a place by the sea just below Zebbug, called Qbajjar. There are about 4 Kms of Salt pans that are not in use during the winter months. Apart from a sight to see, they certainally double as an obstacle course. Prepare for volcanos in your muscles if you attempt this course :)))

    Take care

    K

  • hipretty

    Kurt,

I was not insulting beautiful Malta…I was merely responding to something Frederick mentioned, and I myself was inquiring knowing the intense workouts they do, and the efficient fuel they need to refuel. I happen to have a dear friend who’s family is from there.

Damn, I just posted this huge comment and then when I clicked submit the dang page when all white, does this mean I have to type it out all over again guys? I hope it’s not lost for good, that took me a long time to type out…uhhh.

Hey Zuzana, I was really inspired by your workout videos and how in shape you are, and I started following your fitness program for intermidiate level but then the workout rountines page disappeared, I was wondering if it was undergoing maintenance or if you have to subscribe to get them? Please let me know, I really appreciate all your doing helping people to get in shape.

  • Mishka

    Ahoj Zuzko,

I am totally in love with your blog.

I found your stretching and warm up exercise, and total beginner workouts a way back in archives.
It would be extremelly helpful to have a page for beginners like myself with excercise plans for the first few months with links to your blog vids.

    Držím palce.
