Hi Guys,
Yesterday we finally worked the courage up to rent a car here in Malta.
We took a drive to see the Azur window on the north western coast of Gozo. The window is gigantic and the sea around it is intensely blue. If it was warmer, we could go snorkeling. The window is slowly collapsing away from the mainland and one day it will be completely isolated.
Close to the Azur Window is Fungus Rock. The Knights of St. John believed that this rock held incredible healing powers against certain diseases and illnesses. The rock was guarded and only certain people were allowed to access it. There was a guardian of Fungus Rock until the middle of the last century. The natural beauty of the rock and the sea around it makes you feel just happy to be alive and breathing the fresh air. This definitely counts as healing.

so glad your enjoy your stay. i recommend nadur carnival next weekend! i think you’ ll like it. Carnival in Nadur is unique because it is spontaneous. The street will be crammed full with thousands of people who enjoy the carousing which goes on into the early hours of the morning. Some wearing only a sheet or bedspread, boiler suits, masks. You ll see mimicking of a wedding ceremony, couples in a bed on wheels feigning lovemaking, in exaggerated pregnancy costumes, the trailing of live animals like a sheep, a goat, or a donkey. :D

This was great- at first when I saw a comment left by someone a while back asking for personal life videos of you two, it sounded a little cheesy and even kind of creepy to me. But actually this was a really fun video- good laughs and thanks for the view of Azure window- incredible!

Don’t feel bad about being scared in the passenger side Fred-I am the world’s worst passenger (just ask anyone I know)and that’s in my own country where I’m familiar with the driving. I make the same sounds in fright and my fiance says the same thing…I make her so nervous…she has to let me drive. I love the “spoon licking”. I was cracking up because I always think that stuff in resturants….we are totally at their mercy. The Azure window was amazing!!

You two are so great!!! I’m from the states and think it is so great to hear Fredrick say “aboot” just so canadian and just so adorable.
It is so hilarious too that I understand your pain Zuzana. When I was married I lived in Italy and my husband complained about the same thing Fredrick complained about your driving. I rarely heard the end of it, but it is very very hard to get used to driving on the wrong side of the road. I can remember my hands would get sweaty with nerves and he would be holding the bar on his side with a look of terror on his face every time I drove.
We had two cars, one was from back home so the wheel was on the correct side of the car and I had to drive on the other side… when I got pregnant I would forget sometimes (bad side effect of child bearing) which side to drive on and well…. it wasn’t good. Haha such memories, thank you for sharing this and making me laugh so so so hard! I am begining to miss Italia now, but I do love my cabin in the mountains too.

I paid my room and board in university washing dishes with a student dishwashing crew. No foolin’, we had 160F steaming water wash and rinse, it was a responsibility, or students would get sick and give it to us. They called us “grubs” because we worked in soapy water and steam.
As far as restaurants go, I usually check silverware and china from the reflection; it’s easy to spot a lack of “steaming rinse sheen”. If it’s not there, I wipe it down with an alcohol wet-nap on my napkin; evaporates right away, just recommend you avoid letting the staff see you do that.

Ja bydlim v UK a tady taky jezdi po leve strane prvni jizda byla na nervy a jeste ktomu tady maj hrozne uzky ulice asi tak jako ty si jela a na ty jedny strane byly ty kameny proste to k ty strane pritahuje ja sem pri prvni jizde ani nevim jak ale skrtla sem spetnim zrcatkem a to ve mne jeste vic hrklo ale asi po 2mnesicich sem si sedala s trochou klidu za volant.No a ten vyhled co jste nam ukazali je nadhernej (zavidim) vim proc jste se prestehovali.Ale v Kanade jsou taky pekny mista chtela bych se tam podivat ale pravda to pocasy se neda srovnavat Good for you.

Frederick looks alot like Michael Keaton more than Matt Damon. But I feel that Frederick is dark in certain aspects and uncannily gives the vibe that he is Batman.Even his clothes and his hair have very Batmanesque symbolism to it. I was wondering how you and Zuzanna met and this is personal so you don’t have to answer it. A big question that’s been on my mind is do you guys sustain yourselves off of this website alone or are you guys rich or something? You guys live a cool lifestyle but it seems surreal and just asks the question how is it done? Also Frederick you in particular are really good at writing especially your articles. Do you come from a relatively wealthy family or what?? P.S. I need seven pounds to be at normal weight. I weigh 183.8 pounds and have to lose it. But I still have a belly and man boobs! HELP ME BE MOTIVATED IF YOU CAN REPLY I’D APPRECIATE IT!
Frederick also I noticed that wearing nice clothes at home makes you less of a couch potato. Go ahead prove me wrong. And I’m still waiting for a response from you guys.
