Sexy Hot Cool Workout

Hi Guys,

Well it’s been a few days, but that’s because we have moved – again! We have had a pretty hectic few days of packing and moving – not to mention all of the flights and car rides, but now we are settled and looking forward to resuming our daily workouts with you. Both Freddy and I are really happy to be back in Canada – especially because the weather here has been incredible lately. I am really looking forward to getting outside for our workouts :) Sean traveled back with us and helped us with our move, and he will continue to be working out with us now that we are back. Both Freddy and I have really enjoyed our family workouts and having Sean around has really helped to motivate us to push harder and be more competitive in a friendly way.

Lately we have been experimenting with upping the intensity of our workouts and taking them to the next level. I can honestly say that I have never pushed as hard as I have in these past few workouts – obviously I had some reserves there that I was not using – I think it’s really important to keep trying to move forward and not get stuck in the idea that you have reached your limits. When you are reaching for max intensity in your workouts, sometimes you can surprise yourself and break through the ceiling of what you thought was possible and arrive at a whole new level. Don’t let yourself settle into thinking that where you are now is it. Freddy, Sean and I all discovered over the past two weeks that we were capable of much more speed, strength and endurance than any of us originally thought possible. I know it’s the same for you as well. I think that each of us also realized how proud we are of our training – these workouts are tough both mentally and physically – and you should feel good about completing them – especially if you feel inside that you have pushed it at your individual best. Sweaty hi-fives all around :)

Oh – Freddy needs some help with workout names… any ideas would be welcome!

Todays workout is just brutal :) It’s another bodyweight training workout and all you will need is your interval timer which you can find here, and a step or sturdy chair.

Today’s workout is made up of 3 parts and all you need is a Gymboss Interval Timer

Part 1

6 rounds of the following 2 exercises and your goal is to complete them as fast as you can:

10 high knees (each jump counts as 1 rep)

10 explosive push ups

High Knees

Dynamic Push Ups

Part 2

Set your timer for 8 rounds of 2 intervals of 10 seconds (your rest period) and 50 seconds (your max effort).

You will go through the following sequence of exercises twice. Your goal is to complete maximum reps for each exercise during the 50 second interval.

1.Elevated Push Up with Knee Tucks

2. Step Up – left leg

3. Step Up – right leg

4. Reverse Knee Tucks

Elevated Push Up with Knee Tucks

Step Up

Reverse Knee Tuck

Part 3

Just like in Part 1 of this workout you will be doing 6 rounds of the following exercises for time:

10 Mountain Climbers (2 jumps count as 1 rep)

10 Jump Lunges

Mountain Climbers

Jump Lunges

    Yeah, welcome back!
In which city did you move?
Your place looks awesome. Nice decor!

I was not able to workout for a week now but was going on your website everyday, refreshing the page every 2 minutes!
So happy to see a new workout.

Actually, I could not work out because my lower back is hurting really badly. I could do baasic movements and you should have seen me pulling on my socks: pathetic!!

Anyways, I have been missing your workouts so much and I think I’ll resume your workout tomorrow. I still feel al ittle pain but I just miss these workouts so much, and I feel so bad in my body.
I would love to try the recents workouts you did but will take it easy.

Thanks a lot for keeping us in shape and again welcome back.
Weid feeling to know that you are closer now ;)

  • Samantha

Welcome back!! Love the new place! :) I’ve been hitting your workouts hard, but could really use some advice in the diet area. I’d love to be as ripped as you. Would you ever consider posting or selling possible meal plans?? That’d be SUPER helpful in reaching my next goal.

    XOXO,

    Samantha

P.S. Going to do this kick ass workout first thing tomorrow! And, I love the pic of you and Sean!

  • RN

    Hi Zuzana,

Where are you in Canada. Are you still in Kingston? I would love to run into you.

  • Ella

    Hola Amigos!

Well, Zuzana, thanks as always for everything. The same for the rest of the team-family.

Amiga, I have some questions but would like to post them later so you can have little more time after your jet-lag…

Thanks for the invitation about names… It happens that the other day I was on the bus and thought: “Umhhh I am going to ask Zuzana to design a workout for: “No more dirty clothes (lundry clothes) in my washboard abs”"

    What do you think?

Am I clear? Sorry English is my second language. But I thought it would be funny… I got inspried of the video when you went to do laudry in Prague. I also do not like dirty clothes around… less on my abs! Lol!

    Tons of Blessings,
    Ella

  • Erika

Welcome back to Canada!! Looking forward to trying this out tomorrow. Excited to see some of your workouts move outside as well – we just did the “Keep it Hard” workout at a playground using the jungle-gym for pull-ups.

  • Shannon L.

All I have to say is HOLY COW!!! Im scared to do this workout. Ill probaby do it but won’t do as many rounds.

  • Pam

That looked like a very difficult workout.

I don’t think I’m there quite yet. I’m just doing your beginner stuff right now.

Where did you get the pants in this one?

I have a really hard time finding nice workout wear.

    Cheers, Pam

  • Kelly

I was doing your workouts 5x week and feeling exhausted most days. Now, I have started doing 2 days workout, 1 day rest, 2 days workout, 1 day rest. Feeling much better. Love that you are uping the intensity of the workouts…I have been really feeling the burn this past week doing the workouts you and Sean have put together.
Glad to hear you are back in Canada…(the best place on earth;)

  • Sidra

“Do or Die workout”…how’s that?? =))

  • Vicky

Hi Guys!! I am so looking forward to doing this workout! I haven’t been feeling my best these few days so i’ll be doing old workouts and i’ma save this one for when i’m all better so I can push really hard like you guys :)

  • Kelly

I should of said in my first comment that I was doing your workouts 5x week (Monday to Friday) and having Sat & Sun off.

  • Lauren

Welcome home to Canada! Weather in Vancouver is not so lovely, so send some sunshine our way.

This looks so wicked hard, and I can’t wait. I already did my workout (a combo of Get Hot Cardio and Hard Core Abs) for today, but this one is up next for sure!

    So grateful for your site!

  • Cassidy

Hey Zuzana – Now that you are back in Canada (and I actually think, not too far from where I am located)… Please let us know if you ever do public classes!

Or if you do publicity sessions.

I think you and Freddy would benefit hugely if you offered public classes – and extra motivation; since we would be seeing you on stage pushing your limits and pushing us to ours!

Either way, welcome back to Canada!

    xo.
    Cassidy <3

ps – if you build it, they will come :D

  • http://none veronique

  • Shannon L.

This workout shouldn’t be called “Sexy Hot Cool Workout” becuase there is nothing sexy or cool about it. It should be called something more like “Go To Hell and Don’t Come Back Workout” LOL!

  • mag

congratulations for back to your place!
and the workout it is just GREAT, i will do it in a minute :D
Zu! I have a questiooon, you said that in your breackfast, now you are eating fruits and no more oatmeal, or bread but how much fruits are you eating? like one banana?, or maybe 2 fruits?

how many fruits do you eat in one day?

and in your others meals you said that now you are eating less meat, and more veggies and salad, but for example in you lunch the portion of some veggie is bigger than the portion that you used to eat about I don’t know maybe chicken?. do you understand me?,

and guys are you working out everyday now?
    thank you so much guys!

  • Susan

Sean is gonna be in wicked shape hanging with you guys!!!!
can he do the workouts without his shirt??
    ha har ;)
what about Freddy doesnt he get in the workout vids??

  • Sharon

I’m lovin these workouts! As for a workout name…how bout the “Spank your bootie” workout? Or the “Mama said this workout will knock you out” workout?

  • Tom

What a workout! I never seen you suffer so much :) makes me want to try it even more (feel the burn)… From me and from all of us in Canada (welcome back) :) LOVE your website, I have told so many people ever since i found it. you have no idea the amount of inspiration that you give to many many people around the world! My wife and I look forward to working out with you guys for a very very long time! :)

  • Natasha

Great to see you in my country! I’m in Vancouver but I know you guys are having incredible heat in Ontario. I did the rude boy workout this morning at 5am with jsut a coffee in me. It was great. I’ll be trying this one tomorrow. Its great to see Sean doing the workouts because I’m trying to get my husband to workout out with me. He’s like Sean ysed to be, gym rat. Only free weights, machines and Cardio. His core is probably not strong either. He watched this workout with me so maybe I’ll get him one of these days….. thanks for all the hard work!

    Natasha from Vancouver

  • damon

hi guys,, great workout… looks like a torture jaja.. you are the best seriouly..a question..I have a great abdominal area but a bit of fat accumulated.. if I do this exercises is a cardio workout?? or what exercises do you recommend to burn that fat?? …

  • Isidora

cant wait to try it!! i have a question the 2 part is 1 set or 2 sets??

  • Liz

I noticed your vascularity, pretty impressive!!! You should call a workout super-set sexy pumped workout. You could incorporate super-setting into it as the main attraction!

  • Staci

Can’t wait to try this one! Thanks for mentioning the push-up tips at the end, esp. the one about not letting the stool hit the wall. I realized, “What’s the point of doing push ups on a Swiss ball if it’s hitting the wall?” Duh. Congratulations on what looks like a smooth move to Canada!

  • Amelie

I’m curious, where in Canada are you now? I’m in Montreal,Qc :-)

i just love your workouts and I try Some of your exercises to make my own interval training.

  • Kala

Hey guys, glad to have you back in Canada. You got a fan from Toronto here!!!!

Zuzana, I’ve been following you since February and I love the site. And now with Sean and Freddy it’s soo much fun.

I’m very much into fitness too: I workout almost everyday and I’m working on a healthier diet now to get better results.

I use your workouts mostly as references, I have to change some exercises sometimes because of injuries, but I still love them!!! I find them very inspirational and a prove that hard work does pay off emotionally, physically and mentally.

Keep the good work and thanks for all the sweat! LOL

  • http://www.sisygarza.com sisy

    Blessings,
    Shawnie

  • A.

I can see you guys pushed really hard. I’ll try this workout because i need to slim down my thighs.

    Good job guys :D

  • Georgia

    Hi Zuzana!

I’ve been watching your workout videos for a while now. I’m just starting with the easy tabata workout (20 sec. and 10 rest) I have to say that it really makes me feel better after working out.

Soon I will be taking college classes to study dietetics and fitness. I’d like to learn myself how to live a healthy lifestyle and how to help others as well.

I am just curious about one thing though. What do you do when your not working out? Do you go to work? Do you go out all day? Is it any different than the average person?

    Thanks!

    Georgia

  • Lena

    Yay you are in Canada!
Ok this workout was awesome! Took me quite a bit to recover. I think i was getting loopy somewhere in the middle, lol. I really like it how you switch exercises so it doesnt get boring! My only concern is that i finished 3rd round in 3min 44 sec. I thought it was really weired as i finished faster than Sean did. I did all 6 rounds (i marked each one). However, i didnt do 10 jump lunges in 1 piece. I would do 5(push really hard to do all them non stop), then i would have a mini break and do another 5. Is this allowed? Probably first 2 rounds i did all 10 at once, but that was it, after that i started doing 5 break 5 and then all 10 mountainclimbers.
I was really looking forward for you guys to be back on here! i was feeling so lazy today. Its almost Memorial Day weekend, so didnt feel like doing anything, and then i saw a new workout and go all super motivated! Thank you!

  • Megan

That is so exciting that you are in Canada! I am so glad Sean is staying on the team. I agree that he has been a nice addition and I have been loving the extra hard work I have to put into these workouts. You guys are all amazing and I think I speak for everyone when I say we are blessed to have you. I sent you a message about yoga ball workouts, and I want to know what you think about this piece of equipment. Thank you for everything you guys! <3 Megan

    I have to say…
This workout beat me like I haven’t been beaten before.

I changed the third part to a combo of a Prisoner Squat to Jump Lunge. One Squat and Lunge counts as 1 rep and I did that 10 times. I did the whole thing 6 times, so 60 Squat/Lunge combos. B. R. U. T. A. L.

    Great Workout!!

  • Sean – BodyRock.Tv

    We are in Kingston.

    Thanks

  • Sean – BodyRock.Tv

    Hi,

    2 sets.

    Thanks

  • LeMarge

Welcome home Zuzana, Sean and Freddie! I go to the gym really early so I can do your workouts. I have to grunt and groan through them and it’s best if no one hears that ;-p
I’m well into my 50′s so do modified but I’m thinking of getting the timer so I can push harder.

  • Ariana

    Nice…I’m a short drive away in Edmonton. : )

  • http://www.jenniferestrada.ca Jen

Hey Freddie, you should make the names of your workouts whatever Sean describes his pain as throughout! He has some good descriptive words during this workout!

  • Polly

Oh guys, I’ve just did that. It’s totally brutal! The main problem for me was the push ups, my arms are still very weak, they are burning now :) I can see why Sean is melting. Three of you are just sick….in a good way :)
Thanks again for the great workout

  • http://www.motionyoga.blogspot.com Lucka

    haa haa, nice suggestion :0

  • Tali R.

    Hi Guys

pleas can you explain part 2 of the workout again. i meen with the time, and how many time you do each one,
    thank you

  • James Hankins

You guys have been working at this for some time now, and your level of fitness is such that you’re likely not candidates for overtraining, especially doing primarily body-weight work. But I do wonder about some of your followers out there who may be trying to match your performance. i can tell you from experience, overtraining is a real possibility that can lead not only to chronic mental and physical fatigue, but also to injury and illness–the only cure for which is extended rest. So while it’s great to push yourself, and to encourage others to do the same, there are certain limitations you ignore at your own peril. Exercise enthusiasts have to learn to listen to their body and know when to push and when to rest. Just something to keep in mind when you’re encouraging others to “go all out” in their efforts. There’s nothing like “burnout” to put the brakes on someone’s fitness program. Been there, done that.=) Anyway, keep up the good work.

  • bohdana

You guys are crazy , moving from Europe , traveling for days and working out so hard. It takes me week to recover from jet-leg.
My time all together was 13.20 min, but if I would travel as you did , that would be much higher #. That being said , I’m soo happy you are back doing workouts so soon, I couldn’t wait !!!

  • EB

    Hi Z&F&S
I tried your workout this morning and I have to say that it was really hard for me! Yesterday I did 2 of your older workouts (just because I was bored so I did one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and was still in major pain today.. But I really feel better after I have moved my muscles and so I tried this killer workout… My arms are very weak and so the first part and the first exercise of part 2 were my killers… I just could make 7 el. push ups and knee tucks :-( but with your exercises I feel getting better every time I work out and that’s a real benefit! Thanks so much for your workouts!!

  • EB

I love your “you’re not 21 anymore workout” !!! that’s so good! I know what you mean ;-)

  • Kristyna cz

  • kika

    Hello guys,
I´m so jealous of you and your travelling:-) I know how exciting living in foreign country is (not for Fredy now). I´m from Prague and lived in the US for a year and in Finland. Now it´s been a few years since I´m back here in Czech Rep. Looking at yout new place just remands me of my travelling and I kind of start to have this urge to go abroud again:-) But I can´t really to do that because of my studies here.
I would love love love if you show us a little bit of your new place, the city etc.
Thank you for motivating me to do my best!

  • Roq

I just want to say thank you guys. I don’t have a workout partner which makes it more difficult to keep motivated at times. You really fill that void for me even on days I’m not doing the same workouts you are.

  • Roq

    Hi Chabb,

Use the link “Daily Workouts” scroll all the way down to get to her previous entries. A few pages back you can find a warm up routine from 29th of January and a stretching routine from the 5th of February.

  • Lisa C

How about ‘Kiss My Ass (or Butt or Bumper)’ as a workout name for one of the glute intensive workouts?

    Good luck in Canada!

  • Roq

    Hi Pam,

She like LuluLemon. I do too :-) You should also check out bodhi-fit, Public Myth, linofitness and there is also a lot of yogawear that just looks very nice. I intended to go on the Public Myth’s official website earlier but it seems like someone hacked the page. You can still look at the design at MySpace and Facebook.

  • Antonia

    zuzana,

have a wonderful day, see you tomorrow – i hope

  • Tali R.

me too me too i want to see you workout

  • Gss

I don’t appreciate the subtle feminist nuances in your videos. Why can’t you just do a fitness video and leave it at that? Sean would bury you in a head-to-head competition anyway. He’s probably 200lbs and can still do as many push-ups if not more than you. It really doesn’t matter if Sean is as fit as you now anyway since the longer you work out, the better the male is over the female since men are better athletes. Men can achieve a much higher level of fitness. That’s why men and women compete separately in track and field events and marathons.

  • Red Fox

Oh, you two moved back in Canada. That’s nice. :)
And this workout was very brutal! I had to reduce the rounds because this was too tough for me. But i tried my best. :)

  • Sherin

ur in canada?????????? I wanna meet you..:-)))

  • Antonia

I am not understanding how to do the rounds, Im new at trying this. like when you say 10 knee highs and push ups at 6 rounds to you do go back and forth…ten knee highs ten push ups ect..

then after finsh that you so part 2 then part three?

its not so much of me not doing the excersises but understanding the math…PLEASE HELP!!

(sorry if i seem dumb its because i fell asleep during color time in kindergarden…its true, to get rid of me my mom faked my age and i started skool at 3)

  • Zari

Hi guys, glad to hear you made it safely back to Canada!

Zuzana, I just wanted to let you know how your webpage has totally changed my approach towards fitness and health. I started going to the gym about a year and a half ago, mainly to strengthen my back. I had been dealing with chronic back pain for about four years and decided it was time to really take ownership of my body and the state that it was in. It wasn’t easy, but with consisent workouts, I finally started to notice an improvement in the amount of pain I was in, and I started to feel stronger.

Recently, I felt that I was at the point where I could do more and wanted to step things up a notch. This is when I came across your webpage. I have taken my workouts to a whole new level and my body is sore in new places almost every day! You have even motivated me to do more cooking (which is a HUGE step for me)!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved for your hard work. Your personalities and dedication are truly motivating…keep up the great work!

    Cheers from Newfoundland :)

    Neala

Some workout names I came up with for my own routines: Ab Fab (for an ab routine obviously), Massive Body Attack, Godfather, Monster’s Ball, Wrecking Ball (for a really intense workout), Full Body Blast, Busy Bee (for a short workout with combined exercises, like a downward facing dog combined with a push/press up), Fat`Redemption, Lazy Hawk Down (yes, I like my movie references!!).

Why do you guys move so much though?

    x sabine

  • Berny

    Hi =)
I just tried your workout for the first time and I loved it !!

  • Frederick

We are actually in the planning stages of our first DVD now :) When we have it ready it will be on the site…

  • Bill

Would love to see a video of your new digs and the area where you are now. Also, how about some outdoor workouts again, the weather and scenery up there should be outstanding now. Go outside and play, kids!

  • http://rathernotsay Sabrina

Honestly a work out where Zuzanna is struggling at the end scares me!!! So glad to see you guys are all safe and happy. Cali looked so cute on the couch watching your work out. She manages to stay so thin with so very little working out, how does she do it!

  • Tara

Hi! Love the workouts!!! I’m wasn’t able to complete this all at once. Will it still work if I break up into three separate segments?

  • D

haha super funny as always! love the new workout! i just ate your sweet pepper chicken and then will do your workout! how cool is that! hehe thanks guys for being here and motivating and inspiring me!!! lots of love!

  • Rosa

I have been doing your workouts for several months now along with my regular cardio/weight training program.

Todays workout was great!! I prefer to struggle at the end then have to much left. I hope to see more workouts like this.

    Thanks for a great website.

  • Natasya

    Mh and now u left us…Europeans :(

  • luann

  • http://www.branthomesales.com Jeff T

Welcome back to Canada. My wife and I love your workouts. In the past 3 months we have cancelled our gym memberships and let go of our trainer and just follow you now.
    Thanks!!

  • Cassidy

If you don’t like what they are doing – then get off the website.
Zuzana, Sean, and Freddy have done wonders for people’s confidence levels and their motivation.

I would like to see YOU go head to head with Zuzana – she would destroy you.

Your message clearly outlines jealousy and quite frankly, I don’t believe that anyone on this website cares about what you have to say.

    Get lost GSS.

    Cassidy.

  • autumn

OMG..THIS WORKOUT LOOKS GREAT..im about to try it now!

  • pam

maybe even “Kiss my Sass” ;)

  • Isabella

    “Sexier than Television Workout” XD

  • Romienca

    Hi Guys! Hey James,

I agree, but to be frank- everyone shloud have their own brakes, shouldn’t they? :) Zuzana and the rest of her sweet family, including those sweet doggies are doing their best to motivate people in a healthy way all over the world not to be afraid of move… And I think they’re doing it perfectly. :) Even though it can be difficult to keep that speed for someone in the beginning.

Anyways…. Everyone can do workouts- How tough? and How often?… These are very individual questions and we enthusiastics want to find the answers. However I’m sure most of people want to feel great more than feel dead after each workout :) What’s more, Zuzana time to time says beware of overtraining and how you recognize, if you are overtraining- so I would say it’s all alright with that.

…And if you do feel GREAT and then bit DEAD after the workout- you did your best during the exercise… :)

Thank You guys for doing this whole Thing for us- keep it up as long as possible. :)

    Best,

    Romienca

  • Yobi

why do you guys move so much? What are you running from?

  • Crystal

Ha! This one is Intense! I loved to see that you, Zuzana, can be vulnerable and push outside your comfort zone too. I realize that is the way to see and feel change but when I watch you, your form is nearly perfect and your model perfect with most of your workouts.
Thank you for Inspiring me and so many!
    Best!
    Crystal

  • pam

    What’s your point?
It’s just friendly competition. I’m sorry you’re offended by it, oh wait i’m not.
People like you need to lighten up.

  • http://asugarhigh.blogspot.com Jess

    ooooh I can’t wait!!

  • DORIS

maybe they are undercover agents on the run :)

  • http://asugarhigh.blogspot.com Jess

yea that comment seems unnecessary. What difference does it make that she’s competing against a man? And that’s complete bullshit to say that men are better athletes than women! Anything a man can do, we women can do way better. I don’t know if you’re a man or woman, but I’m sure Z would kick your ass in a fitness competition any day. Hell, I bet I could too.

  • Rebecca

    Welcome back!

This workout was CRAZY intense!!! LOVE IT!!! I don’t think I’ve sweated this much in a while. More of these workouts please! Zuzana rocks!

Oh, and can you please make an extra intense workout for the 16h of June? It’s my birthday :)

  • Marie-Josée

I did it in 18 min 53 sec. damm it’s hard but god I trying to convince my boyfriend to start with me since I’m losing fat and he’s getting some I need a partner to work harder :) love y a guys

P.S. welcome home in Canada !!!!

What a great and important thing to point out, James. I am 42 next week and have found my knees barking from doing a ton of these moves (such as squats/lunges–or any jumping versions of the same). I have always worked out and have been active all of my years. But I was an avid runner from a young age and those years have caught up to me. I am pretty certain I have arthritis in my knees. I have had to learn the hard way that I cannot run long distances anymore and just had to finally stop..though it was tough and I miss it.

After finding Zuzana’s incredible body-weight exercises on utube about 2 years ago..I feel free as I can finally do something different, short and intense but see results that I didn’t even see while running a lot.

But for someone new to working out or perhaps older age, fit but not yet at these standards..you guys would be smart to pronounce these are very advanced moves that one should modify (perhaps showing the best alternative way for the novice or intermediate level to still do the workout).

I also have some shoulder issues right now from the many push-ups involved in these routines but because I have lived and learned a lot about how foolish it is to continue working out those areas (meaning–the pain gets worse before you finally have to stop altogether and can no longer even do a workout until you heal)I make adjustments or lay-off the pushups or offending exercise until I am not feeling pain there.

It’s SO important to listen to your body.
I only wish I could attempt a lot of the more intense moves without feeling my various old-injuries creeping back out. In this way..it sucks getting old;) But I keep pressing on:)

  • Sandra

Welcome back to Ontario!!! I had to laugh when I found out that’s where you were b4 going to Prague… as I grew up near Simcoe, went to school in Hamilton and now have been living in Windsor for the past decade with my hubby and goldens =)

This workout looks too much for this girl haha. Still working from the back. But wanted to thank you again for all that you do to help and encourage us to improve our own fitness level.

Last year I lost just over 60 lbs in 8 months using a website called Sparkpeople.com And learned to encorporate exercise into my daily routine, which was non-existant before. Now I am small, but still flabby and that’s where I feel this website will really help me to reach my goal of fit, healthy and energized!!!

    Have a great weekend!!

  • Noy

    name for a workout

Rock that body inspired by the Black Eyed Peas song :)

  • Peet

    Hi Guys,
My name is Peter, and I’m from Romania. Have been watching your videos for quite some time now, but this was the first workout that I have done. Let me say I was impressed by how hard it is, and sadly I couldn’t complete all of it, but next time it will be better. Truth is, I did a workout earlier in the gym too, and this was just the cardio for today, as I’m trying to get leaner for a bodybuilding competition in September.
Zuzana, you should consider competing. I think you could do great in a figure or bikini show( IFBB, or WBFF).
    Keep up the good work:)
    Peter

  • La

whoa, really unnecessary hostility, Zu and Freddy work really hard to keep this a positive place with support and respect- let’s try to keep it that way.

  • pam

    ZUZANA!!!
I lose 5 pounds by doing your workouts for only two weeks!!!
    I’ve never lost weight!
I usually gain or stay the same despite workouts.
I was in cross country and basketball and I didn’t lose an ounce.
I checked my weight, and i lost 2.5 kilos!
This is such a huge accomplishment!
Your workouts are fantastic! and people have already commented on how much slimmer i look. (one friend whom i havent seem in those two weeks was speechless).
I’m not overweight, but I wasn’t where I want to be either. Wow this is such an accomplishment! Your site really works, and I am so thankful. I’ve been trying to slim down for 2 years and it’s finally a success!! This is amazing! I’ve never lost more than 2 pounds in one month. Wow.

Thank you so much! keep up the intense workouts! You’re such an inspiration!
By the way, this workout made me drenched. I think i was melting too hahaha

  • La

ooh, can your first few hundred loyal followers be in it?! lol, crowded DVD

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv Tania

    Hey Guys!

What a kick ass workout! Zuzana love your new smile :) Sean glad to see you are still going to work out. The two of you working out together really kicks your site up a few notches. Love ya! Hey Freddy lets see you “Do It”. Up for the challenge?

  • Adrienne

Wow, did you really have to bring that negativity to this site? Zuzana and Sean are in friendly competition! Sure, men are stronger than females genetically, but by no means better athletes! Snap out of it and see the humour in it! My boyfriend and I race each other all of the time! It really baffles me, and I’m sure lots of other Zuzana/Freddy/Sean fans out there that people have the nerve to write negative comments on a FREE site. Thank you to the three of you for all of your hard work. We all appreciate it more than you know.

  • TS

    Yeah, seriously.
They’re workout buddies making a workout video. You’re seeing problems that don’t exist.

  • Squirrel

Some ideas for your workout names
    - Fat meltdown
(this is actually called plagiarism as it was Freddy’s idea ;)

    - Feel the burn
(this one is dedicated to Sean ;)

    - Keep it harder, better, stronger, faster (I love this song from Daft Punk and often listen to it over and over when working out with you guys)

    - Work Hard Play hard

  • Elvira

That’s the one thing that’s so great about interval training. You go at your own pace but still get great results!

  • Lvette #1

Welcome back to Canada guys. Was this a planned move or sudden?

To add to James Hankins comments, I really hope there are no zombies followers of this site. People should be smart enough to use commonsense when doing the routines on this site. People should listen to their bodies; there are no rules that say one needs to push as hard as the presenters in the videos. I started doing the routines on this site since February 2010 and so far I am injury free, even my nagging groin injury from running has healed. I now do just the routines on this site 5days per week, except last Thursday I did a weighted workout I made up. So, people workout but do listen to your bodies.

Whew, here is my score..total time 15:24

    Part 1: 2:15
    part 2: 10/9, 25/23, 22/20,25/25
    Part 3: 2:23

Thanks guys for another great workout.

  • http://asugarhigh.blogspot.com Jess

    I just finished it!
I’m POURING sweat! I definitely earned a shower.
    Here’s my score:
    Part 1- 5:36
    Part 2-Push up/knee tucks- 11,14
    Step ups right- 34,33
    Step ups left- 34,31
    Plank knee tucks- 40,39
    Part 3- 4:11

I managed to push through the push ups in part 1 without cheating! For part 2 I changed the interval to 15/45 to give myself a little more time to write my scores. Even with 5 seconds less to work with it was still a very instense workout!
Very good, I enjoyed it a lot! Thanks!

  • Mickela

Welcome back to North America. glad all went well and you are all back to your brutal routine.
I have been making up my own brutal workouts while you were moving. I have to say that I have improved an awful lot since I started working out with the 2 now 3 of you.
I wanted to agree with you that you pushing yourselves even harder has really brought out a competitive edge in me.
I will do this workout tomorrow since I have already done a 5 mile run , push ups and bicycle crunches plus a tabata run. then cool down walk.

I do have to Agree with James Hankins regarding pushing yourselves. I was already in excellent shape for someone my age when I started working out with Bodyrock.tv, I had reached a point where my workouts were not doing much for me and I started training with Zuzana.

listen to your body, stretch after each workout and do rest.

I am looking forward to working out with you guys.
bring it on am ready :-)

  • Lvette #1

I was going to ignore the comment from GSS, but I just couldn’t. Gss, if you’re finding subtle feminist nuances in the videos, you might just be insinuating your personal views into the videos.

I know Sean & Frederick don’t find Zuzana’s friendly competition with them a blow to their masculinity. I also compete with my husband. I kick his ass in cardio and in pull ups/push ups he wipes the floor with me. And each day we both push harder to do better where we’re lacking. No feminine or masculine feathers are ruffled.

Okay, I’m done for the day.

    Cheers to everyone.

    zuzana,
when i found out about my ex kissing one of my girlfriends i totally freaked out about it.
for weeks i was out for revenge and thought about a way of letting him pay for this.
well, i found out he’s trying to lose weight, so i started sending him your workouts and whenever he wrote me that he alomost died trying to compete with you, my inner devil tells me that revenge is sweet.
thanks for letting him pay for it!!!!

I was that surprised in the morning when I read that you have moved again!! But I really like your new home (as far as I can see it in the video ;-)). Working out outside is in my opinion much more fun!!

So, after two days of exhausting training with my dog, I though felt strong enough to work out this morning. I did this workout and here are my results:

    PART 1: 4,25 min

    PART 2:

    1. Elevated Push Ups with Knee Tucks: 8,5 – 9
    2. Step up – left leg: 39 – 37
    3. Step up – right leg: 43 – 40
    4. Reverse Knee Tucks: 26 – 28

    PART 3: 4,08 min

    then I added a PART 4 ;-): 4 rounds 10s/50s Jumping Jacks
and a PART 5 consisting of 15 Hanging Leg Raises ;-)

Today’s workout was great and I really enjoyed it! So thanks again for that…and I really would love to see Freddy working out :D!!

    Best wishes!

  • Moooingcow

We missed you guys while you were traveling. Wonderfully done video as always. And, Zuzanna, there is always the Ms (Mrs) Fitness competition you would do very well in in the US.

BTW, I love the house. You guys are all great! And, Frederick, even though we don’t see you too often, you’re great too!

  • Isabella

Brutality! The explosive push-ups in the first part made me want to give up! lol.
    Part 1: 3:06
    Part 2: Couldn’t count. =P
    Part 3: 2:37
I need someone to workout with me. So much fun!

    Hi Everyone,

Wow this workout looks awsome, cant wait to try it.

I just did a workout today that I made up which has 400 reps, so I called it the 400 rep Fiesta workout.

It was super tough, but fun; here it is if anyone is interested. I get so many good workouts from people sharing their workouts, so I thought I would share as well.

    Repeat the following 4 times:

    1. Pushup in plank with alternate arm/leg lift–10 reps

    2. Ninja tuck jumps-10 reps

    3. Bicycle–20 reps

    4. Pistols—-5 on each leg

    5. Pullup then knee raise–10 reps
(each pull=1 rep and each knee raise=1 rep, so its just like 5 pullups and 5 knee raises just mixed together)

    6. Jump rope with high knees–40 reps

I hope someone tries this because I just loved it and it only took me 22:52 to complete it.

Thanks for all the great workouts Zuzanna and crew, I have never been in this good of shape in my life!!

  • Azier-’di

OMG…….I know it’s been awhile since I last posted. I took sometime off to get myself back together. I just graduated (YAY ME) with my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/Pre-law and a minor in American Indian Studies. I was just so tied up in studying for exams which is still no excuse but I’m back. I just finished this workout and it was a killer…..I’m sweating which is a good thing. Since I’ve just started back my time was not that good :-(
    Round 1: 6:43
    Round 2: 6/7 19/19 19/19 26/29
    Round 3: 5:24

I’m glad to be back with you guy’s…I love all the workouts. You guy’s are awesome!!! I’m glad you made it to Canada safely :-)

  • Rach

haha god that bloke is mad!!! But interesting!

  • Dakota D.

    Hi Everyone!

Thank you Zuzanna for being such an inspiration to me. My body is changing and I know that I am definitely stronger mentally and physically because of these workouts.

To be honest, these workouts are like therapy to me. When I’m pushing and pushing myself, my body is being pushed past its limit…forcing it to get stronger in order to take the next beating. I have to use my MIND to complete the workouts that push me past my limits; otherwise my body would have quit a long time ago. This is what makes me a stronger person.

Sometimes, a particularly difficult workout really beats me inside and out – but I keep coming back and keep working to get stronger.

I know that that’s how it is for a lot of other Bodyrockers out there, Keep it up! You are all an inspiration to me.

    Keep getting Stronger everyone!
& Thank you once again Bodyrock.tv

This workout is incredible, my arms are still shaking. I did sports for about 10 years now( running marathon, cycling, doing regular sit ups…) but now I think I never did sports until I found your site. Can’t believe how your workouts work and shape my body. Looking forward to your next workout…
    Thanks so much!!!

  • Simone

    Oh, one more:

    Workout that works ;-)

  • Shariberri

    Hey guys,

I have to say that it was hard for me to buy into only working out for 20ish minutes (at first). I dabbled around in these workouts here and there for a few months all while I was running 6-10 miles 2-4 days a week and lamenting on how slowly I was seeing results. I finally gave in and have been following your workouts religiously for the past 4 weeks and not only have I toned up, but I share your site to my friends and even strangers–I really don’t have enough good things to say about this website. Thank you!!

Here are my results for today:

    Part 1: 5:15
Part 2: Apparently, I can’t read. I initially was going to do 8 rounds (each exercise 8 times) but stopped after round 4 for time purposes. :P
    8/3/9/10; 25/27/25/20; 25/22/23/21; 23/36/30/35
    Part 3: 5:43

    Keep ‘em coming!

I understand the men can’t compare with women in cold water distance swimming, like the English Channel, but perhaps women just have a certain mental toughness and determination that compensates for their lack of fitness? What is fitness? Ever see male contortionists who can come close to women? Each body has its own elegance, beauty, balance and unique design. It would be a sad and boring world if we all were born perfectly identical. Maybe you should stop watching Zuzana and Sean and switch channels to mixed martial arts so you can enjoy what men clearly excel at. I’ll stick with Z and S. They rock!

  • Kevin

Great site, and fantastic workouts! I haven’t successfully finished a full workout, but I feel very energized by what I’ve followed thus far.

    Thanks!

  • http://www.janetspreiter.com Janet

I’d love to watch you “walk your talk” and send in a video of yourself doing this workout so we can see what male strength and fitness is all about.

  • MERCY

Sean looks so pale afterwards! This looks like a grueling w.o.. I’m ill with acute bronchitis and it really hurts cause i’m also asthmatic. It’s been 2 1/2 wks, already and i so miss working out. A name for the workouts, how about-BATTLE OF THE BULGE, DRILL ME TO THE GROUND, HOT TO TROT, SWING HIGH SWING LOW, CRY ME A RIVER OF SWEAT.

  • Jax

    Zuzana:
Keep rocking those subtle feminist nuances…What a jerk

  • Samantha

Will you post your scores soon please? It’s helpful to have them to work towards. Thanks!

  • http://www.aimeecollections.com tanyshka

    Wow, I’m such a blonde!
I couldn’t understand why it took me twice as long as everyone else to do this… in part 2, I put 32 rounds instead of 8, thinking it was 8 rounds of each exercice.
It made the jusm lunges that much more dificult ;)

I got through rounds 1 to 6 when I almost puked.
Well it was a hell of a workout! those push ups are soooo hard to do!

Welcome back to Canada, you’re back just in time for the nice weather!

  • Vicky

    Hi Z/F/S,

This workout is now my favourite one.. just completed it in 19.17 min :)Part 1 was a killer! I love your brutal wowrkouts that beat me into a pile of pulp :)

  • Sinder

First off, Welcome to Canada, I am born and raised and am so excited you’re here. :D Such inspiration.

Can’t wait to get back into the daily’s with you Zuzanna

  • lena

i just finished this workout and am drinking my chocolate milk before i go take a shower. for some reason this one didn’t seem as intense as some of the other workouts to me. my scores were
    Part 1: 3:52.4
    Part 2: 13,15 and 29,29 and 28,31 and 43,45
    Part 3:2:17.2
I think it didn’t feel as intense to me because i did regular push ups instead of explosive (my arms aren’t strong enough yet) and regular push ups instead of elevated. thank you though!

  • Ivette

I see a lot of good song titles as work out names. I’ll add a few:
Brickhouse; Rump Shaker; Come, Baby Come; Work that Thong; Super-Freak; Count Touch This; Your Body is a Wonderland; Burning Up; Whip It…

    Hope to see these soon!
    xo

  • Roxy

Where in Canada did you move? Any chance it’s Vancouver?
I am going to Vancouver for summer….

  • Lia

This is going to be a stupid question but what exactly does 8 rounds of 2 intervals mean?

  • Chris K.

    Gss,

Your post deserves the symbol of failwhale. If you don’t appreciate what’s being done here, then go back to your Richard Simmons videos instead of trolling off on some rant about how God made Adam before Eve. We’re all well aware of the differences between a man and a woman, but thanks anyways for your useless input.

  • http://www.bodyrock.tv Tania

    Zuzana,

I have a question about the mountain climber exercise. I notice that you permit your foot to touch the ground when your leg comes forward (sort of a tap). I have always done by mountain climbers as a high knee jump where my leg remains suspended in the air as it reaches forward. Is your execution the correct way or is either acceptable?

  • Mirna

I discover you about two weeks ago and I just love you guys already. Zuzana you are an amazing woman a truly inspiration god bless you always ,keep up the good work your workouts are incredible & intense they kick my butt LOL!! Thank you!

  • Rod

How about Zombie-maker Workout for this one and for the past one, I’d call it the Instant Melt-down Workout

  • Vivian Leps

    Hi guys,

Your workouts are totally out of this world. I started in March this year and have great results. I am also a past trainer and have been doing the workouts 6 days a week and sometimes train with a few ladies. I am 46 years old and I have actually been working out all my life, but the body I am getting now is one I have always wanted. I am 5ft 3 and 115 lbs but so much leaner now I am so happy I found your site. Keep up the fantastic job and thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting me where I am today and I definitely will push myself as far as I can go.

  • Rod

Zombiemaker for the look on Zuzana and Sean’s faces after the workout and Instant Meltdown because of Fred.
Hope this ones win the name contest

I love when Sean does the workouts with you ^^
This one was so hard. I wanted to just give up at the end >.< But I managed to pull through in 20 minutes and some seconds.

p.s. You guys are awesome =D

Insane workout! My arms feel like jello!

    Part 1: 4:59
    Part 2: 13/8, 27/24, 25/21, 36/37
    Part 3: 2:56
    Total: 15:55

Thanks so much! Love the new place ;)

  • Shannon

I did the workout and couldn’t finish ;(. I quit after the 2nd round of part 3 because I thought I was going to vomit. Great workout!

    I’m glad you’ve added Sean!

    Canada Rocks!

  • http://mariemolinski.blogspot.com Marz

I thought this one was hard, altho i completed the rounds in 4:30 mins…I will be jogging aswell as I’m used to longer workouts, these are good, but i feel like i haven’t done enough unless i workout like an hour or so a day, but thats just me :P
I completed the Insanity program, & he does lots of interval training & its also all body weight excersises very similar to the ones you are doing, except for the pull ups & such. But I like variety so I enjoy your workouts very much. Keep it up. Honestly, no offense but some of the names are just halarious…hehe..but yeh great stuff :P Cheers
Glad I’m not the only “workout freak”.hehe

  • Anna Banana

8 rounds of two intervals means this: 50 sec working out, 10 sec rest, then another 50 sec work, 10 sec rest, etc. 8 rounds of that 50 sec + 10 sec combination. does that make more sense?

  • Karina

As the other people says. Looks like a hard workout. Im really looking forward to try alot of your workouts.

Maybe I have some ideas for names to the workouts:
    Body touchdown
    Body Smash
    Kick muscels
    Muscels breakdown
and i think also that fat meltdown sounds good. :) Take care. look forward to the next movie

  • Ann

    Hi Zuzana,Freddy & Sean,
Been wondering where you guys are :) Welcome back home!! I’m glad that Sean will continue working out with you. It’s so nice to have someone push you into next level. I’m waiting for my husband to jump in work out with me LOL.

  • mag

congratulations for back to your place!
and the workout it is just GREAT, i will do it in a minute :D
Zu! I have a questiooon, you said that in your breackfast, now you are eating fruits and no more oatmeal, almonds, or bread but how much fruits are you eating? like one banana?, or maybe 2 fruits?

how many fruits do you eat in one day?

and in your others meals you said that now you are eating less meat, and more veggies and salad, but for example in you lunch the portion of some veggie is bigger than the portion that you used to eat about I don’t know maybe chicken?. do you understand me?,

and guys are you working out everyday now?

    thank you so much guys!

and SEAN i love your laughter ! haha is highly contagious haha =)

  • Alys

I’m happy because the shop in your fashion haul will be now acessible ! :P

Your workouts are amazing thank you so much, i’m a trainer in a “Énergie Cardio” and your workout really inspire me !!!

    Hey Zuzana,

Just wanted to say I am loving your workout combination with Sean, I just hoped we could see Freddie too. But really Sean is bringing a lot of freshness to the daily workouts.

  • Ashley

I’ve done both and i feel like the one without the touch works your lower abs more and when you tap in between you work your legs more.

  • jfdsl

I could tell this house didn’t look like the middle east. We are glad to have you back home

Also I dont know who all the people in the video are, are the camera man and the exercise man brothers? Maybe introduce the actors at the video start

  • Audra

    Part 1: 4:46 (cursing)

    Part 2:
    ElevPushUpKneeTuck: 9-5
    StepUP Left: 36-30
    StepUp Right: 36-30
    ReverseKneetucks: 30-40

Part 3: 4:06 (cursing some more)

I definately have a love/hate relationship with these workouts. I Hate the torture but, Love the extreme results & my muscles get a great pump afterwards. So far I’ve kept off the 20 lbs my body has lost since November doing just your workouts 4-5 days a week. I wish I could be there to workout with you guys!

  • Ashley

    AMAZING!
loved it you guys are awesome.

    Part 1- 4:55

    Part 2-
    elevated push-ups- 21, 21
    step up right- 25, 24
    step up left-25, 24
    reverse knee tuck- 34, 38

    Part 3- 4:05

    total time: 18 min exactly!

  • Kitty

I did this workout today. It was very intensive!
    Part 1 Time = 5:07:83
    Part 2
#1. 10/10 (I was so depleted from the push ups in part one that I just stopped at 10 reps even though I had about 15 seconds left)
    #2. 32/30
    #3. 33/31
    #4. 44/45

    Part 3 Time = 2:29:45

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these short brutal workouts. Thank you so much!!!

  • Ashley

    i mean 13 minutes!!! haha

  • http://n/a Tanya

That was a dripping sweat workout. Explosive push-ups after the third round became too heavy a load, but I struggled all the way to the end.
Elevated push-ups with knee tucks were also very challenging – I’m still sweating like hell.
6 minutes 14 seconds for the first part.
8 minutes for the second, and
5 minutes 21 seconds for he third

Thanks so much – as usual – for another kick-butt workout. :-)

  • http://n/a Tanya

    Part 2 reps:
    1. 9/7
    2. 30/29
    3. 29/25
    4. 34/34

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=506344676 Jenny

So yah this is the first time I thought i was going to throw up doing one of your workouts, haha. I had to take a break at the very end doing the mountain climbers and jump lunges. I got dizzy and lightheaded and thought i was going to puke lol so i sat down for a little bit and tried to get my heart rate down. I was DRIPPING with sweat.

Even though it almost killed me, thanks for the awesome workout!! Defiantly one of my favorite ones. :)

  • f.

actually i bet zuzana could do more push ups than sean or frederick if she really wanted to, because she isn’t afraid to prove that women CAN be strong. it’s wrong to compare the fitness of people to how many push ups you could do; it’s really how far you’re willing to push yourself mentally and physically for the acheivement.

and it’s true that sport rankings are compared differently between men and women. but have you notived that when you put the two together it makes the women push harder? if all women had confidence(like zuzana) in themselves and didn’t believe in the “we can’t do this because we are girls” bs, then there would be a fair competition between the girls and boys.

men are stronger, but that is because the girls have learned to think that they are weaker.

  • d.

is zuzana still planning to write a book? i thought that that was mentioned in the comments awhile ago..

  • rose

hi guys!!nice to see you back in canada!!!!!!!yae!!!!!just a question……how do you guys move back and forth so many times??with dogs???wow.! i HATE moving!!just moving down the street does my head it, so how do you cope with the travelling and moving and WHY so much moving around if you dont mind me asking??
hope your babies are recovering from the stress of flying!!
    :)
    oh yeah…….ps.-nice workout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    xoxo

  • Roq

    Hi Frederick,

I think it’s great that you are thinking about making a DVD. I thought I would mention the matrix format. I don’t know if you know what it is, but it’s a feature that gives the viewer the opportunity to customize his/her workouts. I know about the feature from Shiva Rea yoga DVD’s. From reading on amazon (dot) com it seems that this feature has evolved somewhat. I only have one DVD with her so I don’t know what the difference is. It just gives the viewer a lot more options which is just great :-)

  • Roq

I must agree with Chris that this is an utterly useless input. These videos are about pushing yourself. To strive for excellence. One should not settle for mediocrity, male or female. That’s what most people do unfortunately. It doesn’t really matter whether males are stronger or not. It’s about mental toughness and to become the best that you can be. A friendly competition is just a tool you can use to push yourself to new heights while having a lot of fun along the way.

  • Roq

    Hi Antonia,

I know you want Zuzana to answer your question and she might do that. Never the less I think I want to chime in and tell you not to put yourself down like this. You seem to understand it perfectly. In the first part of the workout you do 6 rounds, each round consisting of 10 High Knees and 10 Explosive Push Ups. You try to finish these rounds as fast as you can. No break in between rounds. After you finish you move on to the second part of the workout, finish that off and finally move to the third and final part which is constructed the same way as the first part. Use a timer and the next time you do the same exercise, try to beat your time, i.e. move even faster :-)

  • Rea

    Hi Z,

This comment just made me think about how fortunate we are, that you, Freddy and Sean have opened up your lives to us, sharing not only your knowledge and experience with healthy lifestyle and fitness, but also letting us in on more private stuff like your dogs, your family, your daily life and your home.

I am a really private person and I don’t know if I would be able to cope with the inquisitiveness, so I do not take that for granted…

  • Liz

    Part 3: 4:10

Just tried your workout…killer! Can’t wait to try the next one :)

  • Antonia

    gss,

nope your wrong, at my gym there are two fitness trainers, Jason and Andy and they both have boot camps and do stuff like this in the boot camp…Jason and Andy ARE bothe lifters as well and Jason was a wrestler since first grade. HE and Andy were impressed when I showed them Zuzana on thier coomputer and Jason explained to me that he was not at her level because it is a different kind of stregnth and I understood what he meant although he could lift more he didnt have the endurance of her not the agility. I am quite sure Sean is not at her level as of yet and he has stated it before that its new too him…there is nothing wrong from learning from a woman and seeing a woman in such an unsual sport not common …the personal trainers at my gym stood impressed, made me see that humiliy is a good manly trait to have.

  • Antonia

    HI Gss,

I posted a comment to you in a wrong spot, please find under Antonia, I have like three now and one is too you, thanks.

  • Chris K.

20-30 minutes a day is hardly overtraining =P

Arnold Schwarzeneggar working out for 4-5 hours a day is probably closer to overtraining, but even he turned out alright.

  • http://www.facebook.com/#!/Pisana?ref=profile Pavlina

Hi all, my results are as follows:

    1) 3min 50sec
    2) 1. 10/9
    2. 30/30
    3. 28/31
    4. 40/41
    3) 3min 21sec

The dynamic push ups and the jump lunges absolutely killed me! I cheated on the push ups a bit towards the end as I couldn’t go all the way down so I was stopping only halfway.

Second, Sean’s arms seem leaner, the muscles seem to look way more elongated… well done!

Third, I’m missing some exercises or particularly the kettle bell swings, are we likely to get some soon, trainer (aka Zuzi)?

Lastly, Freddie, here are some suggestions for workout names for you:

    - Shake Like a Leaf Workout

    - Mean Lean Workout
    - Proud Sexy Warrior Workout

So, that’s what’s wrong with me then. I have been wondering why I’m so sick after one of Zuzana’s workouts. I’m use to doing hours of cardio, but never felt like this before.

  • ALICIA

I have a workout name idea:
“Cry like a Bitch” like after the Godsmack song

    And, I’m down 10 LBS!!!

  • Caroline

    Hey guys!
Your workouts are great! I’m working on my abs, butt and legs for 5 days and my belly is disapearing! But there’s something – i eat so much more than before and I can’t control myself because I need energy for workouts. What are you doing if you’re really hungry or maybe you have special diet. I want to start eating only fruits and veggies (now I’m vegetarian) but sweets won’t let me do it :(
    Thanks a lot!

PS. Sorry for my english if it isn’t correct :P

    Hello from Tacoma,

First time for an old-timer: turning the big 50 in December.

    Part 1: 3:53

    Part 2: pushup/knee tucks 10/11
    Step ups L. 20/21
    Step ups R. 22/22
    Reverse knee tuck: 37/40

    Part 3: 5:41

Wow… that was a rush. Nice change from weights. Definitely bodyrocked me.

    Ciao Bella,

    David

  • Jessica V.

Brutal! I was amazed at how quickly I got this one done and how much I was sweating like a pig. But I reached my goal and I matched Sean’s time!

    Part 1: 3:76
    Part 2:
    1. 13/12 (I almost couldn’t get through these push-ups and knee tucks)
    2. 30/30
    3. 30/28
    4. 20/16
    Part 3: 3:39
    Total time: 15:15!!!!

I didn’t realize that 2 jumps counted as one rep for the mountain climbers, but I did get a little lost on my rounds for the last part, so I did 2 extra rounds for good measure.

Thanks for this workout–a great start to the day!!

    –Jessica

  • Luisa of LA

try to get their techniques and keep it up. You’ll see the result before knowing it. I just started following their workout less than 2 months but I’m seeing some definition and toning in my body but didn’t lost weight that much yet. In addition, when you build muscle (not bulky, huh), it’s added to your weight. Fats is much lighter. Always go for the size of your clothes.

  • Luisa of LA

    Hi Pavlina,
Are you also doing kettlebell swing? I’m planning to add KB swing on my workout during my work lunch break. I will stick to swing for 30 sec work and 30 sec rest. Last week, I did 10 rounds of that. Please share if you have some KB routine. I also like Zu, Sean and Frederick if they can design a routine using kettlebell that can give us a good result. By the way, I have 20 lbs, 35 lbs and 45 lbs… I’m just using 20 lbs for now.

  • Luisa of LA

    Congrats! :)

  • Luisa of LA

OMG! The way I read all the blogs, it’s another intense workout!!! I will do this training as soon as I’m done hitting ‘enter’ to post it. I’ll get back and say my comments how was it and maybe try to share my idea to name this routine. As always, we missed you guys (Zu, Sean, Fred), when you’re not in a lime light. Welcome back!… :)

  • Luisa of LA

    Hi all.
Here’s my stat. I agree to everybody, it’s indeed hard. I almost not make it. I struggled and almost blow out in my last 2 sets. :P
    Part 1 = 6:00.09 – i know kinda long.. it’s hard for me.
    Part 2
    1. 13-7
    2. 32-30
    3. 31-27
    4. 31-22
Part 3 = 6:36.15 – almost vomit in my last 2 sets but I managed to force myself. :P
    It’s a killer.
Thanks again. It’s hard but I feel SO good! :)

  • Krys

    Yikes killer workout but was up to the challenge thanks again!! What province did you guys move to in Canada, heh just curious? :}

  • Krys

I’m a bodybuilder as well and have been doing it for 10 years. These workouts are amazing for defining your muscles and cardio enhancement like you ve never know. I thought I was in great shape doing heavy weights all the time but when I tried these I realized I had a long way to go. Anyhow I ve found its leaning me down nicely and I ve always had trouble with that with just weights, so I guess it depends on your personal goals for your own body.

  • Elthea

Yes Nathalie, she does all her stuff at home, never goes to gym, and this videos she posts is the only excerscise she does every day with us!! :-))

Hi Zuzanna and Sean! I am a really big fan of your workouts and exercises. I think I’ve seen all your workout videos and now I’m getting better. And I have one request. Can you guys do some partner exercises such as squats with partner on shoulders, pony raises, push-ups with partner on back, etc. So that I can compare your results with me and my partner’s results. Much love! You guys are awesome!

  • Ben

Jeezus, guys. I did 5:30 on parts 1 and 3, and forgot to count in the middle *blush*. How did yuo do all those push-ups?! My pecks are like killing me now.

It’s my first time visiting bodyrock.tv
I’ve been looking for at-home workouts and I love your workouts! Thank you so much!!

  • PhilLinda

I’ve been doing your workouts since April 1, I usually can only do 1 to 2 rounds. Last 2 days I’ve done all rounds of the workouts. And I thought I was great shape.
I did this work out and the “Kiss My Abs” workout.

  • Jaz

    You guys move a lot!

I’ve been enjoying the addition of Sean to your videos. Watching this, it’s kind of nice to see you guys struggling and really pushing yourselves, even after you were clearly exhausted. That’s definitely going to motivate me not to wimp out.

  • Jaz

I tried this workout this evening. Now, I haven’t been keeping up with my workouts like I know I should, so I didn’t expect to be able to keep up. I wanted to try, though. I was a mess just a few minutes in! I will have to come back to this workout after I get my strength back and try it again. I’ll get there, eventually! I was right, though. Seeing someone else persevere gave me something to keep me going! Thanks!

  • Rainee

    Hey Guys,

I’m here in St.Petersburg, Russia. I’m an American citizen here on a writing assignment. I don’t speak much Russian and the people are not too friendly so I spend a lot of time by myself in the city or in my small communal apartment room. Can’t wait to get back to the States! However, your workouts inspire me and I feel really good when I complete them. I have a small space to work with and can only use my bodyweight and this 16kg kettlebell that I have. And Zuzana…I’m glad your always doing your best to outdo the guys… I grew up with four boys, being the only girl, I had to wrestle, run, and play like a boy or be left out…now I’m functionally stronger than a lot of guys, but still feminine…always feminine. :) Keep up the motivating work! Thanks.

  • Zoe

Love you guys – so glad Sean is doing the workouts with you – definitely looks like you’re pushing harder – good to see you guys struggling – gives inspiration to us mere mortals out here – I LOVE YOUR WORKOUTS – THANK YOU!

    Hi Guys!

Zuzana when you first started working out did you do longer workouts to get your results and then now are maintaining? I am in pretty good shape and do long intense workouts. I love what you are doing and you look great but I am having a hard time thinking that I will get results with such short workouts. Also, a lot of your exercises are awkward. Any tips?

  • Taryn

This is SUCH brilliant news! Thank you… :)

    Hello Saun and Zuzana,

I have completed the Sexy Cool Hot Workout three times. My total times are in sequence, from the first time I did it to the third time, as follows: 15:95 min., 12:53 min. and 16:08 min. So, I need more consistency I guess :) Thank you for the workouts!

p.s. This is my first comment :) wooohooo :)

  • Lo

This is byfar the hardest one of your workouts that I’ve done! And I had to modify it because I just couldn’t do that many pushups! I could only finish 4 of the last 6 reps of the third part, though I’m surprised I managed to do that, I felt like I was going to vomit or something. Phew! Verrryyy sweaty but I’m so happy I did it. It feels great to just sweat sometimes!

Now it’s definitely time for a shower!

  • Nisey

OMG! I LOVE THIS WORKOUT! In one day, I’ve already shaved a minute off the times areas, added 2 pushups, and 15 leg lifts!!!

  • caesar

this was a really hard one. thank you very much for this workout. it really burns. you guys are simply great

  • Marija

    Hi guys,
this workout was amazing!! I didn’t think it would be that challenging, it just didn’t seem that way, but it kicked my butt!!
Mountin Climbers + Jump Lunges combination at the end of a workout is a killer! I really thought i won’t make it, but i pushed myself and managed to complete it, which in return made me feel great!
So thank you guys for being an incredible inspiration and sharing with us such amazing workouts! :)

  • Anonymous

I re-did this workout today, and I managed to beat my PB and I’m so thrilled!!! :D
The m. climber – Lunge combo in 3rd part is pure brutality!!! I thought I’m gonna fall on my nose during the last round, but I made it! :)

  • Anonymous

I chose this one today – so short but intense ;)
I beat my PB today by far for part 1 & 3. As to part 2, I did improved the PU and reversed knee tuck by 1 to 2 reps but was blow my PB for the step up :(
Here is my score today compared to my PB back in January
    Part 1: 3’50″ (4’37″ in January)
    Part 2:
Elevated PU: 12/13 (12/12 in January)
    Step up: 34/36 (R) – 34/36 (L) (38/39 – 37/40 back in January)
Reverse knee tuck: 38/44 (40/40 in January)
    Part 3: 3’29″ (3’33″ in January)

The dynamic PU started to get harder around the 4th round, the steps up were brutal as well and the lunges at the end just killed me!

I’ve been sympathising with this one for ages, finally I had the time to check it out. It is a short but truly brutal workout, I loved it.

    I completed Part 1 in 4’28″, Part 3 took me 3’42″.
My scores for Part 2 were:
Elevated push up knee tucks: 10, 11 (after the first round’s 10th push up I fell off the chair I was so dead)
    Step up (left): 36, 40
    Step up (right): 39, 39
Reverse knee tuck (knee grinders – what did I do wrong?): 29, 31

Tomorrow I’ll do today’s “Just did it” workout (http://www.bodyrock.tv/2011/07/15/just-did-it-workout/) I just need to figure out what to replace the fitness ball with.

Woohoooo! I didn’t only beat my old PB but I did beat @d7086caed004c5dcd963452cb7f1e9c5:disqus ‘s step ups as well. How many fellow BodyRockers can brag with that? :-D My head is one big wide grin from ear to ear, I’m so happy and proud of myself. So the exact scores are:
    Part 1: 3’10″ (old score: 4’28″)
    Part 2:
    – Elev PU knee tuck: 16 | 16 (was: 10 | 11 – what a progress!)

First workout after being sick with a bad cold for about five days! It felt good, but I don’t think I pushed completely at 100%, I’ll definitely have to work back up to that.

    Part 1: 4:05
    Part 2:
    elevated pushups/knee tucks: 9, 6
    step up left: 21, 20
    step up right: 21, 18
    reverse knee tucks: 43, 44
    Part 3: 1:56

Even without pushing completely at 100%, this was a butt-kicker! Really good workout – I’ll have to do it again sometime to beat my PB.

I did this one again after Death to Fat…for some reason it doesn’t look super hard but it IS!!! AAAGGGH.  I finished it calling it Sexy NOT Cool. :)

But I beat my old scores for hte most part!  The only thing I didn’t improve on was the step-ups and the reverse knee tucks, but I think I was pretty beat from Death to Fat.

    part 2:
elevated push up knee tucks: 14-14
    step up L: 30-29
    step up R: 28-25
    reverse knee tucks: 33-32
    part 3: 3:30
