Hot To Trot Workout

Hi everyone,

Today’s workout is one of those that are super easy to follow and also great home workout because you don’t need any equipment. It is a bodyweight workout that you can do even if you have just a small space at home. The only thing that I am using is my Gymboss Interval Timer that I use in every one of my workouts, because it helps me to stay focus on my training instead of being distracted by keeping time.

This workout is made up of 2 parts. The first part of the workout is interval training and will target your core muscles. You will be going through 4 different exercises for the total of 4 minutes.  Set your interval timer for 6 rounds and two intervals. The first interval is 10 seconds and the second interval is 30 seconds long. You will repeat the following sequence twice:

1. Elbow Plank (10 second interval)

2. Reptile (30 second interval – complete maximum reps)

3. Elbow Plank (10 second interval)

4. Mountain Climber (30 second interval – complete maximum reps)

5. Elbow Plank (10 second interval)

6. Knee Tucks (30 second interval – complete maximum reps)

The second part of this workout is a time challenge that is going to really boost your metabolism and your goal is to complete these two exercises as fast as you can.

1. Monkey Push Up and Jump – 25 reps

2. Squat and Twist Jump – 25 reps

Repeat both parts of the workout one more time. I completed the time challenge in 4 minutes and 13 seconds in the first round. My time in the second round was 4 minutes and 46 seconds. This means that the entire workout took me 17 minutes and believe me – it was brutal! Check out the pictures of the exercises below and enjoy your workout.

Best,

Zuzana.

P.S. Don’t forget to check back for our new house tour video. It will be in the Life category shortly. Freddy is just finishing it up :)

  • Aude

    Hi Zuzana!

I’ve been following you since some months, and first of all I have to say that for me you seem to be a very great person, and I must say that you guys have changed my life.

I was asking me some questions, and I really want to ask them to you, so that it can help me – because I really think that I will start to work out and keep on working as long as possible. But to start I wanted to know :

When do you work out? (after breakfast? morning? afternoon? night? Or never the same…?)
When do you advise someone to work out then?
Do you like other sports? And do you practise them?

I hope you will have time to answer me.
And, I know that every comments you have say the same ; but I just wanted to add that if I had your will I think life would be easier for me! ^^ I’m just impressed by you, and I wanted to ask : do you realize that what you are doing is really rare and unique in a world of facility and junk food…?

Well, à bientôt , and good luck, write you soon!

    Aude

    • Frederick

Hi Aude – I was reading your comment so I thought that I would just jump in :)
We usually workout either in the morning or early evening – although there is no hard and fast rule. Life happens and we get it in when we can.
Zuzana and I love to hike, swim and boulder, we started to learn rock climbing and I am hoping to get in some skiing this winter.
Junk food – well like most people we each have a sweet tooth :)
      Best,
      Frederick

  • Ashley in Sweden

Sorry, I forgot to ask, do you count each reptile and knee tuck as one rep or the left and right leg together as one rep?

    • Frederick

Knee to one side is 1 rep.

  • mariam

    That’s a better hair style. ;)

  • Pop Popič

    and where is Sean?

  • Monica

    Hello Zuzana,

When I found one of your workout at youtube (sexy beast workout) I decided to give it a try for 2 weeks, and guess what? My tights got slimmer!, that was amazing for me. I have been working out with you approximately for 2-3 months and for the very first time in my life I wear a bikini and feel great with my own body specially after 3 children.

  • Philine

    Dear Zuzana,
I am a 18 year old girl an live in Hamburg, Germany.
I´m watching your videos probably since a half year. Since I am 15 I visit the gym 4 times a week, but when I discovered your workouts I switch up between them and the gym. They are absolutely great and after then I sweat like I have workouted for an hour in the gym. :) But unfortunetly until now I do not have the strengh for Pull ups. Could you maybe tell me another exercise, which i easier but work the samre group of muscles??
    That would be awesome!
Again I love your workouts and you and Freddy are absolutely amazing!!!
Please do not stop to do your videos ever!!!!
A lot of greetings from Germany,
    yours Philine ;-)

  • Angela

    Hi Zuzana,
you look great, as always!!! The workout is really good, but all your workouts are fantastic!
Where can I find the tour of your new house?
    Best wishes…Angela

  • Cyper

    Hey guys!

Congratulations on 2 years! I know a lot of people comment in a similar way to this, but I just wanted to thank you myself personally. I completed the 50-day no sugar challenge 2 days ago, but in fact I completed 51 days because I am waiting until today to celebrate with my partner, since he finishes his final (4th year) University exams today (I finished yesterday!).

I have always been in OK shape, but I was badly injured doing karate last year and I lost a lot of confidence. I’m so glad I found this website. I was able to train hard at home and now I am getting my confidence back. You are a constant inspiration, and you have clearly changed many peoples lives. I have struggled with depression in the past, but for the first time in years I can look in the mirror and not feel completely ashamed of what I see. Personally, I now look at food in a completely different way because of you. I am not where I want to be yet but I am definitely getting there! This morning I was 15.4% body fat, down from ~20% about 2 months ago, and I have bigger muscles than ever before.

Thank you so much for helping to bring my confidence back, for inspiring people to push hard and take up challenges.

Now that my exams are over, I can roam free in the sunshine. And for the first time in years, I’ll feel a bit more comfortable in my own skin.

I’m sure I speak for everyone here when I say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. So much.

  • maria

hey suzana! I just wanna ask you if you take any proteinshake after your workouts or are you just eating normal fool and fruits?? thank you:)

    • Ann

I’m wondering about this too :)

  • Alice :)

  • Tanya

Ouch! that looks like a real torture – I haven’t seen you SO ‘can’t-go-any-more’ EXHAUSTED!!! Must be a real thriller! It’s a pity I’ve already done my workout for today, but this one is my big prize for tomorrow!

BTW, where’s your fitness partner Sean? :-)

  • Evelina from Finland

Hello Zuzana & co. I was doing one of your older workouts yesterday “600 reps to a sexier body” and I’m so sore today! I was streching, and still everything hurst today :( Don’t you ever get sore after working out?

I’m gonnaa try this workout too, but not today xD Tomorrow!

Thank you for a great site!

  • http://livinglocal365.com/ Francine

Hi Zuzana, Freddy and Sean! I just want to say thank you for all of the time and effort that you guys have put into your site (i.e. the videos, the health articles, fitness tips, etc.) You three are truly an inspiration to me :) In fact, you have inspired me to become certified as a personal trainer, because helping others achieve increased health and fitness are truly my passions!

Zuzana, I was wondering with whom you got your certification as a fitness trainer (issa, acsm, nesta, etc.). I am in the process of looking into becoming a certified trainer, but I’m not quite sure where to begin. Any information that you, Freddy or Sean can provide would be very much appreciated!
    Thank yous!!

    ~Francine

    • Frederick

Hi Francine – Zuzana got her PT certification from ISSA :)

  • Marinaki

I love you Zuzana so much.

To say the truth I missed those days (like this one) when you were doing alone gym and then when you were sharing with us your thoughts about a theme (coffee talk).

It was and is GREAT doing gym with Sean, don’t take me wrong, new atmosphere, lot of fun, Sean is a great guy, amazing personality … just expressing my feelings because I am watching you from the beginning of your bodyrock and I missed those days. I have this feeling that you were more close to us and our hearts…

Keep it hard my lovely girl … :)

  • Mendij

    Dear Zuzana,

I didn’t know where to write this, so I wrote it here, even though I haven’t done this new exercise yet (but will do in an hour or so). Hope you don’t mind. :)
I’m 21 and I’ve been the skinniest girl I’ve known for my whole life. I got ”the skinny gene” from both of my parents, so I never had to do anything to stay thin, but nothing I did seemed to help me gain weight either.
Needles to say, because I was so skinny, I never had any strength, no muscles, nothing. Another problem I’ve had for years was low blood pressure and since I don’t drink coffee being useful on bad days was a really big challenge.
But then about a month ago my dad introduced me to your site. At first I was a bit skeptic about the whole thing, but I said I’ll give it a shot and now, one month later I am completely in love with your exercises and the results I’ve seen so far.
I have much less problems with the blood pressure, my energy levels have gone up, I probably don’t have much more physical strength, but I feel stronger and I’ve gained weight!!! Not much, but I’m seeing much more definition and shape to my body. It’s great. Thank you so much.

I only have one question, it’s my arms. They’re really weak. And by weak I mean weak as in I can’t do even one decent push up. So I was wondering if you or any of your followers have any useful exercise suggestions to strengthen them up.

    Thank you. You are amazing.

    Anja

    • Frederick

Hi – when we started the site Zuzana could not do a single push up either. As you do the workouts and modify the exercises to your current fitness level you will start to build strength. Try push ups from your knees to start :)

  • Britannia

    Wow wow wow!

I am indeed drenched in sweat! That workout looks so simple but VERY BRUTAL!

The 2nd part on round 2 I did it in 4 mins 3 seconds! So glad it’s over!

    Thanks for another fantastic workout!

  • Brigita

My prayers have been answered :D Few days ago I’ve been griping that I don’t have enough space in a flat to excercise. Ddd to this, there is no equipment outside so the only thing I can do to keep in shape is running (I hate running!). And here it is – a workout which is suitable for me. Thank you! I wish you post something similar in the near future :)

  • Oli

You were incredible as always :) Very nice brutal workout! And WE ALL thank you so much for your workouts and all work, that you are doing here for us! I am so glad, that I found your site! It changed my life and my thinking! I love the positive and personal way, you are doing this! Keep going, I would keep following you!

  • Charlie D.

Nice nice, really have to give my shoulders a ‘break’ today so this workout is great, thanks Zuzanna! Sean couldn’t join you today??
I will warm up now and than start with the Hot to Trot (whatever that may be..)

  • Cat

I just wanted to thank you. I have always been athletic and worked out at a gym most of my adult life. I was always in the gym for 1-3 hours busting out the heavy weights and killing myself with cardio. It’s always been easy for me to build muscle but hard to get real lean. After having kids I had just accepted that I would never be lean again. In the past year I started following your workouts religiously. I have had more results from following your routines than I have my entire life. I didn’t think it possible! I’m 36 and for the first time since having my 2 kids I’m very lean and in the best shape of my life. My husbands friends are always telling him I am “HOT” and my friends are constantly asking me what I am doing to get in such great shape. Thank you so much for showing me there is a better way to work out thank killing yourself mindlessly in the gym!!!!

  • Adriana

    Hey Z & F.

Will you be posting your results as well? It really helps me to push myself to do “just one more rep”

    Thanks,

    Love – A

    • Frederick

Hi – Zuzana was shouting out most of her reps in the video during the first round :)

      • Fleur

        Me too :D
Now I don’t feel so bad about disturbing my neighbors. With all the jumping and shouting. :)

  • Monifah

  • Amanda

That was a great workout! Well… all of yours are great, but I needed the focus on the core today.
Congrats on 2 years. I have been following for 8 months.

  • Zuzana

Just wondering, is it the lighting or do you go to the tanning salon? You used to be so pale in the recent videos. You look great, by the way, amazing muscle definition.

    Z.

    • Antonia

funny when people exaggerate…’soo pale’ lol. its called summertime, but I also wanted to know if she uses a tanner because I want one I am very fair and dont tan only freckles…

      • d.

        Antonia,
i don’t think that she uses a tanner, it’s probably just from being outside in the sun. but I don’t think you should get a tanner thing because they are so bad for you!! purposely getting tans is not healthy because they can give you terrible UV damage, cancer spots, moles, and future wrinkles. plus i think they are really expensive and are actually MORE damaging to the skin than actually being out in the sun. So just do a lot of activities outside while wearing sunscreen and you’ll get some color. freckles are pretty anyways, and just make up who you are so be proud of them ;)

i hope you took what i said, i really don’t want to sound mean or anything. :)

        d.

        • Antonia

          Hi d,

I took what you said very well and really apreaciate the advice and food for thought, I really was going to do the fake tanning thing and never did it before ..there is a place by where I live for 25 to get a spray tan. I had no idea the fake tans were hazardous, but makess sense. I will try to appreciate what I have a little more, thanks!

  • Daniel

    hey guys!

    Lots of love

  • Charmaine

Monkey push up and jump just reminded me of my old nemesis, the Ninja Jump Tuck! I’m still a little tender from my run & workout yesterday so I was super slow today, taking extra care to watch form so I don’t smack my head against the floor!

    Round 1:

    Reptile 20
    Mountain Climber 15
    Knee Tuck 19

    Part 2

Thanks for a great workout (and for getting the lactic acid moving away from my sore muscles!)

  • Charmaine

I forgot to say congratulations on 2 years, and thank you so much for kicking our butts, may there be many more years of the same ;)

  • FluidFreedom

Another great workout! Just finished and wanted to post my stats.

    Monkey Push-ups R1:25 R2:25

Second part of workout took me 6 minutes as I was struggling to get through all 25reps. I am melting as well and feel so energized after working out. You are really helping me get back into shape and I truly appreciate this site and all you do for your fans!

Any advice about push-ups as I struggle to get through them. I force myself to do it, but it is really hard.

    THANK YOU!

    HI ZUZU

Can I Ask You Something Sweet Zuzana (I Was Asking My self What This gorgeous lady Eats Every Day ? )

Could You Tell Us What You Prefer For the Training I’m waiting for the answer on tenterhooks.

    • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

      Hi Sinan,

I eat real food – fruit, vegetables, eggs, legumes, meat, whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, etc. I try to avoid process food as much as I can although it is not always possible. I eat small portions 5 – 8 times a day. I do have cravings for junk food and I eat chocolate, ice cream, french fries or sweat cakes every once in a while but always just a small amount. If I ask for an ice cream in a restaurant and they bring me a huge portion, I am able to enjoy just a few spoons and leave most of it on the table. I hope this helps :)

      • Cassidy

I wish i had the will power to do this! i would eat the whole bowl and then try to steal some from my fiance
        haha.

  • audrey

you have a lot of intersting and creative moves….like the monkey pushups.
which of you designs the workouts?

Just gotta say thnk you for this site…Thanks to you I have discovered a passion for physical fitness; I am now officially health obsessed and have never felt better! I do have a question about some random exersizes though; I have absolutely no balance and am about as graceful as a bull in a china closet…I have been trying to work on both ninja jump tucks and one legged squats, but I can’t do them without falling over; does anyone have any advice on how to improve my balance so I can do these? any response is greatly apreciated!! :)

    • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

      Hi Alicia,

Practicing these difficult exercises is what you need to gain balance and agility, there is nothing else that will help you to be better at these exercises other than practicing them on a regular basis.

    • ALL1E

Problems balancing could mean instability in your ankles…due to former sprains, hypermobility, etc. My left ankle isn’t as stable as my right–some days it’s worse than others–but by focusing to correct this & practicing as Zuzana said, balance poses are my strong point in yoga now. Even when you aren’t working out, practice balancing…say, brush your teeth standing on one foot…or while waiting in line…practice yoga balancing poses…pilates to strengthen core stabilizers which also effect how well we balance. You could also rig up a balance board, which is pretty cool, to work the stabilizing muscles of the ankle & core. Also, make sure your core is always engaged during the exercises you seem to fall over.

This workout kicked my butt… well… more like punched me in the abs. but same thing ;)

    you’re a machine Z

  • Kristin

I really appreciate how you explained how to do each exercise on this video. :)

  • http://webbadoption.blogspot.com Stephanie

    Great burn! Thanks!!

  • John

Thanks for the step by step instruction of the exercises at the end of the video. I do reptiles every now and then and was doing them incorrectly every time, I was not looking the knee into my side as you showed, no wonder I hated them every time I did them. I’ll be trying to beat your time in the 600 rep workout during my Friday workout and I’ll be putting this one into my rotation of workouts. Keep up the good work, you offer so much motivation!!!

Most of your comments deal with before and after effects of your training. Since you’re already in the advanced level of fitness I believe that it’s difficult to see how a subscriber can progress to your level. May I propose a solution? I think that it would be interesting to show an experiment with groups of people practicing your methods. For example, Group A would perform your exercises and maintain your diet while Group B would perform your exercises and eat junk food. This way your subscribers can see the results of diet and exercise assuming that junk food will slow down progress. An easier alternative may be to host a short visit with a preselected married couple. It be would nice to see someone like me, who is not fit, train with your team for two weeks. Perhaps, a married couple could win a prize to train with you and we could see the results. Subscribers could compare male vs. female progress of training with your team and view their personal struggles. Does this sound interesting?

  • Valerie

Could you put descriptions for the last 2 exercises?
Please :) I wont be near a computer for the next week and would really like to do this workout :)
    Thank you.

Hi! I love your workouts, I follow them and I witness great success and big changes in my body day by day! Can you please make a video where you could explain how to choose the right sport shoes for home workouts? I do not mean the brands, but some aspect of the shoe construction that is really important when doing various disciplines at home, especially the knee issues. I heard that if you choose the right shoes, it will help with your knees. What do you think? I am about to get new snickers and do not know which aspects should I consider. Thanks a lot in advance!

Happy Two Years Zuzana & Freddy! You’ve done an amazing job with this site–congratulations on your passion & success.

  • Micha

Thanks for another amazingly creative and intense workout!! My favorite move was the squat and twist jump – haven’t felt such burn from squats in a while if ever. I had to modify the monkey jump and pushups the second time around by breaking up the pushups and jumps and doing one set of just pushups and then just jumps. As for my time – I have no idea and highly doubt I could compete with you!!

By the way, welcome back to Canada!!! <3 Myself and two other friends of mine are so addicted to your site and the results we see and feel from your workouts. I've been doing them regularly for over one month and definitely look more toned all over with a sixpack on the way! lol I have been running for at least 5 years, and your workouts have helped me step up my running game like nothing else I've tried before. Thanks again :)

  • Jodie from Saskatchewan

Hey you guys! This workout was a killer! I decided to try a new salad today and it turned out great so I thought I’d share it with you. It was a nice variety as compared to the salads I have normally been eating. …almost reminded me of our Mexican holiday. It is a Healthy Avocado and Black Bean Salad.

2 cups lettuce (I used romaine)
    1 chopped avocado
    1 med-large tomato chopped
2/3 cup canned black beans, rinsed
    1/2 cup chopped cucumber
    1/2 cup canned corn
    1 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
    lots of green onion :)

    for the dressing i combined:
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp lime juice
    1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    1/4 tbsp lime zest
    sea salt
    ground black pepper

    Hope you like it!

  • Jodie from Saskatchewan

p.s. Happy Anniversary to BodyRock!! <3

Every day I get a message when I click on links that are on http://www.bodyrock.tv. The message I get is “Error establishing a database connection” :(

I’m trying to follow your workouts daily, so I do a lot of surfing on bodyrock.tv. Sometimes the links work, and sometimes not, but it drives me crazy when im ready to workout and have database troubles. :(

    Any advice?

Following your dreams and passion and inspiring. Thanks for helping me do the same!!!!

  • Magda

omg those monkey squats are killers!

  • Chelle

I just started following your workouts, and I love them. This one is my favorite so far. I love the ab routine!! Keep up the great work!! Oh, love the term “couching” I may have to use that one! :)

  • Christy

I’m fairly new to your website but have quickly become a big fan of Zuzana’s physique. I visit this site frequently to print out the workouts and do them in my garage. I had a baby 6 months ago and trying to get back in shape. I have used workouts like Shaun T’s Insanity and P90X. I noticed your workouts have a lot a similarities with Insanity. Zuzana, do you also workout with free weights? I know you do plyometrics and lots of cardio. I have vowed to try your workouts for the summer to see what kind of results I get….wish me luck! ;-) Zuzana, along with eating healthy and intense interval training, do you take any supplements or fat burners?

    • Frederick

Hi Christy – our house is a supplement free zone :)

  • Ana [Florida-Honduras]

    Hi Zuzana :)
I had a question, I’d really appreciate it if you could answer it, or anyone that might know.
You said, we have to repeat the whole workout twice, in the first part at the end..you said to repeat it again, so does that mean, we’d be doing the first part 3 times?

    Thanks.

    • Frederick

Hi Ana – It’s just the whole thing twice :)

      • Ana [Florida-Honduras]

        Okey Dokey, thanks :)

  • Jessica

This comment isn’t about the workout, as I haven’t tried it yet.

But this outfit has to be the cutest one I’ve seen you wear. Annnnd your hair looks great like this!

  • Mohideen

    Hi.
i’m following you for past few months. hope i get gud results of fat burning especially on waist :)

  • http://30bananasaday.com Windlord

just tracked total reps on the intervals (each leg switch counted as one, and upon vid review my SQ depth could have been much deeper) Redux in order!

Ah yes, and congrats on your anniversary.
Your 2-yr-young baby is quite the bouncing bundle of energy. Thx for all your efforts, Z and Freddy :)

  • Ann

I did this one today. It was short but really brutal. I got to taste my own sweat a lot( dont have enough time to wipe it off my face LOL ).I LOVE YOUR WORKOUT though, everyone of them :) My shoulders and thighs were on fire. Exellent core training!! Here is my score.

PS. I love your hair style today too.

  • sunny

Hi Zuzana, I was just wondering if you could post another new recipe on the website anytime soon? thanks

  • http://asugarhigh.blogspot.com Jess

I know I was supposed to do the whole workout twice but I thought just one round was good enough for me. If I had done a second round my form would have suffered. I’m in a sweat though, and my heart rate is up so just one round was perfect!
    My scores
    part 1:
    reptile- 24,29
    mtn climber- 25,23
    knee tucks- 23,21

    part 2: 4:18

Before this workout I thought my arms were pretty strong but those monkey push ups proved me wrong. I found it pretty hard to push hard enough to get back into squat position. Because of this I’ve decided to practice these push ups everyday to build more strength.
Thanks for the workout Zuzana :)

  • Nicole D Lopez

    Congrats on year two!

    Where’s Sean?

  • Renee

    Hi Zuzana,

You mentioned once in a video that you had a friend who practiced yoga. But you do your workouts everyday (everyday I think?)? Results for me are hard to come by, admittedly I don’t always eat the best but I have been eating a lot healthier with much more fresh foods than processed in the last month.

Do you think that alternating days of your workouts and yoga would be enough to get results?

Also, do you have any exercises that would be really good for developing forearm muscles? Mine are pretty weak and there is a yoga pose that I have been trying to do, but it requires quite strong forearm muscles but they are a muscle that I have NO idea how to work it out!

  • Deniska

    Ahoj Zuzanko,

I’m following you online uz asi pul roku…but, when I started…. zacala jsem s tema tezkyma exercises right away.. and I pulled one of my leg muscles. Myslela jsem ze to za par dni prejde.. ale uz to boli par mesicu… Do you have any advice on what to do once you pull a muscle? Diky moc a happy two years ;-)

  • maria renee

hi well im from guatemala (central america)just to let you know that i watch all you exercises and i love them thaks

  • elise

congratulations on 2 years! i don’t know where i would be without your site-thank you a million times!

  • http://bodyrock.tv Tania

Congrats Zuzana & Frederick on your 2 year anniversary. I have been a follower of yours since I discovered you about 1 1/2 years ago and it has completely changed my way of working out and the results have been amazing. Zuzana you are looking so lovely today. You look very happy and glowing. Nice to see that. I wanted to ask you a question not pertaining to the exercises, although I must say that the Kiss My Ass workout was brutal and targeted every muscle in my body. Thanks! What sunblock do you use because you are fair skinned and you workout outdoors but don’t seem to burn. If you have a moment and can share that with me it would be great.

P.S. Was Sean to sore to workout today ;)

  • Will

Z, great workout but I need to practice some of your moves to do them correctly. I believe that Bodyrock.TV is successful because you and Freddy come across as very honest and sincere. I personally like the idea of doing the workouts in my house without “gym” equipment. Congratulations on two wonderful years. May you have many many more.

  • becca

aww congrats, (its my birthday too) lol you guys are the only site like this around and its so amazing!! Ive been with u guys, every single workout since january 2010 and they are always so much fun, in a make u want to puke kind of way.

So, i know its your sites 2 year anniversary, but im so nosy i was wondering how long have YOU guys been married?

    • Frederick

Hi Becca – our 3 year wedding anniversary is June 29th :)

      • Luisa of LA

Wow! Congratulation, Frederick and Zuzana for your 3 year anniversary this coming 29th June. Still strong, huh and great too because both of you are motivated when it comes to fitness. All of us here are blessed to have you both helping us to keep moving everyday. :)

        • Antonia

          ditto!

  • Jayne

Zuzana I think that your exersice routines get better and better and just when I thought that they couldn’t get any better you come up with these. The last week of workouts has got me sore and still feeling great it is just what I need to get that beach body I want. You guys are so awesome and when people ask me how did I do it I am goimg to send them right to your youtube to subscribe and tell them about your web site. thanks again.

  • KC

Just wanted to say thanks again for all your hard work on Bodyrock. Love the workouts.

I also wanted to say that your hair in this workout is much more sophisticated than the monkey hair. Honestly, I like it so much better. (But you can’t go wrong…)

  • Miguel

Hi! This was the first one of your workouts that I tried. I’m a regular fitness user, but I must say that I WANTED TO KILL YOU!!! It was very hard and I didn’t even manage to repeat everything, but I still had fun. I hope I can get better with time. Thank you very much for the video and the clear instructions and, of course, for your sexy body!

    Keep rockin’!

  • sarah

I am about to do this workout.. but i had to comment on your new hairdoooo. Love it. I always wondered ho you could stand your hair touching your face during your workouts.. I have to put a headband on! But it really looks nice to see your whole face, it also makes you look more sophisticated.

  • Carrie

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY BODYROCK!!

I follow you Daily. If you have time to answer, I was wondering why you both have moved to so many places within the past two years? Just for the heck of it, or was there a purpose to each city? Europe looks like an amazing place to live. Seeing your workout outside reminds me of my home in the USA, Colorado . Also wanted to tell you thank you for answering the same questions time and time again (i.e. How much you eat/what). Your humbleness does not go unseen. THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO!

    Peace and Love,
Carrie from your friends down south :)

    • Frederick

Hi Carrie – just for the heck of it sounds like a great answer!

  • Jana

Thanks for the awesome workout for your abs!! Also, for the explanation at the end, Loved it!!

  • Rose

Ive been doing this for a week and already I can see a pretty dramatic difference in my body! And I’m having so much fun, the concentration required for the form gives me a relationship to my body during my workouts that I never felt with weight machines. Thanks alot, and you beautiful Zuzana, and inpiring :)

  • Jacques

Hi Zuzana! I look forward to try out this workout. I’ve been doing these workouts for a week now. One thing that I’ve noticed is that I still have energy left the next day, which is fantstic. I used to be a track & field sprinter back in college, and now I’m trying to get back in shape just in time for a high school reunion.

I wanted to give you an idea on workout names. Why don’t you start naming your workouts after songs you really like, that may have something to do (or not) with the workout? You are such sweetheart, and you don’t need those crazy, overly sexual workout names to get your point across.

Keep up the great work. I’ll be watching and sweating my way to fitness thanks to you.

    Thank you very much!

  • Diana

Zuzana, I’ve been dying to know where you got your necklace from. Thanks!

    • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

I got it as a present from Freddy’s family.

  • Stephanie

    Hi Zuzana!
I just had a question…now I’ve been involved in the health and fitness industry for some time now, and I’ve always been told that working the same muscles 2 days in a row was not good. Especially if your sore? So is it ok to be doing your work outs every day? (taking a one or two day a week rest of course) Whats your opinion on that?

    • http://www.bodyrock.tv/ Zuzana – BodyRock.Tv

      HI Stephanie,

you can work the same muscles every day. I do full body workouts almost on a daily basis, but I always vary the exercises. If you are experiencing post exercise muscle soreness than you shouldn’t avoid light activity, because easy workout will help you with muscle recovery.

      • Carolina

Thanks for clarifying Zuzana, I was kind of confused by the same myth.

  • Daniella

    Hi guys,

I’ve been using your site for 2 months now. I really love your workouts:) Thanks for all of the great information you are sharing. I am definitely noticing an improvement in muscle tone. I was laughing at your post today because I also have a chihuahua who loves “couching”.

  • Megan

I’ve been following your workouts for a while now and am proud to say that since December of last year I have lost ten pounds! Thank you for everything and for helping me see my potential:)

  • Dee

I discovered your site back in December 2009 and I must admit I look forward to each and every new workout you post. I study them and then perform them in my at-home gym and they are incredible. Who knew one could get fit in under 30 minutes? I used to have a personal trainer 2 times a week for 30 minutes. Upon leaving her I would be whooped and exhausted. These workouts are like working out with my personal trainer. I am whooped afterwards in under 30 minutes. Now that really fits into my schedule.

  • Jodi

you look so classy, fresh and hot with your hair pulled back and a nice little tan happening, makes me miss summer now that its winter here in australia :(

  • Hommy

Hi hello and congratulations for your two years anniversary! I just want to comment that your workouts are great! I’m from Puerto Rico and since a friend of mine show me one of your videos I became a loyal follower and practitioner of them!!! I been doing exercise for long, I run in the afternoon about 4 miles and do some weigthliftig but since I began doing your rutines I beggin to notice my body with more definition!!! I continue watching and prcticing your rutines in the future, so thanks and keep the good work!!!

  • D

This workout was intense! just the jumpstart I needed to get going with my day today…. being my birthday :)

    • Frederick

      Happy Birthday!

  • steph

    Hey Guys!
Congrats on your site anniversary. I’ve been following you for over a month now and I LOOOOOOVE it! I start my mornings with my coffee and Zuzana – check out the new workout – and then get a proper ass kicking =)

Just wanted to give some feedback, the workout breakdown you gave at the end of this video was awesome. I try to be a stickler for form and hearing you explain it was very, very helpful. Thanks!

  • cascade

Really great workout –thanks for explaining the workout at the end. That was really helpful !! Congrats on 2 years of BodyRock ! You guys have helped so many people !! We are all your grateful fans :-)

  • cs2010

Congrats you guys! It’s been a real gift finding your site, and I wish you lots of continued success. You’ve breathed new life into my workouts, and have also sparked a creativity and efficiency in other aspects of my life. With your positive outlook and dedication, I can only imagine what an incredible future you guys have to look forward to. Much Love and Gratitude!

  • OaklandSharksFan

I have an idea for you site. Would you consider doing videos just like the workout videos you post but for some of your favorite meals? Everyone seems to always ask about nutrition and I think it would be a great addition. Obviously, you want to maintain some privacy to your lives but its just a thought. Thanks for the most brutal workout yet! Core strength is probably my biggest weakness right now so this one was well needed.

  • Rachelle

wow, this one was a TOUGHY! I too was drenched in sweat. I’m embarrassed to admit I didn’t think it looked like a difficult workout, but it was one of the most brutal ones for me. Thanks again, you make my days : )

  • Luisa of LA

Yahoo!!! A new workout to do again. Can’t wait to start it.

Zuzie, Fred, I have a question, I always do your workout during my lunch break. I walked from our work bldg to inside the hotel to do your training, is walking consider a good warm up? I usually do stretching though after workout then walk back to my work. Please advise. Thanks for everything again. :)

  • Luisa of LA

Frederick, I like the way how you focused your camera to your puppy during pause to the next workout. That was nice and your pup is so adorable. I wanna grab and snuggle him. So cute! :)

Myself, my mom and two friends just did this workout together, it was so much fun! We work out at the gym regularly and always make sure to do at least one of your workouts a week because they hit us in a totally unexpected and awesome way!
This is my favorite website on the net!
Much support and sweaty high fives! :)

  • Sasha

I am finding that I can’t get any of the links at the top of the website to connect. Like I wanted to look at the diet section or archive section, but when I click on it, nothing happens. I can only access your workouts from the postings at the bottom of the page. Is there a problem that you know of with the links?

  • Audra

Z, I’ll try this workout in the afternoon at the gym. I’m still nursing my damaged shoulder and will see if I can gradually get through it. I’m being very cautious about it. I going on vacation next week to Florida and I’ll rest it then. Hopefully the BP oil spill won’t hit the beach. What separates you from the rest of the fitness instructors is that you care about what you are doing and explain everything in terms that all can understand. BTW, I think I saw Cali break a sweat on the sofa :-) Rock on!

  • http://chowbellabycassie.blogspot.com Cassandra

This workout was awesome…dare I say fun? I never thought I would enjoy exercise, but the brevity of your workouts helps a lot :) I like your push-up variations. I was a Sweaty Betty after this one!

  • Nathalie

    Happy anniversary Bodyrock !!!

Really, what material is this girl you built in? How lucky can a man be (no offense, Freddy)? Am I watching heaven, or is it a really cool version of hell (specially when it comes to abs!!!)?

This are some of the questions that come to my mind while watching your videos. Lucky enough, it is not long before the good pain comes and all I can think about is finishing another set before I crash!

Cheers guys, have a good one.

    Ishmael

  • Amandafit

Congrats on Bodyrock.tv’s 2nd anniversary! I know you have totally improved my fitness level and I am sure changed many peoples lives. I have to say this workout was brutal!!!! I thought my arms were not going to be able to hold myself up at one point! You are pushing us and yourselves to new heights. I really appreciate you! Have a great weekend!

    Amanda

  • E.E.

hi zuzana & freddy! Thanks for these 2 years that you’ve used to “open our eyes” to the world of fitness and health! hehe it’s been a while since I’ve commented but not to worry!! I’ve been very diligently working out with you guys. Well, I have a very personal question…so if you don’t want to answer to this it’s fine, but if you are willing, then I really hope to get a response :) Before your augmentation, did you ever try anything like “natural herbs” and natural creams? if so, did they help at least a little bit? (wish I could have asked you somewhere else so it’s not uncomfortable for you) Thank you and what a cute/cozy house!

    • Melissa

Ha–let me answer! Don’t waste your time or money. Save it for the augmentation:)

  • mila

I don`t even know how to thank you gyes for what you doing,I`m feeling so goog every morning after your workouts, please don`t ever stop this thing :) and happy anyversary!

  • Zoe

Happy BodyRock Anniversary! Wish I had found you guys 2 years ago but so glad a friend told me about you at the beginning of this year – been doing your workouts since March 2010 and I’m seeing results like never before – can’t believe I’m working out less and getting better results – I used to run for hours (marathon training) and my body shape changed only slightly – now I’m stronger than ever & I’m noticing big changes in muscle tone – thank you guys so much – Congrats on your upcoming wedding anniversary too – xoxo

  • Moooingcow

Congratulations on 2 years!!! Wonderful! I like the format of this new workout. The explanation at the end is great. It helps us understand your w/o quicker. Nicely done!

  • Kitty

Fantastic work out. Just finished Hot to Trot Workout and still feeling my LOVE high from it. Want to tell eveyone to do these workouts so they can feel the love too!

Was tricky to write down my scores, didn’t want to cut into my intervals so thought I’d remember my reps easily enough but by the time I finished a full round all the reps were muddled in my oxygen deprived brain!! Was gasping and definitely melting.

So my reps were something as follows:
    Part 1
    Reptile: 38/36, 32/28
    Climbers:(counting two jumps as 1 Rep) 34/30, 30/28
    Knee Tucks: 32/28, 28/25

    Part 2
    4:21:30
    3:45:45

    Thanks again.

  • Jazz

Hi Zuzana and Fredrick. Cheers to all your success! You both are an inspiration to all. I love your workouts and that fact that you are a team making it happen, no excuses! Awesome! Thank you!

  • Sandra

    Dear Zuzanna:

Thanks for posting a workout that can be done anywhere with no equipment! No excuses for me now!

    Sandra

  • Leslie

    Hey Zuzana and Freddy,

I’ve been getting inspiration and diet and exercise tips from your site for a long time now, and I often borrow pieces of your workouts. It’s been such a great resource for me, but now more than ever. Yesterday I did this workout, and it’s the first time I did an entire workout of yours. It was really hard, and took me about half an hour total, but I felt so good about myself when I was finished! Today I did your ‘perverted punisher’ workout, with some modifications (I wimped out and did the pushups on my knees during the burpees, and I did ordinary jumping jacks without the rope). I feel much stronger the more I use your workouts and tips, so thank you! Congratulations on your two-year bodyrock anniversary. You’re making a huge difference in so many people’s lives. I hope you never let each other forget how amazing you are. :)

    Much love,
    Leslie

  • Mary

Oh!! Great, i’m gonna try in tomorrow!
Your’re so inspiring, its amazing….just imagine how many people on this planet you’re helping every day!
p.s. I’d like to see your new kitchen, maybe you’ll post some new recepies)))

  • http://[email protected] olga

i want to start working out and i would like to hear some great tips from you thank you and congrats on your 2 year anniversary and wish you many more

  • Laura

Hi Zuzana and Frederick, Congratulations on your 2 years. Thanks so much for your wonderful site. I watch everyday and love your workouts. I really enjoy doing them even though they are brutal but I feel so great after I complete them. It’s a great way to start my day. Thank you again, Laura

  • Elise

I just had a question…do you do anything else besides your daily workout in a day? Do you run everyday or do you normally just stop after your posted workout?

  • Aleksandra

    Hi there Zuzana :)
Thank you a lot for the work you’re doing, you really make me WANT to sweat every time! :)
Just a suggestion: could you please make categories of the exercise on your website? I mean, a distinction between workouts which help you improve your legs, bums, belly or just general strength? That would be nice :)
    Kisses!

  • Rosie

    Hello,

your workouts and site are awesome! I hope you guys don’t mind me asking but why do you guys move so much?

    Rosie

  • Ishmael

    1) What is material is she built on, anyway?
    2) How lucky can a man be? (no offense Freddy, but reaaaallly!)
    3) How on earth do I get to the second round?
    4) Do I really need to repeat this?
    5) This is absurd! There must be some kind of camera trick!

Just a few things that come to mind whenever watching your superb workouts…

Keep up the good work! Thanks for changing our lifes…in a good way!!!!!

    Ishmael

  • Ishmael

Oh…looks I posted quite the same stupid comment twice, sorry guys. Just erase on of them.

Can any one say “Drenched in Sweat?” I just finished this workout. The monkey push-up and jump combination was killer.

    Thanks.

  • Inga

    Happy anniversary to you both!

I watch your site since a couple of month – but didn’t get started on a regular base – :-((

Dear Zuzana, please tell me what would be the best – every day something new – trying the best I can of your daily program – or doing the same workout for a period of time?

I’m 52 and in a good sharp through horseback riding.

Waiting for a replay so I can get started with no more excuse.

    Love your new home!
    All my best from Germany

  • La Bruja Nica

    Hola Zuzana y Federico!….;)
When you challenged us for the no sugar waaaaaay…back…I failed miserablemente por 2 days…then I was embarrased to tell you..but I did visited ur website everyday, and I have to tell you that for a month now I have been out of white sugar! I am slowly changing our eating habits, for a cleaner diet now, and I have to thank you guys…to say thank you is simplemente not enough,… we watched ‘supersize me” with my 11 yr old! she (we were) was horrified with the chicken nuggets, for a month now, no Mcdonalds, there is temptation tough..with my 4yr old..I did tell him why we do not go anymore, a little hard for him to understand but he is getting use to it. So back to our daily diet, I can’t have just coffee, so I do add a tsp of Agave, slowly we are changing how we cook, not everything flies as smooth as I want, but I see changes, now I crave NOT sugar! I won’t lie..I have ‘only’ lost 5 pounds, in a month!!!! yupppiiii!!! Eating a full breakfast has made such a difference, I was a 3-5 cup of coffee person before 10 am, nothing else, now I have maybe one cup, my oats, my eggs! decent amount of water, I serve myself in a tall glass of beer, drops of jugo de limon, or slice of ginger, I feel sofisticated ;) drinking it like that…and one more thing I can do 5 to 10 Ninja Jumps!!!

Muchas gracias por compartir tu casa, tus ejercicios, tu knowledge with us! for free! oh yes I got my hot pink Gymboss some months ago, love it! thanks for introducing me to Eating clean, Gymboss, Lululemon pants..well that will be my mega treat! ;)

    Gracias!!! gracias!

  • Tiffany Stephens

    Happy Anniversary guys!! congrats

  • Lvette #1

I set my timer at 10/35 so I can write down my score. I did stop counting at 30sec then write down my counts.

    Part 1: 8:74

    Reptile: 26-18 / 10-13
    Mountain: 24-19 / 23-16
    Knee Tuck: 11-20 /20-21

    Part 2:

    5:20 / 5:17

This is now the hardest workout for me since joining this site.

    Happy anniversary!

  • Alpiya

    Congratulations Zuzana & Frederick!!!
I love your site and workouts so much :)
By the way you have a great and cozy house :)

  • Rea

    Happy 2 year anniversary !

All I can say is that I wish I knew this site two years ago.

Since December 2009 this website was (and still is) just what I needed to get in better shape, better health and feel better about my body.

You guys give so much, to people you do not know, without asking for anything in return.

You always have positive energy, beautiful photographs/videos and great tips.

Thank you so much and I hope there will be many more anniversaries.

  • Amina

    Hi Zuzanna.
I really love your workouts, they are very intensive and short (what save our time). I have a question about rounds… how many of them need to be done? Cause I did a math :) and got that you have been doing first part four times? The second part is very clear for just two rounds with provided numbers of reps, but first is very confusing for me…
    please explain.
    Thank you!

  • http://none Rico and Odette

    Hi,

Just want to say that my wife and I just finished this routine. I want to thank you for creating and posting these workouts. This one was a killer. We’re always looking for different ways to make the workouts challenging and we both really like the routines that you post.

    Keep up the good work:)

P.S aside from ordering your Gymboss timer on-line. Do you know of any retail stores that may carry this?

    Thanks

  • Rob

I tried this work out today and was only able to complete 3 rounds with good form. I was so hot a sweaty after round one I had to remove my shirt. I had a fan going and the door open for ventalation and still had no help. Killer!

  • Susanne

    hi Zuzana and Frederick

i always worked out – my whole life, every day, many hours and looked the same…. then, 1st April i discovered your site by coincidence and did about 4 work outs of yours combined with a little running and pump classes. now, after two months, i see my body change the first time in my life!!! my abs are visible and my core looks stronger. Even my arms and my butt got leaner. My 11 year old son said your work out is great :)
FYI, i gave birth to 4 children, am 37 and it is still possible to get a result!

thank you so much!!! you are wonderful and certainly a great inspiration!!!!

  • Phillip

Thanks gang, that was an absolute flogging! I discovered an interesting new fact about me during the workout. I can only squat and twist to the right. I tried to the left, but almost fell each time and eventually gave up on going left when I clumsily knocked everything of a side table trying to stay on my feet. From this day forth I’m going to call this the Zoolander Hot To Trot workout.

  • Brigita

It has been 2 years since you started this project, but I wonder when did you ever started exercising because even in your very first videos you, Zuzana, look pretty good?

  • Belen

    Hi guys!
I subscribed to your site today, but I’ve been following you for the last month and have done some of your workouts.
They are fantastic. I’ve been doing sport all my life and I think this is a great way to workout, because you become stronger and you are not so tired the next morning as with other sports, even at work.
So I wanted to thank you very much for what you’re doing. I love your videos.
Remember you are all welcome to Spain if any time you want to visit.
    Happy Anniversary as well! XX

  • Amy

Firstly, Congrats on keeping it up for 2 Years. Myself, and so many others are extremely happy you have! I swear by your website, and found I have little need for the gym. I have also turned you onto several friends of mine. Your workout’s our a common conversation of ours :)
This time.. I was SOO happy you properly explained the exercises in detail. This is so important in proper instruction. Form is everything. So I was really happy to see this today. But I did want to ask of you this; Some of us at home exercisers don’t have all that equipment you have ( chin up bars, dip bars ect.. ) would you be able to recommend subs for these. Like the broom stick between two chairs? I tend to make up my own sometimes, but .. YOUR the expert!
Thats all. Congrats again! We love you!

  • Nima

Hey I love your videos! it triggers me to work out more…
    Thanks a million.

  • Great Dane

    Dear Zuzana,

I just love and adore your site – the way you work out makes so much sense to me.

This is my very first comment after having lurked for some time, and it’s to ask you pretty pretty please will you do more kettlebell workouts? I have an 8kg and a 12kg at home, and I’d love to get some more use out of them (although they do look very kick-ass just standing on my bookshelf in my livingroom :-p).

Also, maybe you could update us on how they’re working out for you? Are you still in love with them? Have they helped you achieve the goals you had in mind for them? Or is it still to soon to tell?

All the very best wishes from me (and my nameless kettlebells) to you with a great big thank you for being who you are. The world could use more people like the two of you.

  • EasyGoingBoy

    Ahoj Zuzko,
občas sleduji tvá videa zde a musím říct, že Ti moc držím palce. I Tvůj partner vypadá, že je hodný a v pohodě. Obdivuji cílevědomé lidi jako jsi Ty. Hodně štěstí :-)

  • Ann

thank you for your videos if really useful and really very very hard

especially you show us how to do the exercise.

    thanksssssssss

  • Peter

    Hi guys!

Question: Zuzana, did you take a break before you hit it the second time?

    Thanks,
    Peter

  • Treena

Hi to all of you! I love love love your workouts! Thank you sooo much! I have been following you now for about 6months! Your new place looks gorgeous!

  • Iris Collado

I did this workout today and it is really a killer workout. I want to thank you guys for your well designed workouts. Circuit training is the best way to get that ripped and athletic look.

  • Amy N. From California

    Hello,

I am new to your site and just started your workouts! Since I am new I do not complete as many reps and I do not have as good form as you two. Do you suggest I practice one workout until I am good at it then move on to others or just do each one as they come (or pick older ones I like) as best I can and then move on to the next?

    • Fleur

      Hello Amy,
I don’t think you should stick with one and only workout until you can improve your form.
In fact you will find all what you need here on Bodyrock. Since you are a beginner I would advise you to check out the workout archives. There you will find a lot of workouts adapted to beginner level. You can start from there until you improve your form and reps.
Keep in mind that your goal is to increase your body strength. You should select different workouts so you can improve your whole body strength (core muscles included).
Bodyrock with Zuzana and Fred is just the right place to find your path to healthy and fit body. It’s Smart, Efficient and never Boring. So enjoy it :)

  • Elena

Happy anniversary from Germany! I was almost taking a trip to Prague with your last months workouts, now fitness inspiration goes to Canada. Btw, happy housewarming party as well – if are you going to have any? ^-)

I enjoy attempting the workouts that you post! I was wondering, what do your warm-ups usually look like? Do you walk, run, stretch?

    • Nefertary

Go in the archive, there’s a video just for the warm up.

  • thera

i am not in shape at all…YET.. here is mine reptile: round 1-8 round 2-6; mountian climber round 1- 13 round 2-8; knee tucks round 1- 15 round 2-12 part 2– monkey things time 6:21 but i could not get my legs to jump high :) and squats and twists 1:22 got down as far as i could which was not far :) i think that is why that time is low

  • Filisofer

LOVE IT, LOVE IT AND LOVE IT.
I like the fact that you aren’t using a lot of weight.
To the main issue, and it´s about kids.

Maybe there is a good reason why you don´t have kids, but if there isn´t, then I suggest that you stop jerking around and start making babies.
Believe me, there is nothing sexier than a sexy mother. Show the other mothers how to come back in shape. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed…

I am brand new at the cross-fit arena… I have been working out for a long time now though, so Im not “out of shape”, just ready to kick it up a notch….I would love some tips… Im trying my best to at least hit half your numbers…. Great workouts though… and just the kind I have time for!

So… I’m not fit at all! I’ve been doing fitness classes twice a week for the past two months but they’re nothing like your fitness workouts.
    I did: reptile 1- 19 2-15, mountain climber 1-20 2-10, knee tucks 1-34 2-20; monkeys – 1st round in 7:42 and the 2nd round I did only 12 push ups in 3:10.
I gave up because I felt I was in the verge of passing out and I wasn’t doing the exercises correctly anymore, so I thought giving up was better than hurting myself.
Eventhough I didn’t finish the 2nd part of the 2nd round I feel good because I wanted to give up just after 4 push ups in the 1st round. haha

Anyway, I’m gonna start doing your workouts when I don’t have my fitness classes and I want to see how fast I improve :D

  • Brigita

Rivulets of sweat is running down my body! What a great workout and I am so proud I have just done it all. The truth is that I modified the routine a bit. I do not have any timer, so instead of intervals I did 30 rep. of reptile, knee tucks and other excercises and counted to 10 in mind while doing plank.
Yesterday I excercised by the same workout (it was my very first time following your suggestions) and I passed after the first circle (it took about 14 min.). Today I have done both circles and my result is 26.32 min.
Thanks for what you are doing!

  • Lil

I loved this workout! I didn’t expect the twist jumps to be as hard as they were. You make everything look so easy. :)
    Round one:
    Reptile-15,16. Mountain climbers-31,40. Knee tucks-27,24.
    Part 2 time-6:22

    Round two:
    Reptile-22,18. Mountain climbers-36,33. Knee tucks-25,30.
    Part 2 time-6:42.

not sure why I did better in round two than in round one?

  • BigHaz

arms hurt badly in the first part!
didnt exactly write down each rep but it was something like this..

    reptile: around 20
    Mountain Climber: 40-50
    Knee tucks: 15-20

the second round of this part were lower each time..
and on the time challenge first it was 3:47 and then like 4 min..

    great workout!

  • Gil Hilel

    Awesome workout!!!

    Time challange – 3:29, 3:56
Watching you from Israel, you are great!

  • Squirrel

    Great one: No more quads!!
And the IT part was harder than I expected. Gret on my abs though!!

    My score:
    Reptile: 19/19 // 21/20
    Mountain climbers: 25/24 // 27/27 (2 jumps = 1 rep)
    Knee tuck: 25/26 // 28/30

Time challenge: forgot to set the timer for the 1st round (too focused on the workout I guess ;)/ 6’15″ for 2nd round – I have lots of room for improvement on this one: my breaks were too long (actually it the monkey push ups that tokk me some time – it is weird, but I felt it more on my quads than arms)

    Thanks for this great one!

  • Micahlene

This was ssssooooo hard… I couldn’t finish it… Good workout!

  • BM

Hi Bodyrock! Just wanted to post how grateful I am that you take the time to put up all these AMAZING workouts. I am a personal trainer who started seeing my clients fall very much into routine with the 45 minutes of cardio and small amounts of weight training. I have started taking pieces of your genius and FUN workouts and incorporating them in small amounts. It is keeping every workout fresh and interesting.
All my clients have been given your website and I urge them to check you out!!

I also started doing your routines and feel fantastic!!! You are very inspiring and I can not express how thankful I am. =)

This video doesn’t seem to work at the moment and that’s to bad… Coz it’s really helpful to watch you do the exercises “live”…

Just wanted to let you know that I love, love, love your workout videos!!!

  • Charlie D.

Last time I tried this I got 3:20 and 3:09. This time, just a little over a month later I got 2:45 and 2:44! I’m totally pumped.

This was the first day I tried going running (really just jogging) as a warmup for your workouts. Clearly it worked pretty well. I was feeling a little like I was hitting a plateau – I think that that paired with a little more honesty about how hard I’m pushing will be key.

Enjoy Italy – thanks so much for all your hard work. We really appreciate it.

I luv you, guys you do and amazing job…

  • Jessica

I did this workout a couple weeks ago, but I was just going through my notebook and had to comment. This one kicked my ass! OH MY GOODNESS! I made a note at the bottom of the page; “HARD! HOLY WTF!” This is going to be the one I tell the macho guys who think my workouts are short and silly to try. The whole thing took me 21:40. Couldn’t write down my reps for the first part. But I got 4:40 and 5:00 for the second part and had to REALLY “Push”. Thanks for kicking my ass! I loved it!

  • Aphrodite

i love this workout.. 3rd try on this:
    2nd part

    1st round: 3:29
    2nd round: 3:46

I did this workout for the 2nd time this morning and I just broke my personal best by far (for the second part – i did 2 min less than last time)!!. Last time I did it, it ws two months ago…Thank you Freddy and Zuzana because all this is thanks to you
    My score:
    reptile: 22/22 // 22/24
    moutain: 30/30 // 30/30
    knee tuck: 28/28 // 30/30

Time challenge: 4’11 // 4’10 (the first exercise is a killer!)

    Love!

  • irene

hey suzana, i’m from Malaysia. (I bet you donno where is it XD) you really inspire me. I follow your workout almost a year. and i love it~! thanks for the videoand different workout, it really works.
    thanks..

  • Nina

This is the worst workout EVER :D (I mean it in a possitive way, of course) I did it twice in the past, today it was my 3rd try, and here is the score:
    Reptile: 28/28 // 40/30
    Mountain Climber 38/30 // 32/28
    Knee Tuck 20/22 // 16/16

Time challenge: 2:28 / 3:00 – but I did only 20 reps of each (I don’t know why I though I have to do 20 instead of 25, but even these 20 were brutal, I was almost crying at the end) :D

First 15 monkey pushups seems like a piece of cake, but from 16th pushup on, it is a KILLER :D I wanted to pass out so I do not have to finish :D I am so happy that I learned to push myself hard, in the past I was like: you don’t have to do it, nobody will know, only you will. But now – exactly, only I WILL know it, and I am what counts :) I am really loving myself for being hard on myself :D and love you for teaching me that :) Thank you both!

I felt like doing a workout for my abs today so I picked this one! I knew how simple it looked but how brutal it was!
I changed the 2nd part a little bit by doing 4 min IT / 10 sec rest – 30 sec max intensity / 6 rounds (3 rounds per exercise). Last time I did this workout, I performed the 2nd part in 4’10 and 4’11 for the 2nd round. Believe me or not, but I was able to the exact same number of monkey push up (25 reps) and way more squat and twist jump within 4 min IT (I did 48 reps for the 1st round and 52 reps for the 2nd round) and it was brutal!!
I just took a break between the 1st and 2nd round with means that I did the abs part and moved on directly to the second part (12 rounds total on interval timer)
    Here is my score
    Reptile: 22/22 // 22/22
    Mountain: 34/31 // 33/31 (2 jumps = 1 rep)
    Knee tuck: 28/28 // 28/28
    Monkey PU/Knee tuck: 9/8/8 // 9/8/8
    Squat/twist jump: 17/15/16 // 19/15/18

    Sweating a lot!

I just did this workout tonight and I was pretty sure I was going to die during it. I have never experienced such intense shoulder burn in my life. My butt was way too high on a lot of the reps for part 1, but I was dying! It was the first time I’d ever done the reptile or knee tucks, so that was hard.

My times for the second part were: 7:19:59, which was super disappointing and then 6:13:96, which was way better! I’m not sure I fully comprehend the monkey push ups yet and I fell over a couple times, but oh well.

It was so brutal… BUT I FINISHED!

This was my workout for today, last time i did it was on January:

    part 1: total shoulder burnout

    part 2: 3:44 – 4:00 min

    :) thanks!

    • sselcann

  • sselcann

    reptile: 27-18 / 20-18
    mountain climber: 40-36 / 33-30
    knee tucks: 30-24 / 20-28
    part 2: 02:43 – 02:43

Today to work abs I just did the first part after 2 workouts. And very great workout for abs, but for shoulders too !!!

  • Mia

    Hello everyone,

I really like this workout, I love feeling the pain in the abs eheh just because you can feel the muscles working and you know you are on target, not because I am a masochist :D ahahah
I have a bit of sore abs today, because I did the Medal of Honor Abs wkout yesterday, so I could feel my abs so tight right after the first reptiles… ouch ouch

Though I really like this wkout it’s only my second time doing it (so many good wkouts to do eheh), and I beat my personal best!! yuppy!!

    my scores:
    part1
    1. reptile: 29.15 // 31.16          (old: 20.13 // 25.14)
    2. mount. climber (each jump = 1 rep):  45.40 // 39.40         (old: 42.36 // 44.34)
    3. knee tucks:  22.18 // 27.24          (old: 20.20 // 21.28)

    part2
    4’09” // 4’18”   (old: 4’45′ // 4’22”)
one this one I am quite sure I did higher jumps and deeper push ups and also proper deep squats. still manage to do better in time too. sooo happy  :D

    Have fun, take care

  • Catsnp

I did this one and it was a KILLER!
    Part 1. 22,14
    24,17
    15,19
    time:4:09

    Part 2. 20,15
    20,18,
    20,18
    time:3:44
    And  burpee for Erin :)

I am soaked in sweat and feeling so high. Thanks you as always for this AMAZING community. See you guys tomorrow and have a great day everyone :):):)

  • Kay

    pt 1:
    2. reptile 22/23
    4. mtn climber: 40/50
    6. knee tucks: 19/22

    pt 2:
    1. monkey pushup and jump: 2:12/1:52
    2. squat & twist jump: 0:31/0:27

the elbow planks were MURDER. I tried my best with the monkey pushups but couldnt get my head all the way to the ground. so they were kinda half monkey pushups.

  • http://aphrodiitee.deviantart.com/ Isidora
