My New Fitness Challenge

Hi Guys,

I am sorry that I couldn’t share my recipe with you today, but as I mentioned in the video, we ran out of water today so I didn’t want to make any more of a mess in the kitchen :) I promise that sometime next week I will share my fantastic grill recipe. I am really excited about my new fitness challenge for this week and I hope that you guys will take part in it with me. This challenge is perfect for getting into a solid workout routine – especially if you have been skipping workouts lately, or if you are trying to get started again after some time off. We will be starting with tomorrows workout, so I will see you guys then.

Best,

Zuzana

  • Gemz

Gee, I was going to challenge myself to a 5 day workout this week :D I just finished Rock & No Roll and tomorrow I was planning to do Hot to Trot follow by Sexy Hot Cool on Wed and Sexy Body Beater on Thu. My fav exercise from you is Step Up, Reverse Crunch and also L Lunges, but I also like many others. I have been experiencing a slow down lately and I tend to skip a day after 2 straight days of workout. Looking forward to your new workouts so I can add them for Friday. Thanks!

P.S. Zuzana, your boobs is va va voom. I think La Senza should hire you ;D

  • Erika

Yes!!! I am so excited about this new challenge. I already workout 6 times a day, sometimes even twice so it’s going to be so nice to have one of your workouts daily.
    Thank you guys!

  • Erin

I’m so happy you’re doing this challenge…that means more workouts for us! :) I love watching your workouts even if I can’t follow all of them since they’re so much more advanced then my fitness level! I’m still inspired! :) In the last 9 days, I’ve worked out 4 times…it would’ve been more but I am just starting out again and I had to rest a few days from being SO SORE! I love your website so much! I’ve been telling my friends about you and your site! :) Thanks for all that you do!

  • Raina

I have already been doing this every week:) Really i workout actually everyday when i wake up:)
My program is to wake up early, make a cup of green tea and watch on my laptop your updates or one of your workouts that i will do and then I workout:) AND IT FEELS GREAT! Thanks a lot zuzana for this because I started working out by the time i found your site and I’m sooo happy for this!
I will follow you not only this week but everyday:)
    Kisses from Greece,
    Raina!

    I’m totally joining the challenge!

  • marisa

    looking forward to the challenge!

  • Fleur

    You are so great.
I was just having this conversation with another bodyrock fan. Yes I think that sometimes we need to go back to basic and very simple rules so that we have no excuse for not working out today.
We often realize that we have been taking it too easy when it is too late. Our mid is already set to procrastination and so our body is just following our mood.
So getting back to simple reality and having an agenda is one of the best solution.
Athletes have competitions so they must keep up to do well. But for the ones that are not competing then it is easy to let it go.

If our mind controls our body, the opposite can be true too: Once you get back to it – usually 20 days is what it takes to set it as an habit- then you rock your world again and your body is the one telling your brain that you need to work.
Zuzana and Fred: You are full of surprises, always in a good way :))
    Looking forward to it.

  • Rhiannon

Yay i’m excited for this challenge! I don’t have equipment and recently got back from holiday to a cold miserable winter, so this is just what i need to get back into things! looking forward to the first workout :)

    Yeaaah,

I’m super excited for this challenge. Eventhough I work out everyday (though it’s not bodyweight training but jogging) I couldn’t work out as much because I caught colds so often the last 2 months…and so I could not work out and I’m kind of losing my drive, so I’m reaaally looking forward to this challenge. I love your site, I love you guys (you are always so sweeet). The both of you really changed my life (and mind) and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
    Have a good one,

    Katja

  • Theodora

hey couple,I was wadering what are you doing for a living?

  • Vilivil

I’m working out from Monday to Saturday, Sunday active rest or couching like Cali :D But because summer is here, and I still have a few extra pounds I started a running schedule to prepare myself to be able to run a half marathon. I just love running.

  • http://www.sportsantefitness.com Karine

    Hey Zuzana,

I will start the challenge with you today. I realy have to get in shape for the bikini season. I am not far from what i would like (or maybe where i know i can push myself) but this time i would like to push myself further without being scared.

So cant wait to see your first workout..

Ho by the way, in yur archives you have a abs routine wich you do with a baseball bat outside….ITS AMAIZING!!!! everyone likes it and its my ab routine for the past months…
Do you have something new to propose??? What a great routine…

See you later with your training.
    Karine

  • gilly.bit

YAAAY! :) I’M DEF GONNA TRY THE CHALLENGE

  • FluidFreedom

I am definitely in with this challenge! I just did my workout today (started with your Rock’n No Rolls Workout) and I feel fabulous! You and Freddie (and Sean) should be so proud of all that you do with this site. I am a lifer!

    Thanks!

  • http://rathernotsay Sabrina

Fantastic, Im soo ready for this one Zuzanna bring it!!

  • Stacey

I am in! My youngest son made the cross country team at school so he must begin training this summer. Since he is too young to go so far from home alone, I will be running with him in addition to doing your workouts. I ran a half marathon in March of this year and found your site shortly after. I haven’t been running at all since doing your workouts, so this summer is going to be brutal. I refuse to give up my BodyRock workouts, it’s the best part of my day. Thanks for all you do!

  • Sarah from USA- SC

You read my mind! Last week I worked out every day (Mon-Fri) using your workouts and I felt SO good! The only break I took was Saturday when I went hiking for my active rest day.
I’m with you on this one, Zuzana!

  • Monifah

I already exercise (only BodyRock workouts of course) from monday to friday and try to get in saturday too so it will be great to see you are ‘with’ me!! Looking forward to the workouts, but please use the kettlebells too again at some point, they have just arrived here and i am looking forward to try them out together with your workouts.
BodyRock is my daily addiction :o)

  • Taryn

    Hi Zuzana!

So just to clarify – the challenge is to work out 5 days a week? I thought you actually did that already? Also, how long will you be doing this for?

    Thanks again for everything!

  • Dana

    You’re on! :p

  • Marion

I’m so looking forward to the challenge. Love your workouts. I’ve been doing them for 3 weeks now and totally excited about it…Marion

  • Ramona

I’m joining! Looking forward to it.. 5 nice workouts in the park.. beautiful wheather.. See ya tomorrow!

  • Corinne

Count me in for the challenge!

  • Ariaana

I took part of your previous challenge, the no sugar-challenge, and I have to say I failed miserably… But this challenge is anyways much more important for me since I’m not a huge sugar eater.

So I’m defenately in for this challenge because I’ve always been struggling with keeping up the schedule of working out five times a week.

P.S. I love and am addicted to your site =)

  • Leigh-Anne

Sign me up for this challenge! And…I have a challenge for you! If possible, could you revisit the Hot Body Workout sometime soon and post your numbers? I really enjoy that one a lot and I would just love to see how I measure up. Thanks so much!

  • Arielle

Bring it on, Zuzana! You’ve got me excited for this week’s workouts :D

  • Dawn

I’m game!!! I tried your last challenge…. then failed. BOY did I fail! LOLOL BUT, I tried again and have now been 99.9% sugar free for a little over 2 months!!!! I have had one piece of chocolate and one of the breakfast muffin recipes I used had 1/4 cup brown sugar because I didn’t have enough honey. I am drinking my coffee black. BLACK! When I saw you talking about drinking your coffee with just a splash of milk I thought “I could NEVER give up my sweet, sweet coffee!” Well, I did it! HUGE accomplishment for me. I have been eating 99% clean and have just this past week cut out most meat and all dairy. I lost 2 pounds this week without even trying. (I have had eggs and fish).
I plan on running my 1st 5K this month. When I first found your site I was a flabby (not clinically overweight at all, but I felt like a fatty) couch potato and now 4 months later I am 109 pounds (18 pounds lighter), doing pull ups, running 3 miles, keeping up with you on your workouts, eating clean and feeling INCREDIBLE!
Thank you soooo soooo much for all you guys do. It has changed me in ways you will never know.
    Challenge accepted! Let’s do it!

  • Nicole D Lopez

Zuzana! This is Awesome! I swear to you, I told myself I would do this starting this week – before you made this video. That’s so cool, now my(our) challenge can be easier now that you’re going to post workouts for us all week. My brother does this kind of working out. He has been working out M-F for a couple years now, and he’s got a great body and is super fit. Oh, I’m so glad you’re doing this!

  • mag

Hi Zuzana and Freddie. I have been working out 4 to 5 days a week already, and I was having thoughts about bumping my workouts a notch, the warm weather gives me so much energy that I feel super positive and ready for a bigger challenge.

I am glad to see that you will be posting more workouts, because they truly encourage me, and I love working out with you. you are the best workout mentor.

I miss Sean, will he be back?

  • Cathy

I’m on board for this one!! I have to tell you something really funny. My oldest son Jiovanni, joined me to do your workouts!!! We started with Keep it hard for 12. OK so he hurled on the fifth exercise. Not so funny at the time of course. This was two days ago. Today we’re meeting at 2:30 this afternoon at my house to give it another go, I can’t wait. This fits both our schedules for now and we are having so much fun with it. Thank you Zuzana!! Your the Best!!!

I’m a super-duper beginner so we just won’t talk about me:)

  • Cathy

Hi! My comments don’t seem to be getting through?

  • Gaby

HI guys I am in! 100%.. I was doing your workouts 5 times a week already but then I found that on thursday or sometimes wednesday I was very sored from the workouts so I decided to take a day break during the week days but if you will do 5 in a row and you think it is good, I trust you! I will do it with you too!!

    Gaby

  • http://www.studionyx.webnode.cz Marika

  • Samantha

I’m in!! Looking forward to it!!

  • Ann

I’m in with your new challenge too :) It’s my active rest day today and I’m going to take my children to the pool. It’s also my first time for my bikinis since I had my youngest son 17 months ago. I already tried this morning and I couldn’t believe my eyes!! I can again fit into my swimsuit! Big Thank You to you. I’ve never felt this much self-confident in years.
Besides, I completed your 50 day challenge too. It was the hardest challenge for me(I’m a big sweettooth person). But this eating-well, intense workout on regular basis really boosts my energy all day long. I’ll keep continue this love-my-live path for myself, for my children.I know there’ll be slipups along the way but I will not give up and never look back. Thank you Zuzana & Freddy!!! You guys ROCK :)

  • http://www.jesusdiaz.usana.com Jesus Diaz

This challenge sounds like a lot of fun I’ll do my best to post my #’s

  • Nata

I will definitely do it next week. I can’t do it this week because I’ve been taking it a little easy for the past few days because I hurt my leg, and my back and arm have been hurting as well. I can’t wait for next week though!!

  • Valerie

This perfect for me! I love challenges!
I’m excited to start, thank you for the motivation Zuzana!
    Valerie.

  • b00kw0rm

i’m definitely in on this challenge even though i just started a cleanse today AND we are moving this week. i would’ve been inclined to skip the workouts but since there is no equipment required, i really don’t have any excuses :)

  • izzie

    hey there guys,

  • Hannah

Hi guys, first of all, Zuzana you look different today, I don’t know what it is, I think it’s your hair but I LOVE it. You look extra stunning today. I am ready to do this challenge with you. I can’t wait. I am sooo motivated!!

  • Pam

Funny thing is, that was my challenge this week xD yesterday i was like.. I’m gonna workout from Monday to (saturday instead of friday..)
    IM WITH YOU! haha

  • Hannah

Hi Zuzana, this may be a bit personal and you don’t have to answer but I was wondering if you workout and put just as much effort into your workouts when you are on that time of the month. I cramp so bad that it’s hard for me to even get out of bed. But I will do the workouts even then for this challenge. I was just wondering how you handle your workouts during that time. Thanks!

  • Sherin

you are fantastiiiiiiiiiiiiic..I skipped all last week coz i was not feeling well..i was feeling so guilty..now I cant wait to just get back in..BRING IT ON…You are THE BEST EVER

I love ya!

  • Olga (Olinka )

    Hi,
I will try your challenge, I am a lot older than you 41, and I don’t know if I can keep up, but I will try!
    Thanks :)

  • Monique

I’m in!!!! Sort of,…reluctantly. I am a shift worker, so struggle with constant sleep deprivation. But…. will try to get workouts in five days a week.
Love you guys. Love your new home!
    Thanks

  • Bondo

I already consistently work out six days a week, so that won’t really be a challenge for me. The real challenge I’m looking forward to is keeping up with your intense routines!

With my Gymboss timer (and handful of Advil), I eagerly await your upcoming programs!

Thanks for sharing with us. Keep up the great work!

  • ari

SO excited that you won’t be using any equipment. you’re awesome, and i love the way you’re doing your hair now. way hot.

  • Lvette #1

Count me in. I am already on the 5days plan…this will be easy for me lol. Just so I have this right, Zuzana you will be posting a routine for 5 straight day per week, also how long is this challenge for? I hope (fingers crossed) this is for the long run.

I still hold myself a routine (Rock n’ Roll) and I’ll be doing it tomorrow. I was a pace runner for my friend the past 2 days so I missed my routine. I guess that’s what friends are for. :)

Looking forward to see what you conjured up. Be afraid everyone!

  • Antonia

I posted a comment about your hair before but I didnt see it take, I am loving your hair like the way you have been wearing it since you moved here. It is dementional and classic.

  • Katie

Thank you for the motivation! Will be following the workouts :-) You are just in time, because I’ve been lacking motivation these days.

  • Minka

Thank you so much for doing body weight exercises in the workouts. Those are my favorite and I can do them anytime, anywhere! I am ready and excited for upcoming workouts! :)

  • Sandy

    Hey Zuzana!

I was wondering, where did you get your sports bar from? The one you wore in you last few workouts. Its the pink and blue one. I really like them and would like to get some. Please answer. Thanks!

  • cascade

I’ve been on vacation, so have been staying super active on the beach and at the pool and rivers. I did a few of your awesome workouts on the beach & involved the family in a couple too. :D I’ve been keeping up with workouts while on my trip, but I think Mon-Fri workouts and weekends off is a great idea, I’m game. :) I can’t wait to get back home and have time to keep up with you guys again. I haven’t had time or the drive with all this sunshine to stay inside on the internet long enough to even know you MOVED…again! I think the new house is awesome, congrats!

  • Dawn

Ok Zuzana, I have to know….

How do I get that hairstyle?! I know, random and off topic, but I love your hair in this video! How did you do it? :)

  • http://bodyrock Terry

    Your’re on!

  • http://kwomack.com kathy

I am getting database errors on about half of your videos. My husband
is a computer nerd and says that it is your server that is at fault. Would you please look into this?
I am so excited to start doing your workouts!
    Please!

  • Carolina

    Hi Zuzana,
I’m definitely up for the challenge but I’d like to ask you how do you manage your workouts on those days we go through every month. I bet is different for every woman but although I take pills for pain my body doesn’t respond the same way. I was thinking to maybe do a mini workout but i just couldn’t move today :( I’d like to know your opinion on this matter. Thanks

  • http://kwomack.com kathy

I am only able to get about half of your fabulous videos.
I keep getting server errors. would you mind looking into this?
I just want to get started!

  • Fleur

    Zuzana and Fred,

I would like to ask for your help.

My dilemma today I feel like doing a 500 something but I am hesitating between The 550 Killer Reps that you did on November 15th and the 500 Rep Workout that you did on November 10th.
Both are good for full body workout/stretch.

Please pick one for me I will do it tonight after work :)

  • Michelle G.

I’m in. Cant wait to see your new workouts, they are the best part of my day and I usually cant wait until the mornings to workout again.

So for me monday’s workout was Rock’n No Rolls (love the name).

  • http://www.TheAnswerTo.gr TheoCoach

This is what I am already doing plus workout on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. What I need to do is maybe do a no sugar challenge. Hmmm now that I am thinking about it I will put it in my daily habits log – No sugar for the next 7 days.

Have a great time on the Challenge Zuzana ;-)

    Theodore from Greece

  • Adriana Molnar

    Hi Zuzana!
I’m in your fitness challenge!I wasn’t able to follow your 30 day without sugar challenge before, but now I’m sure I will do this.Thank you for being a everyday motivation to doing my workouts. When I’m depresed and I feel tired and I’m not in the mood for my workout, I just watch one of your videos and I move my ass…
    Have great workouts!

P.S. I did the Rock’n no rolls workout and I think there are 5 and not 4 intervals as it is posted.Am I wrong?

  • Stephanie

Yesssss!!!! So loving this Workout Challenge and I love how you’re incorporating options to some of your exercises. Like the one legged squat is so difficult for me.

    Thanks!!!!

  • Tatiana

Hi Zuzana, I just bumped inn to your workouts by accident on youtube about two weeks ago. Let me just say, you changed my life. I use to go to the gym and hated doing the same thing over and over again, it was just a drain. But since I found you I have completely changed how I look at exercising. I love doing your workouts, I look forward to it every single day. The good thing about it is that I can keep up really well because I use to be an athlete and I am pretty strong when it comes to pull ups and push ups. I love the intensity in such little time, I never thought that could be possible before. I was in a very great shape before I started working out with you, but after only two weeks, I was amazed at the results. I just can’t thank you enough. I haven’t been so inspired in a long time. You are the best!!!

  • Luisa of LA

Count me in though I’m already doing your training from monday to friday (I’ll add Saturday) on my lunch break. I really really love the body weight workout, it’s perfect for me since I’m doing this training outside. I don’t need anything, just my weight.
Hey, your video is blocky. :( It’s hard to watch since it stopped often. :(
Thanks to all your hard work, Zuzana and Frederick (and Sean too). You are both heaven sent to all of us. Love ya! :X

  • http://youtube Lada

I am so in for this challenge!!! I love your workouts and how you do everything from home. It would be cool if we could post before and after pics. Good Luck everyone!!!

Thanks for all the great inspiring workouts!!!

  • Azier-’di

I’m in :-) I usually have a 2 day break, a day during the week and on Sunday……so I’ll switch up. I took yesterday off {lol} so I guess that’s messed this weeks challenge up for me.

Done and I feel really high now.
    Maybe too high…
I was just doing a kind of ridiculous funk moves on Kelis new single. At least it made my boyfriend laugh LOL.
I love working out. I did so two workouts today one early in the morning Rock’n No Roll and the 550 Reps to your suggestion in the evening. I have no power anymore but feel really good.
My time for 550 Rep 27mins14. That was a blast in a good way :D.
Thank you for all your work and thoughts as I often say I like Bodyrock you guys are really awesome and so I have no reason to not follow you. As you said anyone can do it, so yesI totally agree on that and you could add: Once you try it you get addicted to Bodyrock.

Is the one workout you post everyday the only workout you do for the whole day?

  • Crown

Hey, I’ve been following your workouts recently (maybe for 2 to 3 weeks now). At first I was just doing them for fun because the exercises are different and always changing so I never get bored. But just very recently I started noticing changes in my body (especially my upper body is getting more toned) and all of a sudden my endurance has been improved (I can run a lot longer now). And other than your workouts I haven’t been incorporating other changes into my lifestyle.

So thanks very much and continue with the great work.

Hi Zuzana has really motivated me this year to stay in shape. I wonder how long did it take to get to have that body in shape? And if you could help me with an exercise plan that help me lose 12 pounds and get in shape.

    Thanks
    Juliz

    Hi Zuzana,

I’ve been away from execrise for awhile, due to sciatica nerve problem, I’ve just started walking again, for the pass two weeks. So, I think tomorrow I’m going to try and jog a little bit then if I’m okay with that–I’ll be working back on your execrise. I’ve been watching you each and every day. So, wish me luck and hopefully, I get back into the swing of thing real soon.

I’m a little late seeing this video, but its exactly what I needed. I’ve been missing workouts lately and definitely needed someone to challenge me on it. Although I’m not at the point where I can complete most of your workouts, I’ve been going back and doing some of the body weight workouts that seem more at my level. Keep being a wonderful inspiration!

    Ahojky,
Snazim se usporadat tydenni plan zahrnujici praci, dve ditka, cviceni a uceni. No uvidime jak to dopadne. Ditka finisuji se znamkami aneb konec skolniho roku se blizi a s tim hlavni prazdniny.
