Anniversary Night Workout and Recipe
Hi guys,
As you can see BodyRock.Tv is back up and running. The site was down for about 5 days and Frederick and I were pretty frantic during this time. We couldn’t access the site, we couldn’t respond to comments, and even our email was off line. It was like we had lost our connection to our community here and the last two years of our lives! In the middle of all of the stress and worry over the site something truly remarkable happened that we want to share with you. For 5 straight days we were incredibly stressed out, worried that BodyRock would be down for god knows how long- then around supper time on day 5 we were driving to get a bite to eat. Frederick turned the radio down and started this little comedic routine poking fun at all of the challenges that we faced. He stared making light of our worries and doubts with these little jokes. Soon we were both giggling and smiling.Frederick can do spot on impressions and he is one of the funniest people I know. Pretty soon we were roaring with laughter and what had made us tense and full of anxiety just 5 minutes before – all of the stress that had completely dominated our week for 5 days straight melted away in an instant. As amazing as that was, the incredible thing was that not 5 minutes after we had our laughs we got a completely unexpected phone call and offer of help from the other side of the world that turned the whole situation with our site around. A few hours later the site was back up. I believe – rather I know, that this was not just a coincidence. We shifted our mental attitude which impacted our physiology and boom the help we were looking for arrived on cue. I don’t want to sound all Anthony Robbin’s on you guys, but it was a tremendously powerful experience of our thoughts lining up and allowing positive things to happen even when it looked like no solution was possible.
It’s really great to be back – and to kick things off I wanted to share this fantastic vegetarian recipe that I made for our 3rd year wedding anniversary dinner. I made this dish for a special occasion and it certainly tastes wonderful, but there is really nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to the ingredients. You can easily make this dish at home and it is quick and inexpensive to prepare. It’s really worth a try, especially if you are looking for a nice light healthy meal. You can see my step by step recipe and preparation guide in our Diet category (soon).
I also managed to squeeze in a workout on our anniversary (you know me). This is a new 12 minute bodyweight workout routine. The only thing that you will need is your Gymboss Interval Timer (click the blue link for more details). It was a great sweat, and I will be back tomorrow with a full tutorial video for this workout where I will be going over each of the exercises with some tips for keeping proper form and getting the most sweat out of the 12 minutes as possible – and believe me if you push hard with this one you will need to mop the floor when you are done :)

I started this blog while BodyRock.Tv was down just to have a way of trying to keep in touch with you.
