Hi BodyRockers,

A while ago we invited you guys to send in your fitness related pictures of yourself – doing the workouts, showing off your progress etc. The response was amazing. So many people sent in pictures that we are still trying to sort through them all, but we wanted to post at least some of the pictures now.

BodyRockers photos and videos will be an ongoing feature, so if you would like to share your fitness photos with us you can send them to: info@bodyrock.tv

Hi Zuz and Freddie!!

You both are soooo incredible… I know you hear it all the time, but its true! If I could truly express to you in words the impact you have made in my life I would… You bring so much energy, passion, and life to everything that you do! You offer great encouragement and support to your friends and followers. Thank you. I have been following you guys since mid-April… but life just hasn’t been the same. I am so much more aware of my body, mind and spirit as one. I have always wanted to get to this point… and I have made it! Its funny because, I feel like I know you both… I feel like I get up each day and spend time with you… like we are friends. How strange it is that I feel so connected to you and see you every day… but you don’t even know who I am. I feel like I could call you up and invite you over for dinner. So I will. If you are ever in the Niagara Falls region of Ontario, I would love to have you both over for dinner. You can even stay with me :)  I will be moving to France in January for about a year, and then you can find me there!

I wish you all the best in everything that you do. No matter where you are, no matter where I am… we ARE connected :) See you tomorrow!

ps  Attached is a recent photo. I have lost some pounds and you can see some definition forming in my abs. I dont have great muscular foundation (like Zuz), but my arms are significantly better (a little more noticeable in person). I think the arms and legs will take a little longer to build up some tone and definition. The sandbag is on its way, so I cant wait for a new challenge and especially to change things up a bit! Sorry I dont have a before pic… I couldnt find any decent ones.

This last one is bleary but it was taken today spontaneously after a run and the Fat Arse workout that I really pushed both so I was pretty tired!  I sort of managed a smile!

Hi Z, my name is She, attached is a recent photo of me. I’m a National Figure Competitor and i change up my workout routines every 3 to 4 weeks, to keep my body guessing. Your workouts have helped me take my training to the next level by incorporating things that Ive never tried before, like 1 leg squats, which Ive recently mastered. LOL.

    Wow those bodies are amazing!!!

    Now I will never send my pictures working out,
    the thing is that I am not really fat for the average people, however Do I have fat on my tummy? yes, Do I have fat on my legs? yes, Do I have fat on my arms? yes, but on normal clothes you would not say I am fat but in a bikini forget it!
    I have been a follower since May and the muscle in my arms are starting to show, I have not lost any pounds. Right now I am eating way better than before, I absolutely give everything I can in every workout, so I don´t know why I don´t start to see myself (not even a bit) slim, I believe it takes time…

    Now I feel a bit sad…

    So inspiring! I can’t wait to be a success story myself!
    I’ve been doing your workouts for a few weeks now and I already feel stronger. I am a beginner and I can already do some of the exercises at an intermediate level!!!
    Funny story: every single evening, after doing one of your workouts, I call my boyfriend and tell him “I swear, I’ve never sweat so much in my entire life” but then the next day comes and I sweat more and more and more and I have to call him and say: “you are not going to believe it, today’s workout was even more brutal…. etc” I’m sure he thinks I am going insane!! I am seriously going to melt one of these days! But I love it ;P

    Hi Zuzana,

    I’ve been doing your workouts for the last 7 months ,i also run about 4km …as in in one day i do a workout and the next i go and run….i drink at least 2l of water,i eat 4 times per day i tried 6-7 times but i only gained weight , i eat clean food ,i have days when the only thing that i eat is some soup and i still can’t loose weight,and get rid of the cellulite i’ve made from birth controls …my boyfriend is a fitness trainer and he sees progres in my strenght and in the way that i feel but i can’t loose weight….i’m begging you please help….i’ve always been an active person,i did martial arts and dancing,and other sports ….i am a very active person and it kills me that i can’t lose weight….i recently started to loose some weight but not much and that because what i eat is only fruit mostly watermellon…but not much…i’m 1,68 cm high and 70kg i think i have now ….i weight much more a month ago…..i starve myself in order to lose weight and get lean….i don’t understand what is going on…..HELP PLEASE ZUZANA!!!!

    :0 amazing bodies. Well, I absolutely loooove Zuzana’s videos. :D I share them to my relatives, maybe some will be intersted about them (they are lazy…)

    I’m… a little overweight, odd shaped… tummy… and fat upper arms. But I have started to eat a little bit healtier and I’m willing to start Zuzanas workouts, little by little cuz I’m not at the point to keep the rythm.

    Hopefuly by next years my tummy will be flater and my ass thigther.

    Hi Andreea~
    I’m not Zuzana, but I would suggest you perhaps eat more and maybe more balanced meals..try eating your complex carbohydrates in the morning and stick to protein/veg/fats in the evenings. Starving yourself is not the way to go!

    When your body is feeling some progress why the weight does counts so much ?

    Doesn´t matter how much you weight! Perhaps this is a reason why Zusanna did not weight her the last two years. It makes you go crazy.
    Why is it so important to lose weight!?Who´s wish is it?Yours?
    There are more reasons why loosing fatweight doesn´t work:
    Hormons!e.g. stress is poison for your body and soul.
    Thyroidhypofunction could be also a reason.

    Milykonijtnje (did I spell it right) Don’t feel bad, as long as YOU can see a difference that’s the most important thing! You say you are starting to see definition yet you haven’t lost any pounds? Remember this: Muscle weighs more than fat, so even if you are building muscle and losing fat, it won’t show on the scales.

    Do what I do, and go by how your clothes fit. To be honest, I threw away my scales years ago! They are a bad indicator of weight loss! If you are feeling and looking fitter and healthier then who needs scales?

    Keep up the good work, and don’t feel bad!

    You have to remember, that the number on the scale does not mean much when you are regularly exercising. An increase in muscle will not look different on the scale (it caused me to gain weight on the scale), don’t be discouraged, you have to just stick with it!

    PLEASE ZU COULD YOU DO MORE OR WRITE IN MORE ABOUT DIET. I LOVE YOUR POSTS AND VIDEOS. I think most people struggle in this area because it is such a gray area for them and you clear things up for us with your training methods which have helped so many people and so I wish many good things come your way for changing our lives and making us wake up. Thanks for all your help and support right back at you girl and boy…..we can’t forget freddie because he is in this too making it all happen.

I’m always talking about you two like we’ve been friends for years to anyone who will listen.hahaha When I talk to my fiance’ ( who is the one who found your website) and I say Zuzana and Freddy says…. or something like that he’s like who? Have I met these people? lol Then I feel a little silly but you make it this way and I think it’s a good thing. I like that I feel like you’re my personal trainers. I look forward to getting on here and checking to see the new video or workout.

    hey guys, i recently stopped your workouts to try something called p90x, but after seeing these pictures it made me think twice. to do p90x(its an hour or longer) i have to get up at 5:00 to fit it into my schedule. your workouts are way more efficient and i was getting great benefits when i was doing them. also, they’re free! i know you’ve heard it a million times, but thanks again for great workouts, food and support. you’ve touched millions of people.

    I would highly suggest to read “Master your metabolism” by Jillian Michaels. We need well balanced diet of “real” food in order for our metabolism to work right and of course you need to eat enough for your body size and the level of exercise you perform every day.

    Thank you, Roxy…I am going to be 53 next month. I love Zuzana’s workouts..been doing them since last November and really notice the extra definition in the arms and abs (you would think all the surfing would have done that, but instead it was from Z’s quickie variety workouts). I haven’t changed in weight (love my meals too much), but I am definitely stronger and leaner and stoked with the results!

    You know, if you are working out and eating well balanced meals then it’s normal to gain weight while loosing fat. The numbers on the scale mean nothing. Muscles weigh more than fat. Remember getting fit is not about revolution it’s about evolution. Be persistent and patient. You’ll get there!

    Is not the idea of loosing pounds is about getting that nice lean body ,i thought as well that i might have something going on with my tyroid , after every workout that i do i am soaked ,completely soaked and i always push myself to my maximum effort in order to see some results,i’m not the kind of person that throuws the towell i am really trying, i am little happy beacuse my boyfriend and my brother told me that the way my muscles looked before changed as in i am much more toned ….my metabolism is very laisy , and to CANADIAN i tried eating balanced meals ,i’m still doing that but a guys body ,metabolism is not the same as a girls ,guys need a bigger amount of carbohydrates ,i started seeing some results by cutting the carbohydrates and eating more veggies and fruit….and walking every day 10 km beside the workouts….i won’t give up….because i love zuzana’s workouts and everything that she gives us as in learning….i just got my gymboss interval timer ,my mom brought it to me fro UK,i live in Romania….

    Hi Andreea,
    I also agree that starving yourself is not a good idea, you should go back to the healthy habits you here talking about (they seemed to work for you, even if they didn’t seem to help you loose weight) Also, do you think you’re not loosing weight because you see it on the scale, or because you see it on the mirror, or feel it on your clothes?
    From what I understood about your comment, I suggest you talk to your doctor about your birth control… What you are using might not be what works best for you. Ask about other birth control methods he/she can suggest for you.
    Good luck and don’t give up, but remember good health comes before loosing some extra pounds, the weight should come off eventually.

    Hey Juliana,

    Cute dog! My cat, Filbert, watches me when I work out also, and gets underneath me when I do Push-ups etc. I try and tap him evey time I lower my body ( i think he likes it) but it cerainly adds a fun element to my workouts. The only part he dislikes is the skipping rope.

    You and the other posters are in great shape – congratulations. I noticed that when I incorporated the Pull-ups into my workout my fitness level entered a whole new realm and I saw results almost immediately.

    Must be nice to work out outside in the fresh air!

    Great photos! I wanted to say everyone looks great. I think it’s so important to recognise the beauty in everyone no matter where you are in relation to your ‘ideal’ I think we all have the potential to get into better shape and of course then a healthy fit body makes us feel great and look attractive to others. I think everyone wants to feel loved and accepted for themselves and so it’s great to know people find us attractive. It’s so important to really hear a compliment when you get one. Also most people seem to downplay or underestimate themselves, or how much they are really loved or appreciated by others. So accept and enjoy yourself just like you easily accept your friends and their bodies. Thanks guys for such a wonderful and sincere site, for your inspiration and obvious kindness to everyone!

    Andrea you probably need to come off of the birth control to lose it. I also gained weight I cannot lose because of the pill and I havent been able to try another pill because here in Italy the selection is very limited! If you can consider other methods of birth control I would suggest you try getting off the pill and see if the weight starts to come off. You can find out about alternatives from researching it online and speaking to your doctor. There are many options available.

    You’re gaining weight because you are stressed out and not feeding yourself properly. Follow Zuzanna’s diet and exercise and LIFE advice, that means mellowing out a little bit and enjoying life, and you will see results!

    Oh I’d like to see before and after pictures…or results with time it took to reach those…
    It’s my fourth week I’m training with Zuzanna and I already feel more energized and strong. I beat everytime my results, it is what keeps me going. I didn’t loose weight but it feels so great after a workout! :)

    Hi Andreea,

    You have posted this problem before and I think it’s important enough to spend some time making some suggestions. First, maybe you need to consult with a nutritionist. But, you need to eat enough to not “starve” if you hear your stomach growling then you will be very probably putting on weight. In you case maybe it make sense to spend time measuring your caloric intake and try to control the numbers with an understanding of the calories burned during your workouts.

    As an example I quote from an article on skipping rope: http://www.tinajuanfitness.info/articles/art030299.html “Calories burned.
    A 150-pound person (you will burn less or more depending on how much you weigh), skipping rope at 60 to 80 skips per minute will burn 143 calories in 15 minutes. This is considered a “low skipping rate” as compared to skipping at 120 skips a minute that has a similar caloric expenditure as running at six miles an hour.”

    Your body will not lose weight if you are not eating enough. It sounds silly, but if you eat too little, your body goes into starvation mode and doesn’t want to burn your fat up too quickly. There are many sites that describe this – sometimes the quickest way to lose weight is to eat a little bit more. Give it a try for two weeks (you won’t put any weight on, and it is worth trying). Add another 200 calories to your daily intake and see what happens.

    Dear Milykonijtnje,

    Don’t feel bad for not seeing a change of numbers on a scale. A scale knows nothing of how much fat and muscle your body has. ozziepossum is right. Instead of depending on what you see on the scale, go by what you see on the mirror. Do you like what you see?? if it’s hard to tell if you look slimmer or more atheletic then you could always take pictures every week or every 2 weeks to help you see the changes in your body. Diet plays a major role in weight loss. Make sure to eat mostly vegetables, fruits, seeds and some lean meats.

    Hi Andrea, unresolved chronic tension in your body keeps stress hormones elevated. With insulin being elevated any sugar that gets into your system, especially the fruit sugars, unfortunately gets converted to fat and stored in fat cells. Do the workouts, eat BALANCED meals, and most importantly, find ways to wind down and release stress and tension from your spine and body. You’ll soon begin to lose fat weight.

    Hi Andrea,
    Ok, you said you can’t lose weight, have you consider your size? Maybe, you’re gaining weight just because of muscle if you’re building from Z’s workout. I would go with the size of clothes instead of looking for the weighing scale. Keep in mind, muscle is much heavier than fat. I agree with all that stress is also added in gaining unwanted weight or starving yourself is not a good idea either.

    Definitely agree with Ozzie!!! I use size of the clothes either NOT the scale… Just make sure we’re doing our training regularly and overtime, we’ll see the result.

    I have never been sporty in my life, but now I am going to start with your programm for absolute beginners. Next week I am going to Barcelona for some weeks and I think a relaxing atmosphere is the perfect moment to change my lifestyle.
    Zuzana you have the most beautyfull body I`ve ever seen!
    I have some questions for you:
    When did you start with workout? And have you been sporty your hole life?
    Do you feel different since your not eating meat?

    hey andrea, i think the reason your having trouble looking lean like you want to is because OF the birth control that you’ve been taking, or already have taken. My sister had the depo provera shot five months ago, and now shes having problems loosing weight that she couldn’t control gaining. i don’t know how she CAN loose weight, she just did a seven day detox that we bought at the vitamin shop a week ago. SHE DIDN’T LOOSE ANY WEIGHT! if anyone who has had depo and found a way to loose the weight, i would REALLY appreciate your advice for my sis, but andrea all i can say is if you are taking the depo provera, STOP. and if you have stopped taking it, how long ago was that? please let me know :)

    … overtraining is counterproductive too when it comes to weight loss, just like undereating. Maybe take a short break and come up with a new plan.

    Hi zuzuna..am on the second week of my work out and i already lost 23 pounds on just your workout alone.. i eat the normal food i eat but i have to say the truth your workouts are really amazing and it works.. i went from 145 pounds to 120..and everyone has noticed the tremendous change in me.. everyone is aking me how i loost so much weight…am really thanksful…and my last comment is for your “Fitness -Extreme Workout Challnege 1″.in the first part you beat your personal best in 13 mintutes while doing 2 rounds. but i finished 2 rounds in 11 mintutes and 24 seconds…thanks so much for those challenges i am a believer now

    wow this is indeed something to give a try. my boyfriend and myself just decided the healthy way of life is probably the best way. I’ve wanted to shed some lbs for years and i think Zuzana may be the ticket! very interactive! I’ll keep everyone posted! today is day 1. wish me luck!
