Yay!! Finally, i was worried about you two. I didnt know you were going to victoria, my family live outs there its so beautiful and way way to cold for me. i hope your loving it. I laughed when u talked about teenages in the small villages. I grew up in one of those on a dirt road way way up in northern ontario and actually there is alot to do if your creative and into outdoor stuff but I much prefer the city. Life is just easier in the city and I prefer the sofisticated life more. (I now live in Firenze) Thanks god your safe. i cross my finger that freddy gets the flat and I will hold my thumbs that zuzana gets it to :D

Wow, you are literally driving across Canada. I haven’t looked at a Canadian map in awhile, so I looked up a map and you have a ways to go. I can see it as going from Michigan to Oregon in the US terms. That bear picture is really sad. I don’t think it deserved that. BOO!

i’m american who the hell is terry fox?

I was hoping for fresh inspiration in the Bodyrock workouts, but nothing posted since the Sexy Bod Breakdown…so, less than enthusiastically, I repeated it for the second time.. This time I felt pretty fresh so I did my 45 minutes hard hill run and then hit the SBB for 10 rounds in 19:06. I took 30 seconds off my same effort 8 days ago, plus my previous effort was with a easy 45 dog jog to warm up, so I was really happy with this. I am liquifying! I am curious if I will get just as sore this time or if my last effort banished all cellulite and flubber forever! Either way I have to peel myself off the seat or I will be stuck here!

That bear was more than a wee bit disturbing to me :(…I wasn’t sure of the point – unless the sight of a hanging dead bear disuades other bears from coming into the area? If that’s the case…how long can a creature hang before it’s a rotting carcass? It’s weird how people can have such different perceptions about what’s normal! Perhaps lodging a Moose between one’s legs is also an accepted norm in some parts of the world…;)! Love and safe continued travels to you precious peeps and your furry companions!

This looks like a fabulous trip, thanks for sharing! I’d love to see some of your road trip food choices, since it’s so hard to find healthy things during car trips when the packed food runs out!

I love getting lucky and running into a fruit or veg stand, but usually it’s some old banana that’s been at the gas station since last century and I end up eating alot of peanuts, coffee and subway. Can you share?

wow This is so ironic. I looked up the Terry Fox story on Google and I can’t believe I haven’t’ heard of this before. I find it ironic because my fiance’ recently ( September 2009 actually…) had to have his right leg amputated from just below the knee down because of a vein cancer. He is determined to run again. <3 It's inspiring to see someone I love push through something so hard. The Terry FOx story is sad but I agree very inspiring. I'm going to show this to my fiance' as soon as he gets home. I know he'd be inspired by it too.

Your dogs are so cute:) I have been following you guys and LOVE the site. I am in Los Angeles and people say we are twins, I am a Private Trainer too and follow very similar training techniques. It is nice to know that others believe in your style too when there is so much diversity in the fitness industry. We have so much in common it is silly. Anyways, safe travels.:)

I was very disturbed by that image, too. The same day I read of some bears that were too friendly with humans that would need to be “taken care of”. Poor bears can’t win if they are friendly to humans or not!

I think it’s fantastic that you road-tripped your way across Canada – especially you Freddy the Canadian!! You need to brush up on some Canadian facts!! ;) Thanks for sharing your adventures.

To answer your question about living in nowhere ville northern Ontario as a kid: you get to do a lot more stuff than city kids. You have dirt bikes, snowmobiles, ATV’s, fishing, hiking, swimming, climbing & everything you can imagine outdoorsy type of activities – camping and huge fires and parties where you do not have to worry about the authorities showing up and bust everyone out.

Victoria, B.C. !!! Congratulations and welcome!! Vancouver Island has got to be the most ideal spot to live in Canada. I do encourage you to visit the islands: Pender, Salt Spring, Galiano, Horny to name a few. They are good getaways. And drive to Tofino!! Tour the island in the summer – good times.
You will find the produce is amazing. Second to none in all of Canada. There are some cool farmers’ market you should check out.

I will be in your hood in October – maybe you should do a group workout in a park?! ….

PS: if time permits it, you should check out the West Coast Trail – you need to register well in advance to receive a permit to hike it. It’s quite something.

When you come back through Thunder Bay again, you should drive up Mountain McKay to do a workout up there or Hillcrest park so the Sleeping Giant is behind you when you do your workout. It will be pretty.

If you need a place to stay again, I’ll call my parents up to host you. They are right off the highway. You can take my old bedroom since I don’t live in Thunder Bay anymore. :P

So, I’ve been watching you guys for about a year now and I love your site!

I’m born and raised in Sault Ste Marie and it was really neat to see that you were in my hometown! I’m glad you enjoyed our waterfront – the body of water is the St. Mary’s River. (I’m not sure if you noticed that the city across the river is Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan).

And the reason why our downtown is dead on a Saturday is because everyone is at camp! Or at the beach! We have beautiful area surrounding us and there are a lot of outdoorsy people in the Soo so unless there is some sort of community function on the weekend most people are out and about enjoying the outdoors!

I laughed at the footage of Zuzanna with the geese. Those geese can actually get pretty nasty and give chase! I’m glad that didn’t happen!

I hope you enjoyed your drive up to Wawa. It’s a gorgeous drive. The provincial park you would have driven through (Lake Superior Provincial Park) is the park that I backpack in. It’s such gorgeous pristine wilderness!

Moose? Grizzlies? Don’t forget the whales. I think you have time to catch the Orca spotting tours, and depending how long you stay you might catch the grey whale migrations. You’ll be able to check out “what’s going on” offshore locally, and these are not experiences to be had in Central Europe.

My husband and I live in Whistler which is only about an hour and a half drive along a stunning coastal highway north from Vancouver. We are super active here in the mountains and I’m convinced you guys would love this place. Do you plan on coming up to see Whistler? Would be so cool do film a workout at the top of the mountain.
