Dear F&Z,
Greetings from Monterrey, MX.
I have been following you since Dec 31st last year. By that time I had 2 months attempting belly dance and then I found you. Yes, Zuz was teaching belly dance steps. Do you remember? But then I continued looking some of your videos and another story has been written since then. I started from 0 fit. I was slim but I had no strength, no flexibility, no endurance… nothing. I never paid attention to that, although I was living a healthy lifestyle I did not know how important was to strengthen the body. So, I really started from 0 with you. A friend laughed louder when I told him that on my first day I had done 5 baby push ups and felt exhausted. But now, it is almost 365 days doing your workouts faithfully.
As many here, I started with you as a beginner, but by April I managed to follow your pace at least, not your strength of course. During months I did your routines 7 days per week until I felt I needed 1 day rest which was until June. I think it was when I was really pushing hard. Then by July I wore bikini by first time in my life. Thanks to you F&Z!!! I worked hard for a 6 pack although I only achieved a 4! Sorry! :P Still the goal is there… I am 41yo woman btw. I am very shy, not bold enough to send you a picture in fewer clothes! Shhh! But I want to share with you the joy of my new discovered strength and flexibility. This pic was taken about two months ago. I was hanging out in the park when suddenly I felt like climbing a tree. I hadn’t done it in ages… but then in a blink I was there. Those who were with me were surprised (including me) of my agility, that’s why they took me the pic. So, it shows just another token of how your workouts help. It is not just abo! ut building a stunning body, but also – as I have learnt from you- it is about functional strength.
My new strength helps me to wake up at 5:30am, do workout routine, cool down doing 2 hours house chores afterwards and cope with another 10 hours job on daily basis. F&Z, I follow you with those challenges. In particular I continue with that one of pistols. I cannot do them yet, but it was the same with burpees at the beginning, back then I was unable to jump! And now I am able to do 70. I am very thankful. Your help has enriched my life. For that I am deeply thankful. Words are not enough I know, but from time to time you both are in my prayers. Please, remember to work out your spirit too by trusting in that Amazing Grace you have heard.
