Core Split

This is an excellent exercise for building your core and upper body strength. You will also improve your balance and flexibility. I am using  a Dip Station for this exercise which is a great bodyweight exercise equipment for your home workouts. Watch the video to see the proper form and an easier variation for beginners.

I would appreciate seeing alternatives of how to perform exercises without the need for dip stations or sandbags. Can you post non-equipment alternatives?

Hi! I do not have a dip station either so I just got creative and I used the corner of the foot board of my bed and a table on the other side that was the same height and it worked pretty well. I also tried it using my pull up bar in the doorway and pulled my legs up toward my chest. Not exactly the same thing and more difficult than using the bed and table but i just worked with what I had to use:) Hope this might help you come up with a creative alternative!
