Can’t wait for your next post abt your LA experience. Keep us updated! We’re all excited for you :)

I did this workout early morning today and beat my personal record as well!

I finished it in 31:53 (old time 40:07) WOOT!!! Not too far behind from Z and F..I’m so proud of myself

The break dance push up and Knee tuck slowed me down a lot but unlike last time, I did ALL in PROPER FORM, although had to take lots of break but I didn’t give up!

  • Mary Lou

I did this back on 12/2/2010, my second day of bodyrocking, and only beat my score by about a minute (29:26) but I know form was WAY better. I broke it down to 3 sets of 20 reps, 10 for crunches, and ended up doing just regular breakdance push ups for the last round, but all in all, MUCH better!

Can’t wait to see pictures of your goings on in sun-shiny LA!

  • http://kenjibankhead.posterous.com/ ashtromanius

I took 7 mins off my score AND did all in the proper form, with not breaking up the breakdance in half. 30:30 :)

Way to beat Freddy, Zu!!!! :)

amazing workout!!! i was dripping by the end and my arms were on fire!!!!
i did not beat my time from november (27:32)… today i got 29:41 .. BUT i did every single rep with proper form!! every single pushup i did in the advanced position and everything else. last time i did halfway pushups and most were from my knees without the knee tuck,

SO in my opinion i did beat my personal best, even though i did not beat last times time.
i gave it my all8) and theres always room for improvement know. im so happy to be able to do all pushups without going to modified version!!

I HATE HATE HATE this workout! In a good way, of course. When I saw that this was our workout for today, I cried a little. 31.30 with frequent water breaks and lots of cussing.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Maria-Lanier/100000216811315 Maria Lanier

I beat my own record. I did this back in December 7, 2010 for 46 mins & 10 sec, today I did it for 38 mins & 29 sec. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Breakdance Push Up & Knee Tuck, James Bond Lunges, Side Crunches and Monkey Business. Jump Up & Star Lift is the only one really slow me down.

Yes, please show us your pictures, we’re all excited to see those. :)

Zuz, when you do a workout this intense do you still incorporate the 20 min of jump rope afterward?

  • Debra

I couldn’t find my old time but my time was incredible I completed it in 25 min 32 sec with good form and a few small breaks during the Break Dance Push Up & Knee Tuck. My husband was a couple minutes behind me he completed it in 27 min 58 sec.

  • Polly

Hi Susan, it will be great,if your fiance prepare daily for you and for us Bodyrockers recipes with pictures and video. What are you thinking guys??? We have our personal trainer Zuzanka and now personel chef? And all this FREE!!! Fantastic!!!

The star lift causes me significant back pain. Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

  • Anonymous

Haha too funny. I’m assuming you know who Freddy (husband and camerman) is now? And Brutus (the voice inside your head that wants to ‘betray you’ ala “Et tu, Brute” by convincing you that you don’t need to workout today, or don’t go as hard as you can, etc.)? Anyways, it’s great to watch our own transformation in perspectives!

In various videos Z comments at times ‘I didn’t skip after this workout cause I felt it was enough’. I do the same -if you have it in you, go ahead, but if the workout itself has kicked your butt, that’s good for that day ;-)

  • Anonymous

When I first starting working out with BR I had intense headaches every day after working out cause I wasn’t used to the blood pumping through my body so fast! It’ll get better. If it didn’t -I wouldn’t be doing this still haha.

  • Anonymous

When I first started bodyrock, there was no mention of skipping (Z started that as a ‘let’s step it up a notch before bikini season) and alot of the workouts were time based and all of them were between 12 and 20 minutes. I only did one a day and saw great results. I have started the 20 minutes skipping usually after a workout, if I have something left, but just listen to your body. If the 12 minutes was enough, that’s good. Just make sure it’s your body telling you and not your mind. Remember, our minds give up way before our bodies do!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/dana.vanbeneden Dana Grace Van Beneden

Thanks! I appreciate that! Bodyrockers are an amazing bunch of people!

  • http://www.facebook.com/dana.vanbeneden Dana Grace Van Beneden

I only managed 15 minutes of skipping so I guess the wedding is off:)

  • http://www.janetspreiter.com Janet

This got kinda ugly at the end! It took me 25:19, but I didn’t want to further tweak my shoulder (which is finally recovering nicely after 2 months) doing the knee tuck on the push ups, so I did all regular style push ups. My other part of the workout was about an hour of stand up paddleboard surfing as warm up. Good all around workout! Love it. Hope LA is a great adventure for you…keep us posted!

  • Dheana

I celebrated my 41st birthday with this beast!

It was my first time doing this workout and it was AWESOME… and a bit gruesome. Those breakdancer pushups seemed to go on FOREVER!

Finished in 29minutes and 37 sweaty seconds.

  • Dheana

Nice work Audra – as always, INSPRING! :-)

  • Dheana

Good job for pushing through Deleena – with that great attitude the strengthh will come in no time!

  • Dheana

Get out of town! No really, go! :) Great time Sam, that’s amazing!

  • Dheana

    *High Fives*

  • AudraFit

    Happy Birthday Dheana!

ahahah – I did the exact time as you Zuzi! 27’36″ with no modifications!
First when I saw your improvement I was amazed. Then I saw that all bodyrockers had made huge improvements and it helped me push hard.
I realized that not looking at the time until I finish the workout helps me push harder because I have no idea what my time looks like and I don’t want to have a bad surprise at the end. If I look at my timer, I know what to expect and don’t push as hard as a consequence.

The first and last exercises were the toughest – The first really targets your abs!
My time back in November was 31’54 (no modifications as well) so nice progress…

    Take care

  • AudraFit

I felt like dying after 50 ;) Awesome time Sam!

  • AudraFit

    Haha!

  • AudraFit

Wow! If you can do that with a bad shoulder, my hat’s off to you Janet =D I wasn’t even close to your time and my shoulders aren’t injured. Your one tough, strong, mama!

  • Lena

Didn’t beat my personal best on this unfortunately. Last time it took me 32:41 and yesterday 33:23. However, last time I modified the final exercise and did all of the push ups on both feet without knee tuck. This time I still couldn’t handle the knee tuck but I did all 60 reps of the Breakdance Pushups staying on one leg only. So I figure I still improved :) Next time I’ll do the knee tuck as well and hopefully beat my time! It was super hot and humid here yesterday which made it harder again. I was sweating like crazy! This was a really tough workout! 60 reps is a lot to handle – physically and psychologically! Thanks for motivating us to push through, as always!

Hope you guys are enjoying LA. Looking forward to photos soon :)

Btw is there a new diet challenge this week??

  • Lena

make sure you drink lots of water throughout the day before you workout and of course during and after as well!

  • http://www.janetspreiter.com Janet

Just trying to keep body and soul together! ;)

  • Donna

I just finished this workout and my time was 23.18. I still have sore abs from the exercise challenge I did on Monday “On the floor abs challenge”(which I discovered on my first jump up star lift) I got through all of them in proper form and great speed but the breakdance pushups and knee tuck finished me off and slowed me down big time. I was at 18min after the side crunches.I did 30 reps in proper form and the last 30 where just push ups on my knees. I felt like I was going to pass out and I was dripping in sweat I had to peel my clothes of me…lol I am happy with my time because I gave this workout all I had…Once again thanks for a great workout!!!!!

  • Kirry

    29 min and 21 sec.
I would like to thank my hairdresser for this score; the enrage you´ve caused today really payed off!

    Hi Hege -
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having these difficulties. Are you new to bodyrock? When I started bodyrocking I suffered from headaches and nausea for probably about the first month or so…I kept with BR, though, and now my body has just gotten used to it I guess -no more headaches when working out. The probably also, is that you could be drinking TOO much water. Definitely too little water causes headaches, but alot of times an excess of water as well, or what you eat before your workout determines how your body responds to when you are working out. Play around with what you eat before a workout, and how much you drink during your workout, until you find a balance for yourself. Life is usually guess and test for each of us unfortunately! And if you can only do half a workout -then just do half a workout until your body adjusts and start adding a little bit more and a little bit more. Progress at your own speed. For some, that may be slower than for others. Take care!

  • Chrysikou_anna

Hi guys ! I used to be a bodyrocker but I had to stop for a while because of aν injury I had.But now I am back again ! Today I did my first workout and completed this in 36′ 28” !I am really proud of my score! So….now I can’t wait for the next workout to come.Love you guys !Have fun in LA !

So I just did this workout again today and I best my personal best by 7 minutes with a time of 28:55 min and I was able do all of the exercise all 60 reps this time!!!! Very happy about this!!!!

  • http://zoe-in-wonderland.blogspot.com Zoe Quixote

well, you tried to kill me,but i survived it, haha.
first time, and including all breaks–and i took breaks in between every 10 breakdance push-ups, because i decided i wanted to do them all in full form instead of fast. so that part took me *forever*: 40 minutes :(
definitely coming back to this, i loved it!!!!!! thanks!

  • Micha79

well, I’ve been wanting to do this one for a few days, so I finally did it today.. I’m scrolling down and looking at all the scores… mine is 48:39!! why is it so high?! my goodness… I guess it’s good for the first time… I had good form, but I didn’t do the reptile part of the pushup, just a regular one.. Now I’ve got a base to only get better from… it was an INTENSE workout for me though!

    Thanks Z & F!! :)

Back in March, this was my 6th BR workout.  Back then, I did it all wrong.  I forgot about the push-ups in monkey business, & couldn’t do the break-dance push-up, period.  I substituted 35 girl push-ups back then, because 35 was all I could do.  My version of the workout took 19:11 3/7/11.

Today, I did the workout & focused on my form.  I know my lunges were deeper, my side crunches were full, and all of my push-ups were full.  In the break-dance push-ups, I did 12 reptile push-ups, but after that I did regular push-ups to maintain good form.  My time was 30:42

Thanks for these workouts – today’s workout really shows me that I’ve become stronger!

  • http://www.facebook.com/ildiko.mazar Ildikó Sünci Mázár

I felt like doing something after today’s “See Your Abs” workout – obviously I could not face additional minutes of skipping, so I decided to revisit one of the older workouts that was more strength training than cardio. I remembered that in March this 300-rep challenge took me over half an hour, so I thought I’ll do a shortened “leisurely” 200 rep version this time. I’m telling you, I was surprised how easy it was this time (wrong expression: it was still hard, especially the breakdance push up & knee tucks at the end, but I was not grinning and screaming). …maybe it’s because I skipped the hardest last 20 reps of all the exercises. Anyway, it still gave me a good workout after the intensive high knees and knee raises – it was a good combo. I didn’t hurry too much, so my time could have definitely been better, but it’s not too bad: 20:44

  • Lisa

Wow. I think this was one of the hardest Body Rock workouts out of the 56 I’ve done! My arms are jello right now. My time was 27:15. I did the knee tuck the whole 60 reps, but obviously had to take breaks and wipe the sweat off my face…not to mention telling Brutus where to go…

Thanks for loving us, trainer Zuzana!

I just finished this in 33:00 min, the only exercise i changed was the side crunches to star crunch+toe touchx60 . i changed it because i have scoliosis and the side crunch feels weird.

i did everything in good form. All the breakdance push ups in advance mode.

22 min!!  Insanely brutal workout.  Loved it!!!

This was my lunch workout today.  I was alone, so I picked a longer workout.  I beat my last time!  29:24.  For the break dance pushups, I did 1-leg PU rather than reptile PU because I didn’t review the workout closely enough.  I really like this workout!  Thanks :)

  • MariaBjørgJepsen

I just found my oldest time score from 8 months ago = 18:23!
You know what? it is the exact same time I got today. But I am very proud, because back then I only made tiny Jump Tucks and had to modify 50 of the B.D. Push-ups. Today I did EVERYTHING in the evil proper form!!! I tell you, those last 20 push-ups at the end were a living hell. I am drenched in sweat and so, so happy :)

THANK YOU, Zuzana & Freddy!Love, Maria

  • Samanthina

Hi guys, i did this workout half an hour ago.I should have done the workout that Zuzana post during their Burpee Tour, but i did this, because it’s one of my favourite. And i’m very happy because i managed to beat my old time-30:29min.,(new)-23:05min.

  • Vivi

I did it today and beat my PB !! Yeah !!
Last time was 22.52 min and today : 18.44 min !!
60 jump tucks are killers for legs and the 60 Breakdance PU, very hard for shoulders !

I’m sweating like it was raining !!

  • MariaBjørgJepsen

I was, too ;) It felt GREAT!!!
