I can’t wait to do this workout tomorrow! I am a day behind so I’m hoping to catch up this weekend. I’m going to take Sunday off and start with you again on Monday. YAY!!

    • ZoeRocker

That bit at the end where you jump in the snow is awesome!!

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

      this will be sunday’s WO

    • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

Aaaaggghh!! I am so behind!  But it’s okay because I have the weekend.  This week was very busy for me with 2+ jobs and just being tired in general.  Tonight we picked up my stepdaughter from the airport, and I was going to work out tonight but I am so tired, so I’ll do Day 4 Week 2 tomorrow morning before work, and then (gulp!) maybe this afterwards?  Or maybe Sean’s from day 3/week 2, and do this whole shabang Sunday.

I got my work cut out for me! :)

    • Anonymous

I decided to do sean’s workout tonight since it was only 6 min!
so I did it, at least my version of it since there was no video!

I decided to do a squat and preacher curl with two dumbbells, so squat down put elbows against inside of knees, curl weight up and down then stand up an squeeze bum, repeat  I started with 10lb dumbbells did 15, then dropped to 5 lb dumbbells for 20 more reps so total 35!
then I did bent over rows with 15 lb dumbbells and did 50 pausing at the top to squeeze!

      plus a burpee for erin!

now I only have two to catch up!  ha ha!

    • MariaBjørgJepsen

I used my 15 kilo sandbag for Lisa’s and did 150 Regular High Knees each time, because I can’t jump with rope in my flat. 150 reps more made up for the “cheating” :)

      Lisa’s: 09:36.

      Sean’s w. 15 kilos:
      3 min. Biceps: 82
3 min. Rows: 140 (squeezing good at the top - auch!)

Now: FINALLY off to pick up my Dip Station, YEHAAAA!!! :D

    • Anonymous

      hahahaha..Lisa is great!

    • Anonymous

      Great scores!!!
I finally got my Dip Station yesterday ..and its great ;) so enjoy and have fun with yours ;)

      have a great weekend!

    • http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage.asp?id=VW_STEPH Stephanie

Ahhh I am kicking myself SO HARD!!!… I must have double pressed my timer (using a touch screen BlackBerry, doi!) and so I don’t have an official time for the 600 rep… I so sad! :(  I asked my husband how long he thought I’d been going (because I didn’t even look at the time before working out) and he said between 10-15 mins. So that’s all I have! Boooo! The good news is that I DID the workout anyways… So that’s the silver lining. :P I’d only done 50 lunges and realised whilst doing the squats, so I did 50 squats, added the remaining lunges in and then did the remaining squats. Nice little break haha.

Did Seans 2 exercises with 2 dumbells = 10kgs and did 55 Bicep curls in 3 mins and 55 bent over rows in 3 mins. Fancy that!

Thank you guys!!! Loved the snow at the end… I totally understand where you’re coming from Lisa-Marie, our snow is poo – AND it stops the whole country when we do get it, haha!

      I LOVE BEING A BODYROCKER! X

    • http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage.asp?id=VW_STEPH Stephanie

      Wowy time & scores! :D
      You KILLED those rows, yeeha!

    • http://ofdreamsandseams.blogspot.com/ Katja

      The word: FOCUS ;-)

Well Lisa-Marie, I doubt you are going to say “wow” to my time, but I will definitely say “wow that was hard” and “thanks”! :-)

      20:34:30

I  thought the worst would be the lunges, but this workout kept getting harder and harder.

Sean’s video wasn’t up, but I did 3 min. of biceps curls with two 3 kilo dumbbells (60 reps.) and then bent over rows with the same dumbbells, 3 min., 57 reps.

By legs and arms will be screaming tomorrow, and I have to do Mondays workout, since I missed it at the beginning of the week..

Happy rest day to all who have earned it for themselves!

    • Anonymous

My word of the day is: Smile!!! :)

      I did Lisa-Marie’s in 18:01
      Did Sean’s with 3.5kg, bicep curls: 42 and Bent over : 56!

600 Reps done + weighted workout and I’m ready for the WEEKEND!!! whoohho :)

Have a great weekend BodyRockers where ever you are!! :)

      cheers!!

2# 4 min countdown. Max reps of Get ups.

      3# 15 rounds 30/10
      - elbow plank jack sliders (instead of doing jumping jacks i put my gloves in my feet and slide them in and out)
      - mountain runners

      + 4 min tabata skipping

      MY SCORES:

Outstanding Scores Maria :) impressed as always!!  XO

    • GoustiFruit

I like to compare to you, as my scores are often in the same range as yours ;-) When I do less I think “duh, I should have pushed a little bit more” and when I do a little better than you, I’m just happy (until I read Vivi or Maria’s scores :-D)…

First part in 14’41, with a 8kg SB too (see !?)

And Sean’s, I only did Bent Over Rows because my bag doesn’t allow Biceps Curls, 153 reps, and shaking from every part of my body, I’m not used to this type of exercise !

    • Anonymous

Wonderful scores! Wow 153 row, you killed that. With the last 8 rep my hands was shaking too.I’m always amazed by Vivi and Maria’s scores too.
Gone check your score next time, love checking our other BR scores
      Have a wonderful weekend.

Just wanted to share a great recipe, easy and healthy, goes great with scrambled eggs:

      2 tomatoes, chopped in half
0,5tsp of pesto for each tomato (I bought mine but make sure it’s without a lot of potato flour)

Put the pesto on the tomato-halfes, in the oven for 15-20min on 200C. Delish, great way to eat vegetables :). Enjoy your weekend!

    • BodyRocker_Bonnie

Lisa’s Workout:  17:26 with some modifications – just high knees (no rope), and I also used a 10lb kettlebell hugged to my chest for the lunge kicks.  I’m just feeling a bit protective of my knees and didn’t want to stress them doing this.  I did go back to a full 25lb SB for the squats because they are just more stable in that exercise.

Sean’s Weighed workout with 25lb SB:
      Bicep Curls – 35
      Bent over Row – 73

Since I was so grumpy yesterday missing my workout I thought I’d hang up a little motivational poster on the wall, and I really enjoyed it, it really helped! (picture attached)  I think I’ll do this more often :)

After doing workouts day 4 & 5 I feel great.  I plan to go play with my jumprope later and get my push ups in.

Happy Saturday, whoohoo its been an awesome week!!

    • Anonymous

      Hi there,

so today I did a 12 minutes workout, 4 exercises 3 times 10/50…as all this week I wasn’t going for high scores, but just to workout, proper form, not to force my back or knees..but I did it…
Tomorrow I will do one of the old challenges..
Slowly I am coming back to where I was, but slowly, slowly…never mind, I am here..

      kisses to you all

    • BodyRocker_Bonnie

1lvana, you are such a great example to follow.  You had such a round of set backs this winter and you were so discouraged but you didn’t give up.  And now you are making your comeback with great spirit and thoughtful approach to do it right.  Hooray for you :)  (Clapping!!!!)

    • Anonymous

      oh Bonnie..thank you..I am blushing…:)))))

    • http://twitter.com/GabayC Gabija D.C.

      Lisa’s WO finished in 18:54:
lunge kicks were with a light ball and I did a ball-toe touch

      Sean’s WO:
      Curls 56
      Rows 60
I was using two dumbbells, 5kg each (around 11 lb)

Done with week 2!!!!!!!! SO happy!! SO sore!!!

Two more weeks workouts+no sweets. I must admit that it’s getting easier to resist sweets with ever day – I don’t want them anymore, however I wouldn’t refuse a big bowl of fruit!

    • BodyRocker_Bonnie

Yay, squeezed in my 100 push ups for today with a splash of cardio.  Quick & dirty, finished food shopping and did these in my jeans, just threw on my sneakers :)  awesome.

5 sets of 50 high knees + 20 regular push ups

    • http://www.janetspreiter.com Janet

You never cease to amaze me, Maria!!  I guess now I have to get a dip station so I don’t fall ridiculously far behind you!

    • Mary Lou

Whoo! 18:33 with 20 lbs. I split the squats and lunges into 25 squats, 25 left, 25 squats and 25 right for 2 run thru’s to keep the pace up. 41 on bicep curls and 80 bent over rows holding the outside handles and going for the slow burn. Ow.

    • http://www.janetspreiter.com Janet

Felt kinda tired from yesterday’s challenging afternoon surf session…large and choppy.  Slept in, took a 5-1/2 mile jog up the hill and felt even less peppy, but my official plan was to do the Bodyrock challenge in some fashion.  I stupidly grabbed a new lightweight skip rope and my timing was all off, so I gave up after several fumbles and just did high knees instead.  I put 16-1/2 lbs in the sandbag (such a great all around piece of equipment, BTW, love that thing!)  It took me 12:12 minutes to complete Lisa’s workout and I got all excited about that, so I added on Sean’s weighted challenge for good measure.  I upped the weight in the sandbag to 35 lbs and did 54 bicep curls in 3 minutes and 110 bent over rows in 3 minutes.  Now a shower, some work, more surf, and some weights tonight.  Now I am awake and functional!!!

Ok, this took me 15:38, but I am fighting some of the worst menstrual cramps right now, so I’m pretty proud I did it at all!  Thanks for this today.  It’s just what I needed.

    • http://www.janetspreiter.com Janet

I’ll take one of those, please!!

    • Mmghia

Isnt it awesome when you can actually do those push ups??!! so cool

    • Mmghia

That is one serious workout, Zuzka would be proud!! Your scores are teriffic as well.

On the elevated lunge how high up is your back leg like on a chair? is your back leg bent or straight? when you start the lunge is your front leg a bit out in front of you?  On the jack slider do your feet go out to the side (like a star) or tuck up towards the chest and back down?  sorry for all the questions but I think I’ll give this workout a try.  Thanks for sharing. sselcann - I was just saying that a lot of people know how to do them as these are common exercises in a gym.  but I did look for you and sean demonstrated both moves in his bangarang workout last friday except he did them in combos with other moves, in this workout you just do these two moves.  congratulations on getting all these done in a weekend!

mmghia (Michelle) - I think Isidora means lunges similar to what sean is doing in this video(without the pressup) http://www.bodyrock.tv/2012/01/04/day-3-of-the-30-day-challenge-international-love-workout/  at 3:55    I usually like to put my foot and my shin on my couch or a soft chair and have the top of my foot on the chair rather than my toes and I would assume she meant her feet going out to the sides like a star just because she said like jumping jacks (plus she did mountain runners right after which would bring your feet in and out) either one is nasty!  ha ha!

good luck on the wokout!  Isidora makes up the nastiest workouts!  lol

I did this right after the domino workout , as I skipped that one earlier this week. My time for Lisa’s 600 rep was 16: 11.
Well, I think I don’t need to describe the way I felt after this two!
P.S: I was so so happy to see Zuzana again! Thumbs up for her!

It sure is! Ha ha, my husband has a competition at work with how many pushups they can do – but when he saw me doing these he was like “we’ll you would have managed more in our competition because we don’t have to go that far down with the chest”. I did 16 yesterday and he did 24 in their competition. The leader did 40. Not THAT far away eyh!

    • sselcann

thank you tee_w :)  i ll check that out

I’ve been wondering about this too. Does this mean Zuzka won’t be posting on Bodyrock.tv’s page anymore? Is she still a part of all this?
Just asking, not judging or attacking, I’m just curious.. :)
Nevertheless, I’m happy to have seen her post a video..

      I loved this workout!!!!
The lunges were tough considering I haven’t done much weight training recently, but I loved how it incorporated more cardio.  I included the skips between the abs to really keep my heart rate going.
Feels so good to be back bodyrocking <3

This one took me 26 minutes today. Those lunge kicks took it out of me, but proud to have finished!

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

happy Sunday all..my last work out of the week, Monday is my active rest day…yeah….I used a 10 lb handweight held in front of me for the lunges and 32.5 lb SB for the squats…total time for Lisa’s was 12:11

for Sean’s I used 33 lb E-Z curl bar, the bicep curls really took it out of me for the rows…wow
did 90 curls and 85 rows.

Push ups for today, nothing fancy, 2 times through to get my 100

25 dip station knee raises 25 regular PU……25 dip station knee raises 25 wide PU

I’ve included a picture today….I take really bad pics, but want to show that 5′ 4 1/2 ” and 139 lb this morning doesn’t have to be overweight

Hi Maria!!  Thanks for a fun workout.  I taped a piece of paper up with your scores on the wall and it was fun (or funny) to try and keep up with you :) You smoked me in a few places but overall I felt I did pretty good !

      1) 1/2 burpee & knee raise:  8, 7.5
      2) Kick Over & BW Lunge:  19, 20

      5) V-Split Abs: 25, 23
      6) Reverse PUs: 29, 28

I followed with some jump rope time and it was SO fun.  I haven’t used my rope in awhile for HKS.  I mised them up with my push ups for a total of 300 HKS and 100 PUs.

50 HKS / alternate hand to foot touch

I completed this in 14:11, then I did Sean’s workout with 68 reps for biceps and 66 bent over rows. I used 10 pound dumbells for those exercises, because that’s what I have available to me at the moment. Loved this!

      Hi Janet,

The world expandes! I don’t seem much difference between Sean and a host doing one or two workouts and posting them and also having Zuzka’s. I haven’t done any of the newest workouts, just not motivated. This doesn’t mean I’m not training. I worked out before I saw my first video of Zuzka and will “Untill the day I die!” stops playing on my computer. :-)

Did this one yesterday. All caught up now. It took me 17:09 mins. For Sean’s workout I did 20 bicep curls with an 18lb sandbag and 35 with 10lbs. I managed 61 bent over rows with 18lbs. I probably should’ve made the bag heavier but oh well. Next time. Great workout!

      1/ 1/2 burpee/knee raise 12-12
      2/ kick over/back lunge 22-23
3/ feet on chair dip station PU 28-25
4/ 5 knee tuck/seated pull up, feet off the ground 6 sets plus 2 tucks – 6 sets plus 5 tucks

    • BodyRocker_Bonnie

Hey Maria, I was doing the 1/2 burpees with a pushup.  I wasn’t sure if a 1/2 burpee meant no jump-up!

I’m not quite over my cold, & this workout showed it.  I was winded really fast & had to take a few breaks.  At least I did it!  I had 22# in my bag for Lisa’s portion & ~13# for Sean’s portion.  I split the lunges into 25L/25R/25L/25R & held the bag at my chest.
      21:11

      Bent-over Rows 66
      Bicep Curls 41

+ 10 tricep 1-arm press ups per side
      + 10 22# sandbag sit-ups
      + 4 min 10/20 skipping

That was great!  I liked Sean’s workout.  Goes to show you can get a great workout in just by keeping it simple.  My biceps are toast.

Lisa-Marie’s: 35lb sandbag.  ALL the way down on the squats.  I held the sandbag above my head for most of the lunges, but brought it down for a couple dozen in the middle.

      Time challenge: 17:56

Sean’s: 18lb sandbag for the bicep curls; 35lb sandbag for the rows.
      curls: 70
      bent over row: 73

Not the hardest workout on the 30 Day Challenge, but a good solid one.  I had a great time with this one because each section was like a challenge in itself (100 squats!!  100 lungebacks!).

      have a great night everyone!!!

      Hi Tee,

Deleted?  I have had ones not approved and I’ve deleted my own…never I think had Freddy or Zuzka delete one…that I remember.

It would be kind of a pointless action as many of us watch for movement from Zuzka…even if it seems random and over thought out at the same time.

      –Chris

I wake up at 6:30 am to do the time challenge in 19:20. It’s the only way for me to do the 30 days challenge! I hope it works…

      Hi Lattara,

I believe Zuzka chooses not to post here for her own reasons.  I think Freddy would love to have her again posting at Bodyrock.

Thank you…tonight I have “training” with my ladies…there are 7 ladies in my group, and each time we do something else..
Today we will do ab workout…so I won’t be Bodyrocking today, I am still in therapy, so I don’t want to over do it…one workout a day in my condition is very good!
      kiss my darling

    • Annebel Wind

Hi guys, i didn’t post my scores yet. My time was: 24.38. I used a 10kg sandbag.
The biceps and rows I did yesterday, together with a challenge Zuzana posted on her youtube channel. So a hard workout yesterday.. But nice. Still not really hurting.. Don’t know what this is.. Seems it has te be really really brutal before I have pain the next day.. :D
Oh the challenge was for friday the 13th: 6 burpees, 6 plyo squats, 6 back lunges, 13 rounds of this.. My time was: 15.55. See you later guys.. Looking forward to the next week! Keep up the good work!

    • Annebel Wind

      Oh the biceps: 56
      The rows: 90..

Hi.. This past summer I followed, and I am still following the diet tips suggested by Zuzana and Freddy.  I was wondering if Freddy or Zuzana has tweaked their diet in any way?  I was also curious to see if Lisa Marie would be willing to post a “typical” day of her diet?  As many of us are, I am a creature of habit and would love new suggestions and ideas.  I have been using  Bodyrock faithfully for almost 2 years and absolutely love it!  I am also a runner and I am training for a marathon scheduled for the last week in March.  Bodyrock provides absolute core strength needed to sustain myself during long runs.  I love every one of your workouts!

    • MariaBjørgJepsen

      Thanks, dear Steph :)

So sweet <3 I don't think it looks that cool, ha ha.

This workout took me 14min 2 sec. I really enjoyed this workout. Thew flow seemed effortless and I loved the leg focus especially the lunge back and kicks. One of my favorite exercises. Still waiting for the one-leg deadlift to come back :)

    • BodyRocker_Bonnie

It really was fun to do that :) whatever works to keep me going!!

I never thought he wouldn’t, I was just wondering if they could tell us something more about it.. :)
I love both of them, they are amazing people, and everything they’ve done so far, along with everything they’re still doing is more than appreciated. We’re just used to hearing from both of them here on the site, that it makes it strange when we don’t. :)

    • Kathy_Bodyrock

I totally agree with you Jules!

EVERYONE is on vacation all the time in Hawaii..It is a state of mind, for better or worse…

    • http://www.janetspreiter.com Janet

Hrrrumph!  If I took you on one of my “hill runs” you would get a deep sunburn before you would break a sweat, sad to say. I just hate “wasting time” warming up properly so I go out and admire the scenery and see what the surf is doing from up the hill.  Otherwise I would try to do a Bodyrock cold and have heart failure!

    • Vivi

I did Lisa workout in 9 min (no seconds because I forgot my Gymboss, so I had to lokk my time on a clock :p
And I did 100 skips more + my 100 PU for the challenge ;)

    • Anonymous

Thanks for the info.  I am probably the last person on earth without a facebook account.  Bummer.

    • Esal

      Wow!  Nice!!

    • Esal

      Great time Vivi!!

    • Bodyrocker_Audra

These two workouts were a great upper/lower body split routine with a bit of cardio and abs mixed in awesome!  I used 20lbSB for Lisa’s high rep workout.

      Lisa’s 600 Rep:  12:53
      Sean’s
      3 min 20lb SB Bicep curls:  86
3 min 30lb SB Bent Over Rows:  70

    • Ashley

My biceps may fall off today after that. 20:07 for part one and 65 bi curls and 45 rows.

    • Vivi

Surgery ??? Ho no what’s happened ? I hope nothing too much important! But I don’t think so if you can go for your trip in one week ! Take care of you my sweetie !
This week end we enjoyed a family meal with “Galette des rois” Miam miam !!!
And yes my hubby is a real “heart” to make mine. But I need to know the size & the measures . ;)

    • Vivi

Thanks I don’t know why I added these 100 skipps in the workout !! So it was a 700 reps :p and I enjoyed so much the abs exercises that I redid after the last 4 exercises.

The first thing I did when I came at home was to put my gymboss in my bag for tomorrow !!

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

      thanks Julie

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

hahaha, let us enjoy the experience of beating your reps for at least a few days Maria    LOL    I hope your surgery goes well and your vacation doesn’t get to mixed up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  My husband and I got married in Las Vegas for our 20 anniversary of living together ….I know, most people find that weird

      6 ninja jump tucks

    • Vivi

You understand that we have to redo it ?? Not me hahaha! Your score are so awesome !! I’m scared to redo it lol !!

    • Chris__L

      Hi Tee,

If it’s the post I’m thinking of I’m happy it was deleted.  But, I never intentionally post as a guest.  Disqus does this and thus stops me from having edit or deletion access.

Zuzana isn’t about to explain herself to us and Freddy (I think) is just as confused as we are.

      H Lattara,

Some of that was for all bodyrockers.  I would love Zuzana to post here and do what she said she would.  I would also like them back together and I don’t think that will happen either.

If she does workouts I will do those I can and support her as best I can,  but I also want to support this community and this blog.

      –Chris

      Chris,
Just curious – do you know either Freddy or Zuzana personally?
I have never commented about their separation (until now) but isn’t it all needlessly confusing?!!  I mean – they brought their personal lives to the table for their viewers/community by choice.  They explained many personal and painful things but in a very diplomatic way to stay consistent with the website and their goals.  We all know that Zuzana has been M.I.A. for quite some time and now this recent vague activity from her is very inconsistent with what she personally said she wanted to do for the “Bodyrock” community.  I just think it would be healthier to “clear the air” (again in a very simple diplomatic way) as to weather or not we should expect to see/hear her input again on this site.  Then at least people will stop talking about it and coming up with random conclusions of their own.  And in the end, my ramblings are more just my thoughts on the situation and not really a direct question for you – I know you don’t have all the answers on this topic.
We’re just human after all right…
      Daft Punk (great workout music).
      Mel :)

Well of course, I’m still following their site and workouts, I’m not planning on quitting Bodyrocking. I support them in whatever they decide to do. :)

    • Anonymous

I thought this community was open minded and that it is was allowed to ask questions as long as they are not offensive or rude. Lately, it seems a lot of people are arguing, attacking or judging each other. I really don’t like that.
I like what Freddy and Zuzana built here and the message they are sending to people ever since beginning of BRTV, and trying to keep up with it even with the new hosts. I respect that and support them all the way! Thanks to BR team and everything you do, I really appreciate that!Keep BodyRocking! :)

    • Bodyrocker_Audra

Thanks so much girl! *blush* You ROCKED it too!  Hollaaa!

    • Sarah G

Yes, I go through this too unfortunately :( I was almost anorexic last summer, and exercised like mad, and than in the winter time I gained it all back and than some, because I would binge eat. It’s one of the hardest habits to break I find.
I’m better now, and still slip up at times, but not as bad as last year.

I think what helped me is to tell someone you trust/love, that way you feel more accountable, not jsut to yourself but to that extra person. And if there’s a food that triggers your compulsive eating, don’t have it in your house. Try to find out what triggers the behaviour.. Maybe a stressful day? Boredom? Loneliness?

just remember you are in control!!

    • BodyRocker_Bonnie

That was cute Arika – I can’t wait to go to bed either because I am so excited to start another week of the challenge (Monday’s are my rest day, I love working out on Sat/Sun with no work).  I am having a great time with this!

    • Mmghia

Its not like we are leaving one for the other. Z is just the cherry on an already delicious cake.  She just makes it a little sweeter but I will continue to Bodyrock!!

    • Cilia Frascone1

      Wow!!!…Intense!!
      600 rep……22:34 min
40lbs  for the lunges (held above my head…uuuuugh!!)
      25lbs for the squats

For Sean’s I did my own back routtine…added a few diff excersices…..trying soooo hard to master an unassisted  wide hand held grip pull up…not there…..yet:)

Can’t wait to start week 3!!!!….I started 3 days later so I never have to wait for the new posts…so  I have 2 days rest comming…..I’ll be doing yoga, cardio, racketball, boxing, abs….

      Have a great night everyone:)
Thanks again Freddy, Sean, Lisa-Marie for this amazing 30 day challange…actually thanks for this amazing site!!!!!!

      Hi Arianna,

      Based on what?

      –Chris

    • Chris__L

      Hi mel,

You seem of two minds you would like us not to discuss old laundry and have it aired at the same time.  Probably not going to happen.  Freddy and Zuzka have some personal private things and we don’t need to know minutia, but we are bound to talk.

Truth is I’m, harder on Zuzka because I love her very much,  sorry Freddy I only like you! :-)

Anyway, my conclusions are never random! :-)

Very probably wrong but not random.

And curiosity is a good thing, but I like mystery as well… :-)

Final point! Daft Punk is always good workout music! :-)

Hej Yboog :) I am so happy you would try it – you are more than welcome :) Yes, the pull-ups are the same as Sean did. I know what you mean about the Dip Station Gribs. It must be all about practice and gaining more shoulder and ab strenght. Now we know how Zuzana got her amazingly shaped shoulders and abs, ha ha :)

So…  you do personally know them?  You seem to speak in code – kinda like a robot?!
I do have two minds actually – one is on the right and the other on the left and they both do different things…  I try to exercise them both equally.
I don’t mind at all discussing my “ramblings” with you or anyone for that matter.  I was just trying to be respectful of your/my time.  Which was my whole point in the end – streamlining things, trimming the fat, pulling the weeds…  making it more clear/simple for the BR community to really move forward and not torn in multiple confusing directions.  There is too much time and energy wasted on brtv over things that could easily be put to rest. There is a huge difference between this and “personal private things”.  I never once wrote or implied a desire for such knowledge.  Making official statements here and there is part of doing good business.
I too enjoy mystery – but there is a time and a place for it – and here is not one of them.  You are of course more than welcome to reply.  Although for me, I have come to an end of my journey and must venture down the path less chosen (as it may seem)…  back into reality!

      Hi Vivi,

Stainless Steel? Seem like plain steel painted would work and be chearer. This is how the Dip Station that they use here is made.

I guess I don’t understand exactly what kind of statement you were looking for. Even if they did make a statement I think it would still be debated/discussed by people here or elsewhere. But, I do agree this is sort of a waste of time, then again I always enjoy chatting and you seem a likable person.

      Take care,
      –Chris

Has anyone purchased the DIP STATIONS….I noticed that they put another brand up on the site. Which DIP STATION do you guys like best. I seriously need some honest opinions. I want to purchase a dip station this week. Thoughts on the black (cheaper dip station) vs. the new yellow dip station that comes apart (which is around $120.00 US). Thank you! XO

My husband thinks in stainless steel so that will not make rusty (we sweat a little during a workout lol !!) Otherwise steel simple but galvanized ;)
He is going to weld several tubes, I shall have can be not the roundness at the top but not grave. On the other hand I asked him an adapted tube (not too fine) towards hand for a good grip. AT the end I’ll put a picture if you want. But in few weeks, he’s busy for the moment…..:( Too much impatient!!!! :p

    • http://moveeatlivewell.blogspot.com/2012/01/jessicas-beginners-guide-to-bodyrocktv.html JessJN

I have & love the black ultimate body press dip station.  The new yellow one (equalizer) doesn’t look like it’s as easy to to do hanging ab work from… it looks much lower to the ground.  I do not plan on buying the equalizer.

    • Chris__L

      Hi Vivi,

If he welds Stainless that is great and if it is what you want go for it!  I wouldn’t weld galvanized as the zink is nasty stuff to breath.  You can get black pipe here which is used for gas and that is better to weld, but of couse the sweat/rust thing is an issue.

Paint is a good solution for rust and allows a nice pink to be selected. :-)

If you can afford the cost take it to someone who paints cars and get the full treatment.  Last would last for years!

Picture please!  And sure I’m impatient and you wouldn’t want me any other way! :-)

I haven’t lost weight either, but I have become damn strong and fit. But I don’t think it helps you to focus so much on the weight scale. Try to drop it!

    • MariaBjørgJepsen

I added 100 High Knees at the end to make it 1000 High Knees total :) I still don’t have a jump rope, but I enjoyed the workout a lot. It took me = 11:48 min. Thank you!!!

Yes, I will vouch for you getting stronger and fitter, you crazy girl!

    • Anonymous

      you’re welcome vivi!

in case your hubby & you decide on something more like the new equipment sean is now using “the equalizer” JessJN just posted this to someone else
      From the Equalizer website:
Each Equalizer bar weighs 8 pounds. The dimensions are 28-1/2 inches high by 25 inches wide and it has been tested to support up to 400 pounds of body weight. The Equalizers can easily be stacked together, taking up little storage space.

it sounds like these guys are going to be using it more because it can be used supposidly in many more ways – sigh just as we all go out and buy dip stations and now they are using those club things and are asking people about some other piece of equipment! TRX? I think

maybe it’s good hubby is too busy right now, so you can decide what to make! good luck!

      hi midi
      i use thomas keller’s recipe:

2 red onions, sliced very thin
      1 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
      3/4 c. sugar

put the onions in a jar with a lid
combine sugar and vinegar and bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar.
pur liquid over the onions and push them down a little to submerge them.
cool to room temp, then refrigerate for at least 1 day.

they go really well with almost anything!

      hi penny,
no triathlons. i actually hate running :) i swam in high school (a million years ago) and picked it up again a while back. now i just swim lengths. since bodyrocking, i’ve started incorporating intervals into it, too. race to one end, rest 10 seconds, race back, etc. it’s a good challenge, especially since you have to control your breathing!

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

I agree yboog, I think the dip station does it all. I get the impression that Sean will mostly be using it, and to be truthful, I find his routines hard enough without trying to act like a monkey too. Everything so far can be adapted to body weight or the dip station. I still don’t have a ugi ball either…hahaha…dip station, sand bag, interval timer, smallish swiss ball…lots of hand weights and barbells, got everything I need thanks…oh and body rockers to keep me true

      Hi Lattara,

I’m trying to suggest otherwise, kid. I also support Freddy and crew as best I can. Bodyrock is part of my life and I love this community. Do stress! It’s easy to miss read comments or feel under attack when you’re not!

      My best,

      Hi Cristina,

I agree with most of what you write.  But, to be fair to Zuzka I think she has just as much right to have another page as Freddy would or any of the other folks who have been involved with Bodyrock.tv.  I think if you put yourself (everyone) in her shoes you would see the last few months as a journey of pain for her.  So that she is working thru this is a really good thing.  Support her and Freddy they both deserve it and we can be a big tent community. Okay?

This is directed at those who hate or can’t support friends (not you Cris): I support lots of fitness folks and can include more without losing my focus or making their sites a bad space.  Try to do the same or go away till you can be supportive without a lot of negativity, please!

    • Lila Alejandra ♥

Oh my, I do not know what happened to me today: No energy at all to workout. I had an active rest day yesterday and thought I was so ready for todays workout but I just could not get myself to move!! My body felt so heavy and with no energy at all. But I got myself to do the workout even though it was torture, I couldn´t even enjoy it =(

Any way, my time was 21:27

And I could only do 30 push ups and 30 tricep dip on a chair.

My word for today REST lol

By the way I do not see anybodys else´s scores =( Why can´t we all focus a bit more on the workouts instead of just commenting on Freddy and Zuzana´s life?? I can´t compare to how good or bad it was for me today. Just enjoy the site as for Freddy puts a lot of time and energy to it. Leave Freddy and Zuz alone, let them be!!

Lisa I love you..you are so much fun and soooo positive. You get me going girl every day THANKS!!

Don’t worry, didn’t think you were attacking me, just thought you might have misunderstood my comment. :) It’s really hard “talking” to people via messages, because as you said it’s really easy to mis read texts unlike actual face to face conversation. ;)

Btw, I’m stoked to see Zuzka’s WOD!! Have you seen it yet? I’m doing it tomorrow, cannot wait! ;)

Have you thought of the possibility that she was pushed away from bodyrock.tv and it was not possible for her to participate on BR anymore??

    • Carrie

This looked quite scary, but in fact I think it’s one of my favourite workouts of the challenge so far – combined with Sean’s workout, it worked out just about every muscle in my body to a nice level of burn!

    • Daphedan

only did the 600 rep challenge because I’ve been off for 4 days with a cold.  It’s still hanging on so I’m trying not to overdo it.  My time was 19:08.

    • Ludmila

hey…I dont know what I am supposed to do in Sean´s workout!! :((

    • Anonymous

      Hi @TessaVolk:disqus ,
yeah I’ve seen that too, but on their workout posts their is no more Zuzka in signature. Now it’s Fredddy, Sean & Lisa. I guess it’s logical, since Lisa is the one creating these workouts and writing some of the posts.
I would just like it if Freddy and Zuzka told us what’s really going on, so that we don’t have to bother them anymore. :))

    • Anonymous

Didn’t do Sean’s workout because I need to rush but OMG the squaaaats!!! At first I wanted to do  the lunges without sandbag but I thought of trying it without modification first, and I couldn’t believe that I managed to do it till the end. A bit slow but I did it! My time is 24:15.
I guess, you never know the limit of your body until you push yourself. Sometimes your body is weaker, sometimes your mind. Whatever it is, don’t let the weaker one take over. Don’t give up and keep rocking people! =)

    • Anonymous

      That’s great Matthew! Mine was 24:15. I didn’t do Sean’s as well. =p
Keep Bodyrocking! Have a great weekend! =)

My time for this workout was 14:16.6 and oh my god did it hurt!! Lunges and squats were killing me, but I did it :))))))
Happy that the weekend is almost here :)))))

Have a great rest of the day everyone!

      Much love!

      My thoughts exactly Janet!

14 min exactly for Lisa’s with no mods. lunges with 15lb kettle bell, and squats with 30lb kettle bell. My goal was under 15. I should have aimed for under 10 after seeing everyone’s amazing times!
