LISAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i LOVE your bikini/workout gear!  what is it? where to get it????

    • Tammy77

garage clothing store, at least the panties are from there

    • http://moveeatlivewell.blogspot.com/2012/01/jessicas-beginners-guide-to-bodyrocktv.html JessJN

      The top is Lululemon

  • 6masons

I love your workouts, and get really annoyed with those who “can’t workout” with BR because it’s too sexy, blah blah blah! But, even I find myself asking, why the hell are you in your underwear? Seriously?!?

    • Hege Vindstad

Maybe because the workout is called “Bikini Body Beach…” she is dressed that way?

    • Anonymous

my god..it doesn’t really make a difference between “short hotpants + sportsbra” and this? if there was a lululemon brand on the shorts, nobody would make such a fuss! -_-

    • Kathy_Bodyrock

I think, because after the workout, you are full of sweat :) it´s more comfortable with this outfit :-D

    • Mmghia

I can only assume a thong is not too far behind!

  • Jules

  • xuely

  • Anonymous

oh,my!  I’m all for you guys being adults and free to make your own choices, but I didn’t hear anything you said or saw anything you demonstrated as I was too distracted!  and I’m not a guy!  lol   I gather appropriateness is more lax in the UK for teachers!  OK, guess I gotta try to watch again, so I know what you did!

though, you said this was a time challenge,  I don’t usually have time for those during the week, guess I gotta wait and see how long it takes other people.

  • Vivi

This workout looks great ! But I pushed so hard yesterday to the gym that I’m totaly sore this morrning !!! I will try at luch to do it, but not sure of my score….But I don’t give up ! I will do something !!

  • MarionMM

I think I wondered why she was so unclothed…but then I really appreciated seeing her muscles fire up. Great job, girlfriend!!
I’ll def be doing this tmrw! Maybe I can rope some ppl into doing it with me! :)
Thank you BodyRock team. You inspire me.

  • Anonymous

Though you look a bit unclothed, but your lean muscles are just sooooo motivating!!!!! seriously! :D

  • Anonymous

Thank you guys for this workout! Lisa you are brilliant, you look amazing, you’re body is super tight and you have like 0% body fat!! :)

Yes, she is working out in her undies, but so what?! She is just that more inspirational, and she’s not showing that much more than usual! You know we do have a freedom of choice to turn off the video and watch something else, that is the beauty of the internet! :))

  • Anonymous

Lisa could you just tell us what was your time? :)

  • Anonymous

Lisa could you just tell us what was your time? :)

  • Brian

That was murder! 24 minutes and 26 seconds, 10 kg in the sandbag and no equipment for the last exercise so I did the sit ups. I will sleep well tonight.

  • Minka

I’ve totally fallen off the wagon. 2-3 weeks after starting the 30day challenge i got ill and haven’t been able to workout after that. Still have something going on in my lungs and it seems to be getting worse all the time.
During these weeks my diet, will power and motivation have crashed. I’ve gained all weight back in a few weeks i lost in 6 months. This is a mental game and i keep losing in it.
I’ve noticed that now that i have all this fat again, i feel safer. It’s silly but i do. I failed again and it somehow feels good because i don’t have to try so hard all the time anymore, i don’t have to fear failing anymore because i’ve done it. At the same time I feel ashamed and discouraged because i had the drive before, i was getting somewhere and i was motivated. I was so sure i will reach my goal for the summer and now i’m at point 0. Once again.

There’s too much pressure and i can’t handle it. :/

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=756586587 Estefania Puigdemont

Minka, life is all about up and downs, you’ll never be always at the top but neither you’ll be always at the bottom, when you fall you get up and move on, that’s it, because life works this way and you have got ill now but you’ll get ill more times during your life and you just can’t give up everytime. You feel safer because you were expecting to fail, and a failure for you is to fall, but it isn’t, failure is not to fall, what we called failures are just expiriences life teaches us to make us stronger and wiser. You’ll have to start again in your life thousand times, that’s what life is about! Now you’re down, there is nothing wrong about it, you’ll be up and down many times in your life, but never ever give up on yourself, start as many times as you have to, don’t stay safer in your confort zone because is life is outside the confort zone.

    • Anonymous

      dear minka,

I think maybe you need to change your mindset,  from trying to lose fat to trying to be healthy.  so you do these workouts everyday to feel better, be healthier.  and when you eat ask yourself – is this healthy? is this good for my body – as opposed to eating for our minds or our emotions.
sometime keeping fat on our bodies can make you feel safer because in our minds it keeps people away, and then there are no expectations that you feel you need to live up to.  your goal should not be for the summer but for life!  relax your expectations, take one moment at a time, one step at a time, one meal at a time and one decision at a time,  the wagon comes along every minute,  you don’t have to wait for it, it’s right in front of you. just ask yourself – what can I do to make myself healthier right now!  you can do this!

      • Gerri Lee Schafer

well said Tee, health is a life long journey, not a sprint…make the decisions that will help you for the long term

      • yboog

Totally agree, every moment in life, every choice you make can be one for the healthier you!….So hop on that wagon Minka,…WE WILL RIDE WITH YOUUUUUU!!!!

  • MariaBjørgJepsen

This looks like so much fun – I will blast it out tomorrow morning, since I did my workout for today :)

Lisa, you look perfect in that colour! Thanks for the portion guidance!!!

    Love, Maria

that was a sweaty workout … phuuh, my arms are burning!!! The workout took me 30:51 and I used my 11kg SB and my DipStation. The second exercise was so brutal, but sooo good :)
Lisa, I love your workout-outfit (the color looks good on you) – so you can see the muscles and that´s so inspiring :) thank you for another great workout!

    Hi there…

so I just did “Hot wild ones”…3rd day of 2nd week…and I can see some improvements in my strength and shape..can’t wait Monday to do my 2nd fit test..

tonight I have one more training to do with my ladies…

    kisses to you all

  • BodyRocker_Bonnie

I just got back from 5 days vacation and being sick too and I really feel it coming back.  It was also really hard to eat healthy being surrounded by rich food and other people’s behavior…yikes, it is amazing how easy it is to fall off the wagon, and how hard it feels to get back up.  This took me 24:52  but I was just determined to finish it.  I reduced the weight in my SB from 25 to 18 lbs as well.

I threw in an Afterburn of cardio & pushups to continue to get back to my routine:
    50 HKs / 20 staggered hands
    50 HKs / 20 shoulder taps
    50 HKs / 20 narrow & wide alternating
    50 HKs / 20 regular
    50 HKs / 20 sumos

One highlight of the family vacation was that I got to demonstrate reptile push ups to everyone and no one could believe it…and no one else could even do a push up…that made me feel good to realize how far I’ve come :)

    • Anonymous

when I was first able to do regular reptile push up it was the most common thing that I showed around too…:)

    • MariaBjørgJepsen

I missed hearing from you, sweetheart!!! I am so glad to have you back again :) Are you over your sickness? I did 400 push-ups on Monday and really thought of you, haha. Rock those Reptiles!!!
      Love, Maria

      • BodyRocker_Bonnie

Thanks Maria :) It feels really good to be back. I seriously missed you guys!! (400 pushups?!! Wow!!) xo, B

        Hi Lababla,
In the comment box where you type, go above to the right hand corner where the DisQus icon is, and click on Edit Profile below that. In that area you should see “Short Bio” where you can type something to share about yourself :)

    • yboog

This is a strong come back girl, and look at ya still doing an AfterBurn anyway!

      • BodyRocker_Bonnie

        Hugs, thanks yboog :)

      • BodyRocker_Bonnie

        Hugs, thanks yboog :)

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

Way to rock it Bonnie !!  Family vacations can be tricky on the body…LOL…food, drink, nowhere to work out….I took my yoga mat, jump rope and timer with me to my last one, worked out in the living room before anyone got up, skipped on the deck…they just looked at me like I was crazy.  Good for you with the PU’s, I really find it hard to believe how many people can’t even do one that think they are in shape…LOL…no worries, you will be back in the groove in no time..we’re all here for you

      • BodyRocker_Bonnie

        happy sigh…thank you! :)

    • Bodyrocker_Audra

Hi Bonnie!  I decided to take a week off from Bodyrock for my weight training and I know I’ll have some difficulty coming back into the routine as well cuz there is nothing like Bodyrock lol!  How great is that feelin tho, of the all the hard work we put into our bodies?  Awesome!!!!

      • BodyRocker_Bonnie

Thanks Audra…its a good lesson to learn to come back to something hard and remember we LOVE IT.

  • Megfacteau

Why are there always complaints on here about everything being “too sexy” she is completely COVERED. Everyone has arms, legs and a stomach – why does that make some uncomfortable????? NO unmentionables are ever showing – if you have a problem with someone in a bikini then you have your own personal issues you need to deal with. I hate coming on here and leave negative comments or respond to other’s negativity but this has become to outrageous for me not to say anything – are you all embarrassed to go near a beach or swimming pool? Is that too risqué for you? Be a grown up, really. Those comments are getting so old to me. Beware if you buy fitness DVDs or head to a gym, there will be men there with no shirt and women in sports bras.

    • Anonymous

We aren’t at the beach or the pool though. I think people are just trying to say that they are a little uncomfortable with the lack of clothing. I used to be a little uncomfortable with Z’s beautiful physique too when she wore skimpier outfits. It didn’t stop me from working out though. I dont think it’s being rude. It definitely gets everyone talking, doesn’t it — good for the site’s popularity.

    • http://www.janetspreiter.com Janet

      I’ve seen FAR worse.  ;)

  • Olivertay

    Lisa,

Even though people judge you bit unclothed, but I  see the courage inside you! you dare to show it and it is so beautiful… Lisa, Keep Rocking!

  • Kayla Thamert

Holy moly was I sweating during this one! Killer workout, I LOVED IT!
This took me 35 minutes using a 30lb barbell for the clean & press/lunges and a 20lb barbell for the shoulder press/squats.
Side note: I discovered yesterday that I can finally do full UN-assisted dips!! That was one of my goals when I first started bodyrocking… next goal to smash: pull ups!!! Waaahooooo!

Thanks for all your hard work Lisa Marie, you gorgeous and inspiring and insanely strong little spit-fire!

Lisa-Marie- I would really appreciate it, if you could post this stuff about food not only on Facebook, for those who don’t support (and don’t plan to) this base. I don’t wanna have to join Fb just to keep up with BR. Thank you so much, if you consider this..
Best regards from a BR maniac in Germany :)

Today I was missing Z so I did an older routine of core and abs. I will do this later today I think but it looks way fun! Love these multi-move workouts :)))

  • Tori

I’ve been sick since last Thursday.  I’m starting to feel better and really wanted to try this workout.  I only made it through 2 rounds before I got spent.  I also had to modify the second round.  I’m hoping to be fully back on my feet soon.  My time for two rounds was18:30 using a 25 lb sandbag.

  • Sunshine

I DIDNT even notice the outfit until I looked at these posts. She just looks great and as someone else said, Lisa CAN wear this and it not be such a big deal. That is why for me it wasn’t even noticeable at first. It doesn’t take away at all. Perhaps because it just fits her and she is who she is. She doesn’t TRY to be sexy, she just naturally is in her fun, upbeat, confident way… She looks great. She is wearing IT, it is not WEARING her. Stop hatin’! :)

    • Anonymous

Totally agree! She is a fitness professional! I barely even noticed. She looks great. And WHO cares? These people are doing you a favor, where is the criticism coming from?

This workout was awesome! Did three rounds in 26 mins..
Idk about everyone else but i personally can’t workout out in anything but a panty like short and tiny top. Makes me more motivated and clothes are really uncomfortable when you are sweating alot. Of course in private, more discreet in public.

Sorry, but this just seems really picky! Lisa Marie is a really energetic person, and she seems happiest when she’s moving around. She’s also probably warmed up, and it would be counterproductive for her to spend 5 minutes standing still.

I’m all for letting the team know if there’s something wrong with the workouts, but for me this is just over the personal line – asking her to change her mannerisms is one step away from saying “your accent sucks, can’t you do Irish?”Seriously, if half the people here had their way she’d be sitting behing a desk in a nun’s habit trying to make a teddy bear show us what a burpee looks like.

Love the workout and can’t wait to get home to do it. As far as the outfit…LOVE IT EVEN MORE! I always try and work out in clothing that I am comfortable in, and boy shorts and a sports bra are always it. Gives you more range of motion and your able to see your muscles work, which is sooooooo motivating while working out. I LOVE YOU LISA AND THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO!!!! YOU ARE SUCH AN INSPIRATION!!!!!!

  • jacky~

I’ve just completed this wicked workout in 13 minutes.  Thanks as always~!

  • Lena

Same here!!! I dont know what to do?! Any ideas anyone?!

  • Lena

Maybe you only did one round? You are meant to go through the four exercises three times…

  • Elena Ioan

Hello Dorie, I remember reading on Freddy’s Facebook page that as she is living quite far from where Bodyrock.tv videos are shooting, she just couldn’t drive that far (up to 4 hours?) everyday (as the 30 days challenge demanded). Sorry if my english is not so good…! :) Have a nice day! :)

  • Elena Ioan

Haha! I rock my undies too!!!!!! :) In got it done in 33:05!!!!!!!!! My arms are shaking!!! :) LOVE IT!

I’m about to do this!  Lisa, I love the bikini for workout gear!  You look amazing.  I love your legs. :)

  • Gerri Lee Schafer

Got this one written down for the morning.  Did 10 sets of 20 push ups at work today.  Did
Maria Bjørg Jepsen’s work out this morning.

  • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

THIS WORKOUT ROCKED!  I LOVED it!  By the way, I think some people may be confused–well, I was–about the second exercise.  It looked like you were supposed to do it 20 total times, but I think it’s 10 total, and the “10 each side” means the lunges?  well, I did it 10 times each round (10 rounds of: 10 mc’s, press and 2 lunges) and it was plenty!  My time was 24:25.  I was really careful with form because my back is healing.  I used 35lb bag on the second exercise and a 18 lb bag on the third exercise.  Those 123 push ups–OMG!  SO hard!

Oh–I warmed up with 500 skips and beat my PB with 3:30!  Now on to my show!  It’s a good day from now on… :)

But you are not on the internet training thousands of people!

So, I’m back! But with a totally different username haha! (Alana Stacy here, TEAM CANADA WHOO!!)
I managed this in.. 18:38, but with modifications. Only because I have no upper body strength anymore. Surgery will do that! Anyways, I’m all healed up and ready to rock! Especially the new month challenge coming up. Whoo hoo! Now, time for a cool down and something to EAT.

  • Peta

Freddy, Lisa, Sean …great job! I will still be a body rocker after this but I’m not sure if I will comment again in the future. Most of the messages I’ve posted were deleted. I’m not sure if a memo was sent out that the word “zuzka” nor “zuzana” is allowed to appear in comments, but I think its a harsh thing to pretend that the Co-founder of bodyrock.tv doesn’t exist or had nothing to do with bodyrock.tv at all. Its pretty much equivalent to Apple pretending as if Steve Jobs didn’t exist, or that he is a nobody. She changed lives. Why wudnt she deserve the honor? Bodyrock.tv is supposed to be about positivity and love right? Anyway, I know this comment will be deleted but atleast you guys read it. MUCH LOVE & RESPECT! — A Jamaican bodyrocker.

Yes.  I just noticed she’s disappeared from the sidebar.  And we haven’t gotten a recipe in forever.

    2/1/2012
Wow…all of you who completed this in less than 25 minutes are BEASTS!  I’ve been bodyrocking almost a year, & 3 rounds of this took me 35:50. I had ~22# in my bag.  For the squat leg lift, I held the bag at my chest & didn’t do the shoulder press.  I did my push-ups off 1-knee, the other leg extended behind me for the 123 reptile push-ups.  I did abs on the floor since I didn’t want to carry my sandbag & dip station to the gym patio.

Before this workout I rode my bike ~15.5 miles along the beach.

Here’s the bonus I did after my brutal 35:50min:
    10/20 sec 4 min skipping
    10 prisoner get ups
    10/20 sec 4 min skipping
20 mermaids (lying leg lift, bend knees & drop to side, extend them to side, bend & return to center.  repeat on the other side.  each side extension = 1 rep)
    10/20 sec 4 min skipping
    10 sandbag situps + 10 sandbag crunches
    10/20 sec 4 min skipping
10 swiss ball pike roll in/out + push up
    10/20 sec 4 min skipping
10 side plank bicycles per side
    5 ninja jump tuck burpees

Lisa & Sean, how long did this workout take you??

    A quick aside -
I love Bodyrock & don’t care what anyone wears.  If someone you refer to the site has a problem with what the hosts wear, it’s not a reflection on you, so why do you care?  The point of this site is to workout.  I don’t remember this level of outcry when Zuzana worked a bikini last January…

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

hey JessJN, wrote your WO into my journal for the morning, will save ZWOD #2 and ZWOW #3 for another day

Unfortunately, I am not at my home right now, so I don’t have any sandbag or dip station. I really want to use these things for this workout, so I’ll rock it tomorrow morning, instead :) My workout for today has so far been:

    400 Push-ups:
    100 Legs Elevated
    100 Diamond (knees)
    100 Dips
All sets of 25 each time &
    25 Reptile, 25 Diagonal Knee Tuck, 25 One-Leg & 25 Tapping.

    100 Frog Squats
    30 Feet Elev. Butt Squeezes.

    Love, Maria

    I did some modifications:
10 PU from knees on the 2nd round,
I didn’t do the press with the kick – just held the sandbag to my chest,
and also did 10 reps of the 2nd exercise each round.

I’m incredibly sore today and I was actually supposed to rest, but I chose otherwise.
Also my left shoulder is KILLING me with pain – I literally can’t put my hand over my head!

Cheers! Will take it easy tomorrow

  • Gerri Lee Schafer

Just finished this one.  I dropped my SB weight to 22.5 lb because of all the presses.  Am I the only one that finds this frustrating?  To work my legs I need way more weight than I want to use or can use for over head presses, so I have a choice each time these moves come up, drop my weight and do the presses or keep my weight and do the modified versions and not work my shoulders….sigh…just wanted to share my thoughts.

Any way, 22.5 lb SB took me 17:11 for all three rounds.  The 1-2-3 reptile PU’s were the hardest for me.

    My extras afterwards
    4 x 10/20 HKS – 25 weighted crunches 10 lb
    4 x 10/20 HKS – 25 seated bicycle
    4 X 10/20 HKS – 25 leg drop/hip thrust
    4 x 10/20 HKS – 25 froggie crunches
    4 x 10/20 HKS – 100 mason twist

I’m going to continue doing my extra push ups at work for now, the last 2 days I’ve done 10 sets of 20 regular PU’s.

    • Anonymous

hey gerri, here’s a thought, how about only doing a press every 2nd rep or every 3rd?

      • Gerri Lee Schafer

hi Tee, ’cause I usually have 32.5 to 37.5 lb in my SB and don’t really want to be pressing that over my head while lunging back or balancing on one leg like todays WO.  I can move that kind of weight over my head, but I like to have a nice solid weight training stance to do it in.  I need to stay healthy for work, and a tweeked back just doesn’t work for it.  Hell, I used to do over head presses with a 28 lb dumb bell in each hand, but that was with a nice solid stance, and sets of 15.

the other reason is that I already have very well defined shoulders and don’t really want to increase the muscle mass on them.  you should see me try to find a top to buy…LOL…between my shoulders, lats and arms there isn’t a lot that fits me, oh and the added bonus of being small chested, so if I buy a bigger size it just looks silly on me.  I wear a lot of stretchy stuff and sleeveless tops..

anyway, enough rambling, your idea is valid, and I may give it a try in a future WO, thanks Tee

        Gerri Lee

you know its funny, you’ve mentioned a couple of times that you had big arms etc but when I looked at that picture you posted, I thought you looked small, much smaller than me. I haven’t even tried to buy a blouse with sleeves or a jacket in years as I usually can’t get my arms in them! my biceps are a good 12 inches! my sister always used to buy jackets with shoulder pads! are you kidding, I’d look like a football player! lol

oh, and I’ve never seen a 28lb dumbbell? where you find such a thing?

  • midimidi

i did turbofat blaster since the new one isn’t up today.  I also am going to change up some things with my fitness and diet.  we are a constant experiment right?  These are my three goals for this month…drink a lot more water a day.  start eating 5 SMALL meals a day, and I am incorporating complex carbs in major moderation in the morning.  I miss oat meal and I am going to try it out.  I am also going to have a real plan diet wise.  I have had major success with my primal diet but I want to take it up a notch. so this month this is what I am doing and we will see how it affects me.  have a plan or plan to fail.

So it was “bringing sexy back for me”…one more workout and then my second fit test…
I bought a new exercise mat today, and now I have two normal ones, and then I put them together, fix them together and now I have a thick one…and it is blue and purple….
I don’t have money for the new thick one..so I have been creative….hihih

    kisses to you all

for 2 years I also had 2 – one thin and anti-slippering and second thick one for buffering :)

so for the second exercise, does it go like this for 1 rep:

    clean/press, lunge L, 10x mountain climbers
    or like this:
    clean/press, lunge L, lunge R, 10x mountain climbers?

i guess what i’m asking is if it’s 20 presses in total or 20 lunges in total per set?

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

       hi Chris

I did 10 mountain climbers / clean and press / lunge back left leg / lunge back right leg counted this as one set, the blurb said 20 lunges total, so I did 10 sets, hence 20 total lunges

      • Chris Lee

thanks gerri lee.  that’s what i was hoping for!

      • Chris Lee

thanks gerri lee.  that’s what i was hoping for!

    • http://www.janetspreiter.com Janet

I mistakenly (pretty sure) did 10x mt climbers, one pressup and lunge R, one pressup and lunge L.  I repeated this 20 times before it dawned on me (in a haze of ozygen deprivation) that it was supposed to be
10x mt climbers, one press up -and hold it- for lunge L, lunge R.  Repeat this 10X.

      • Chris Lee

aaaarrrgghhh!  that must have been tough!

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

       hey Chris,

I’ve got a mess load of fresh brown mushrooms and want to make a nice soup, but don’t want to use cream…any suggestions?  Was thinking of using potatoes and pureeing them for thickener, some leeks for color and flavor….diced carrots…bit of broc….not my husbands favorite, but I love it….anyway, if you get the chance, your thoughts would be great.

      Gerri Lee

      • Chris Lee

        hi gerri lee,

if you want a puree soup, potatoes make a great thickener, and they’ll also make your soup “creamy” in colour and consistency.  sounds like you’re on the right track!  you could try something like this:

process half your mushrooms and roughly chop the other half
sweat diced carrots, leeks and onion over med-low heat in olive oil
add a little garlic and fresh thyme
add the processed mushrooms, increase heat to medium and cook until most of the moisture is released
add some good stock (mushroom or chicken)
        add some diced potatoes
bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender
        season to taste
puree everything in a blender until smooth

saute the chopped mushrooms with some diced shallots and fresh thyme (you could add some tiny broccoli florets here if you want).  season with salt & pepper

pour the soup into bowls, garnish with sauteed mushroms and maybe some extra virgin olive oil.

if you don’t want to puree the soup, cook the potatoes separately and add them to the finished broth, and slice all the mushrooms instead of pureeing half

hope this is of some help!  let me know how it turns out!

        chris

        • Gerri Lee Schafer

awesome, thanks Chris, making me hungry…hahaha…I love making soup.  My favorite comfort food for the winter.  That’s pretty much what I had envisioned, lots of mushrooms, nice bits of onions and garlic.  Got this on the menu for the weekend.  Will let you know how it turned out

    A hard hill run first.
Finished this in 24:10 with a 17.3 lb sandbag.  By mistake I did twice the prescribed amount on the mt climb/lunges, plus did a press up each lunge.  Halfway through I realized this was above and beyond, but figured I would keep on track.  I was sweating bulletssssssss!

  • Josefine White

My god all those boring comments about what L.M is wearing and wether it is good or not ; it”s out of the point and if people would post their scores instead of gossiping endlessly about issues that have no interest whatsover….
YES M.L HAS A NICE BODY AND SHOWS IT. FURTHERMORE SHE IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE  US WANT TO DO  THE WORKOUT. Personally a fatty  and slubish person in  a saggy jogger wouldn’t motivate me AT ALL…..
SO PLEASE STOP THOSE NONSENSE SCHMOOZE AND GET DOWN TO IT : POST YOUR SCORES AND THEN WE CAN HAVE AN INTERESTING EXCHANGE AT LAST….

Did anyone here do the workout or was it too shocking to consider?

  • Chris Lee

if that’s whatt takes to fit into a bikini, i’m not sure i want to wear one!

it took me 17:15 with a 15kg sb.  i thought the clean/press/lunge/mtn climber combo would be the hardest, but it was the spider pushups that killed me!  man, did i feel HEAVY near the end!

to borrow bonnie’s term, i did an “afterburn” of:
    3x3minute rounds
    sb bicep curl (62)
    bent over sb row (121)
    wide grip pullups (28)

    chris

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

Not sure I want you to wear one either…LOL….I agree, the push ups were killer

    • BodyRocker_Bonnie

The pushups killed me too, guess I will be adding them into the push-up party mix now :)

  • Gerri Lee Schafer

     Hi Belladixie,

If you read through the comments you will notice that there is a mixture of people who do just the posted WO’s and those that add in extras, skipping, push ups, abs, surfing, hill climbing, jogging, bicycling, etc.

If you are just starting out with exercise I suggest that you stick with one routine a day, modified as needed, and remember to watch what you are eating.  Garbage in, garbage out…eat clean.

    Gerri Lee

You guys might think I am weird but I actually wanted to go buy myself some nice underwear and exercise in it, it must be very comfortable so it’s something I will definitely try :)

    plus burpee for erin!

Hi josefine – why bother adding to it then!  there are more comments on why people shouldn’t comment than ones that did.

  • Gerri Lee Schafer

Great times….I only did one round and it took me 19:50 !!!!!!  I know I’ve tried to catch you before, but haven’t connected yet, I think.  If you create a disqus account people can follow your comments much easier, and you can follow theirs.  I don’t always have time like today to read through the comments to find yours.

     Well said.

I just had a conversation with Lisa-marie in my head. (and no i’m not completely crazy). I have been pretty good today no bad snacks. Had eggs and fruit for breakfast, oatmeal and blueberries for a snack, and I was making mini pizza’s (as healthy as i can ) and i was so super hungry i got some almonds out. and as my earlier post stated I have been having a terrible horrible no good very bad day. So half way through my almonds i got a craving for CHOCOLATE. I got the nutella our, this stuff is evil really. I dipped my almonds in the chocolate. and as i took my first bite i heard Lisa-marie screaming and bouncing at me TO STOP, PUT DOWN THE NUTELLA!!!! and i ate it anyways, and five later the conversation got to the point where she was telling me to get down and do 20 push ups. So i may be a little crazy, huh? because it was not just her in my head no i heard it in her voice the way she talks.
Although I did not stop my self from eating that damn nutella, Lisa-marie was certainly in my head making a difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Thanks

    • BodyRocker_Bonnie

Her voice pops into my head every morning at 5am…”Come on, get up!  Get your trainers on!” I love it :)

CariKae, good for you for pushing through this hard stuff in your day, that’s the hardest time when you are feeling down or overwhelmed to “bring it”.  But  you did, and its a part of who you are now.  Keep tapping into that space, you’re a BodyRocker :)

I’m going to do JessJN’s WO in the morning.  For those that want to try it out too…..

    Part 1 & 3
    10/30 X 6 = 4min

1-leg side hop + side kick, alternate sides
side burpee (no pushup) + knee tuck, alternate sides
reptile + leg lift (butt lift), alternate sides

    Part 2 & 4
3 min countdown, max reps of:
    10 jump lunges
    drop to plank & do a push-up
    roll over
    10 knee hugs
    roll over, hop to standing
    that’s a rep.

    • http://moveeatlivewell.blogspot.com/2012/01/jessicas-beginners-guide-to-bodyrocktv.html JessJN

I ended up adding a jump tuck to the side burpee knee tucks in parts 1& 3, and a second push up in parts 2 & 4 to make it more intense.  I hope you like it!

      • Gerri Lee Schafer

You’re quick!  I only did 4 sets of the time challenges.  What are mason twists?

          • Gerri Lee Schafer

thanks, not so quick in the burpee department though…hahaha….mason twists, balance on your tail bone, legs bent or straight if you can, slight back lean to upper body, clasp your hands into one fist, twist and touch the floor beside your butt, each side is one rep, go as fast as you can…great all around ab WO

Oh, yeah. I like to do those with my fitball, legs bent & off the ground. :)

Did this again!  35lb sandbag for the second exercise, 18lb sandbag for the third and I came in at 22:08. :)

  • AmBoaksy

OMG arm death!!!!  The mtn climbers/clean + press/lunges killed me.  Took some serious breaks in this one, but I refused to use the easier modification.  I knew I could do it.  It just took me 29:07.  I have no idea how some of you did it in 18 mins.  That’s insane.  Kudos to you guys!!!!

  • Gerri Lee Schafer

btw, I posted a few pics further down in the comment section….Tee didn’t believe me about having large arms and shoulders….I think they are pretty big for a girl….hahahaha

    • MariaBjørgJepsen

They look amazing!!! :D Be proud!!!

  • MariaBjørgJepsen

Finally trying it tomorrow morning at 4:30 am, before work :D

  • Natalie Anna

this took me around 24 minutes. I wasn’t really feeling it that day =/ I dunno, I was like pouring sweat but I don’t feel like I pushed as hard as I could. I dont think it was supposed to take that long.. how long did it take you guys!?

What a lovely lamp! I have the same… Does that means I get a rock hard body too? ;-)

  • MariaBjørgJepsen

I finally got to this one. Saturday morning at 5 am, gotta love it :D I am still recovering from a nasty cold I never really took my time to recover from, during this week, so it was hard! My 15 kilo sandbag felt really heavy today.

    Time = 11:45.

    Enjoy your weekend, friends :)
    I’m off to work!

    Love, Maria

I always think that it is so weird that you’re saying you did this saturday morning at 5 am, when it’s friday night and I’m still working ’cause it’s not even 9pm yet! lol the world is a big place!

whatever happened to your holiday maria? Did I miss something?

      • MariaBjørgJepsen

Oh, so much happened, dear Tee…. But I didn’t make it this time, hopefully some time in the nearest future. I am okay, though. Thanks for asking :) Are you enjoying your weekend? Love, Maria.

      • MariaBjørgJepsen

Thank you so much, Gerri! So sweet of you <3 And you are right, I should push myself to rest completely. But first, I need to work at 5:45 tomorrow morning. After = sleep, tea, rest and food :) Enjoy your weekend! Love, Maria.

Wait…wasn’t that what we were sposed to do????  That’s wat I did. lol.  O well, better to work more than less.

  • MariaBjørgJepsen

Still not feeling on top, at all :( Workout for today: ZWOW III x 2 = 07:56 & 06:55. 4 minutes of High Knees: between 91-95 reps. 100 Running Man Abs. Doing the newest Bikini Rep tomorrow morning. Enjoy your Sunday, friends. Love, Maria.

I just finished this, it took me 29:44. Ugh what a killer but SO good! :)

  • http://twitter.com/LoveKristyxo Kristy

It took me 29:44, so don’t feel bad! It is tough!

  • BodyRocker_Bonnie

Maaaan, this was the hardest thing ever!!! This was actually my first workout with Lisa! :) So far I only did older workouts with Zu, but still watched these new, this one I loved from the beginning and I gave it a try today. SO BRUTAL!!! It took me 36:57 and I think I sweated off like a zillion gallons of sweat. I only used my 10kg sandbag in first round, then I switched to bodyweight (acutally 2 reps in round 2 and 3 reps in round three were with sandbag for 2nd exercise, rest was bodyweight, and for rounds 2 and 3 I used two 3kg dumbells for third exercise.) I WAS A KILLER!!! Thank you for this one, I dont ever wanna do it again :D

This workout was really intense for my shoulders! Got it done though. Did it yesterday after a 3 mile run.  :)

    Time: 00:08:27
    Per heart rate monitor:
    - Calories 54
    - Avg HR 134
    - Max HR 162

  • MariaBjørgJepsen

hahaha, I guess I am happy my ex can be in such deep sleep, he almost never hears anything :)

    • Vivi

      haha you’re too funny !

  • Jill Hobbs

Oh, I wanted to stop after round 2. But I didn’t. Completed this in 35:55 and it killed me. My sandbag was 27 lbs. and I think it was a bit too heavy. I found the Mountain Climber/Clean & Press/ Lunge Combo especially brutal as my hamstrings were still sore from dead lifts 2 days ago.

    Thanks for another tough workout!

    • rybka

hehe I wanted to stop after first exercise:))) It took me I think about 40 min:))

19 minutes 59 seconds. Those 1,2,3 push ups are killer!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1037690594 Karen O’ Reilly

Never be discouraged! The more you workout, the better scores you’ll have. And I always use others scores to push myself even harder. You’re doing great.
