    18 minutes :)

Ok, didn’t attempt to do the squats with the kettlebell… hmmm… legs were dead after the lunge kicks with the kettlebell, so didn’t have the strength (or energy) for the squats too, so just did it without, using my own bodyweight.  Still a good workout.  I enjoyed this one, but if I was to do it again i’d probably lose the kettlebell for the lunge kicks and use it for the squats… did it the wrong way around.  Legs were a little stiff from yesterday’s workout too.

  • Anonymous

I did this after completing the 360 rep challenge from yesterday.  Missed a workout day due to illness so wanted to catch up.
14:10 but with no sandbag (was too easy, def will use my sandbag next time)
    Still happy though. Thanks!

  • Chel

I’m still waiting for my sandbag to arrive, so I’m going thru older posts and modifying them.  Just  finished this.  If the quote “Sweat is fat crying”, then my fat is having the crying fit of a two year old!  I’m dying..lol such a good work out!

  • HaleyinCanada

9:21!  It was a good push.

  • rybka

do BR 5x a week and eat clean! easy as….

  • LaShawn

I was out of town last weekend & missed a couple workouts as a result, so I just now did this one in 22.29, using 30 lb handbag. Now if I do the next workout i’ll be all caught up by Sat. Lovin Bodyrock & lovin the results. Rock on! Thanks Lisa Marie, Sean & Freddy.

  • Ivča

WOw, good one:) it took me 14. 25 … it´s not bad.

  • Ihesha

Had to modify this a bit, couldn’t do the last high knee skip set so I doubled the straight ab and bicycle ab to compensate. Now I’m exhausted :) LOVE IT!!!

I love roundhouse kicks, and kicks of all kinds! was a taebo junkie for quite a few years! alternating roundhouse really work your side abs! I’ve got to make up more workouts with kicks and punches! LOL

    • Mary Lou

Me too! I did kenpo! Now, do I want to bring the stationary bag upstairs, or just clean out a space downstairs??? Hmm… You’ve set a plan in motion.

Agreed, the only reason I go to the gym anymore is to do a really, really awesome deadlift. My sand bag hits the ground before I can get a good extension, so it’s the one exercise I can’t do at home.

Hah, when I did this back in January – my timer didn’t work! My hubby had given me a time of “roughly 15 mins” – which I doubt was very accurate.
My official time today is 20:54 for the following ~
    -100 High Knee Skips
    -50 Left Lunge Back & Kick (first 25 w/ 14kg, second 25 w/ 10kg)
    -50 Right Lunge Back & Kick (First 25 w/ 14kg, second 25 w/ 10kg)
    -100 High Knee Skips
    -100 Squats (first 50 w/ 14kg, second 50 with 10kg)
    -100 High Knee Squats
    -25 Straight Abs
    -25 V Abs Left
    -25 V Abs Right
    -25 Bicycle Abs

    Thank you !

Hi! Today was my first workout ever :) did it in 15:17 with no equipment. Very motivating videos!

Thanks for your answer! I work in an office so during the day I am pretty much just sitting on my butt.. The only exercise I get is going to get some tea and going to the toilet haha! I am now eating 5-6 times a day (most of the time I stick to 5 because I am full) but I think you are right and 1100 is maybe to little.. I have never eaten much but I was eating the wrong things (chips, soda and other bad stuff) so I think that was my problem. I will keep going on and keep bodyrocking!!

  • Jules

Thanks so much Lisa for posting this workout again for us.  Sending prayer’s Freddy’s way and much love <3. I love that you're here with BodyRock tv Lisa Marie, you have brought so much joy and laughter to the workouts. Thanks for all  your hard work!!  My time 19:12, lol I kept the sandbag over my head the entire 100 lunge kickups..soooo hard. Hope you are all doing well <3

  • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

Sending love to Freddy and Sean and the family…you know, honestly, you don’t need to put a workout up EVERY day!  It’s a mammoth effort and we love you for it, but I hope you don’t think you absolutely need to.  There are so many loads of great workouts on the site, old and new, from a variety of different styles.  I think it’s kind of neat the way you all settle in to one style for a little bit, then change it up.  Sean’s pyramid style workouts (they’re not pyramid, but whatever you call it, where you count down) are just DEADLY.  I have to get caught up on those!

Tonight I am going to do an old school one: Fat Destroyer.  The last time I did it it really did a number on my legs and I loved it.  And it’s 20 min intervals, which is always a good burn.

  • Anonymous

ooohh you smashed my time! Good job!

  • Natalie Anna

I finished in 21 minutes and 57 seconds! I used a 12lb ball to hold over my head for the kicks, and a 20lb bar to hold on my shoulders for the squats.

  • GFGidget

This only took me 11:00. I didn’t have weights because I am in a hotel room. I added extra an and high knee skip reps to make up for the lack of weights. It’s amazing how much easier it is to train at sea level vs a mile above sea level where I normally train!

  • Daphedan

Did this one in 20:16 with 15# dumbbell for the lunges and 30# for the squats….Great workout!!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002922208097 Ashley Robb

Since I just started looking into BodyRock.tv yesterday, I tried this 600 Rep Challenge today (pumped for today’s workout now!!) and I will admit I slacked on the squats because my legs felt as if they were going to give out on me! Anyways I wrote down the times it took to complete each activity with a total of about 10:08, but I know it was longer than that because I took a few breaks in between. Now I know what to do when recording rep challenges, so hopefully better luck next time for me! I feel great and energized now, though, so keep em comin!! :) )

    Happy Body Rockin’!! :) )

ha ha! I put the hardest exercises at the beginning! which was good for me as I kept wanting to quit! lol

Tee’s workout was so tough that my left glute was cramping last night!  Today I took it easy & did my favorite “my legs are to sore for squats” workout: abs assassin.   http://www.bodyrock.tv/2010/04/01/abs-assassin-workout/

oops sorry! ha ha! no I’m not! lol Actually my left hamstring is really tight today! funny!

If you’re feeling “starving” then that really isn’t good. Upping your protein intake might help – I genuinely find myself eating more throughout the day if I forget to eat protein with each meal. If you’re still feeling hungry when you’ve added protein then you need to eat more.

Try not to worry about calories and just eat /small/ portions whenever you get hungry. If you feel like you’re starving all day then your training, your body and your health will suffer in the long run.

Re: muscle soreness, are you stretching after your workouts? For years I ignored this simple advice and I had to take breaks of 2-3 days after every workout! Now that I stretch thoroughly after every workout, I can bodyrock 5 days a week without feeling pain the next day :)

If you click “stretching and cool down” at the top of this page, you’ll find an old Zuzana stretching routine – it’s really great and this is the routine I use every day :)

I did this in 16:41.  Loved it.  The abs were hard, but I pushed through. I’m pretty excited.  After a year of bodyrocking I’m finally starting to see signs of a beautiful stomach.  I knew it was in there somewhere, but three pregnancies and not eating well and exercising regularly it was pretty well hidden.  Thank you Bodyrock.  I might even post pictures when my abs do finally make an appearance.

I liked this workout, but today I did one I’ve been wanting to do for a long time…Swimming in My OWn Sweat Workout.  Only instead of sb swings I did reptile and leg lift on the balance ball.  GREAT workout!  A good hangover-buster from all the sweat!

Yes, I’m a masochist. :)  It’s psychologically so much better than the other one that’s very similar, though, becuase this one at least counts DOWN from 20 to 10 rather than up.

    hey guys!

I made up a time challenge workout today!  it’s 1000 reps.  if any of you decide to try it feel free to double it or triple it (maria or vivi! lol) use weights, vests, elevations etc!  ha ha!  I mostly used body weight!

    100 high knees
25 pushups with 2 knee tucks
    100 sandbag swing (I used a 15lb dumbbell)
25 half burpee with calf raise
    100 side jump lunges
    25 reverse pushups
    100 mountain climbers
    25 supergirl planks
    100 crab kickups
25 single leg toe touches (I counted each one as one but feel free to do two = 1 rep!)
    100 low jacks
25 around the world squats (I used 16lb “sandbag”)
100 side to side punches (ha ha these made me dizzy! )
    25 pike presses
    100 roundhouse kicks (alternating)
25 ball passes (used a swiss ball because I keep dropping medicine balls on my face!  counted each time I brought the ball down with my feet as one)

have a good rest of your weekend everyone!

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

nice one Tee….I’m debating doing a Z-athon this coming week…guess it depends on the new WO’s …LOL

This was great, @tee_w:disqus !  I modified your workout slightly & loved it.

100 high knees with jump rope
25 pushups with 2 knee tucks, all full
      100 sandbag swing (~22lb sandbag)
25 half burpee with calf raise & arm raise
      100 side jump lunge touchdowns
      25 bent-over sandbag rows (22lb in bag)
      100 mountain climbers
      26 supergirl planks
100 crab kickups (50 jumping kicks, 50 slower kicks)
26 single leg toe touches (I counted each switch as one)
100 low jacks with rope (each foot fall = 1 rep)
25 around the world squats (12.5 lb in bag)
100 regular jumping jacks, no rope (each footfall = 1 rep)
      25 pike presses
100 roundhouse kicks (alternating in sets of 25 per leg.  Mine were like backward lunge side kicks)
25 ball passes (swiss ball, each switch = 1)

35:21, including 2 water breaks & stopping to remove weight from my bag.  I think my actual time was closer to 34:00.

Followed with 5 clean/press/squat with 22# in bag….my legs were shaking so I cooled down & called it a night.  Thanks, Tee!

& if you don’t have the dip station, you can do sandbag row instead!

Hi…so I did it, after training with “the ladies”..
but I did some modifications..my back are still not strong enough…more like I am not 100% sure of them…so..
instead of sandbag swings I just did twist jumps
instead of around the world I did normal sandbag squats, and I did my push ups from knees, I was tired from my first workout..
and with this modifications my time is 27:56

      thank you tee

I did this in 21:31… lol was awesome… but I couldn’t breathe… I was dripping sweat half way through, I had it rolling down my arms haha (which I was flinging it at my kids haha). Of course it was a blast, and I am going to do it again soon so I can see if I have improved :D ! My skipping is getting good again too. So that is excellent :D ! Thanks guys :D !

I did the Sexy time ab workout plus the towel drab push up 10,8 and the wall hold and knee tuck 9 set and I ended with 7 treadmill sprints of 30 each.
    Great Sweat!

20 minutes and 5 seconds. Not bad considering I played a gig with my band last night, finished at 2:30 and didn’t get home until 3:30 in the morning, then up at 9 am. I feel dog tired but pushed through it. Didn’t manage sandbag over the head for the lunge kicks, just hugged it to my chest.
