Did this today and was loving every minute of it! It was hard! I did time myself but want real sure about the exercises so I had to go back and forth watching the video which added some time! So I will try again . Today my time was 37.56 but I will whoop it next time, now that I know what i’m doing! Such a good workout!

  • Esturtle

44:23! And I did EVERYTHING (that required weight) with 20lbs.
I took too many breaks. And I went through and did half of everything and then did it again. I want to do it the “right” way next time.

Thank you! I have been so pleased with the results I’ve gotten from Body Rock, a good diet, and running. Keep on keepin’ on, right? ;)

Thank you so much! It’s been an amazing journey- and I’ve got halfway to go. Thank God for Body Rock.

31 minutes, I got a stitch during the 500 skips.
I’m very happy with that time, next time I can do it faster. Those backward lunges were killer, I did them without the weights.

I am very excited because A) today is my birthday, and B) I wanted an extra cool workout for today, and tackled this one again and BEAT MY TIME BY 7 MINUTES!!!  I got 40:32, and last time I did it in 47 minutes.  Last time, though, I think I must have been ill, or maybe overheated.  I remember being extremely beat.

I used a 35lb sandbag for the bag drop and my 18lb sandbag for the lunges.  I started the lunges above my head, then dropped to my chest, but if I took a break and started again I would start with it above my head again.  I probably did about half overhead and half on my chest.  I did FULL burpees (with a push up), and teh bag drop thing didn’t have a good flow because I had to place the bag down, then jump to a cushion and do the jump tuck on a cushion.

    Thanks for all you do!

    April 24

Got this one done this morning.  Used 32.5 lb SB.  Held it to my chest for the back lunge forward kicks.  Did 5 rounds of 10 reps.  Took me 31:21

Not if you squat down low while keeping your back flat/straight.  Otherwise, they can be tough on your back if you don’t use proper body mechanics.  I always say practice first with form and no extra weight and once you got an exercise down then start to add weight little by little.  Is your back ok Mindy?

I’ve missed your posts KIMBERLAKE93.  Sorry to hear about your health scare, I hope you get better :(    A while back Chris_L posted an update in the comments section that Erin is in remission.  So proud of her!  The burpees and well wishes helped for sure!  I think the time you finished with this workout is pretty good!  Welcome back hun!

    • KIMBERLAKE93

Awwww thanks so much Audra!! I’ve missed you too, girl!!!
That’s FANTASTIC to hear about Erin!! Burpees and energy can go a long way!! :)

I just love these rep challenges! This one was HARD! 37:07 for me using 22 lb. sandbag.

    Modifications:
I alternated the drop bag (10 or 20) and the high knees (100).
I did the plank from the floor.
I alternated legs after every 10 on the overhead lunge kicks and only used the bag for the first 10 on each leg.

    MORE please!

20:10 with my 15 kilo sandbag.
I lost a little count in the “sandbag drop combo”, so I might have made 55 reps of those. I don’t have a skipping rope, so the last 500 were regular High Knees. Killer routine – thank you!!!
    Love, Maria

    • MariaBjørgJepsen

I did the lunges holding my sandbag in stretched arm, like Lisa did.

      • Vivi

You could with 15kg !! OUCH you impressed me so much again !
With a weight up like that I’m always scarde to make pain in my back…. I really feel that I use too much my back not in a good form, and that’s why I have problems of balance too.
        You’re AWESOME !

        • MariaBjørgJepsen

Thanks for your fantastic support, my dear girlfriend. I really appreciate it <3 I DID hurt my back, somehow, Maybe in the lunges or the sandbag pick-ups? I have a nerve stuck near my left shoulder now, and it really hurts badly :( Stupid me!!! What did you do in the weekend?
          Love, Maria

          • Vivi

Yes I find the 1 arm press up “dangerous” for the back that’s why I didn’t add to much weight. So to think that you put more than twice of what I used…OUCH !!

For this weekend We ate with my family (bubbles still & always ! hahah ! & wine! No no I was not with Gerri lee! lol )
And we went with kids to walk(rather to run with kids !!) by the sea. A lot of wind but great and my workouts of course !!

            And you ???

            • Gerri Lee Schafer

hahaha, come and visit and we’ll have some wine together. I kept my SB at 32.5 lb about 15 kilo but instead of doing an overhead press, I just kept it at my chest. worked the legs, but no chance of back injury

    • Vivi

Don’t tell me that you did your 1350reps after this one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you never sore ???In difficulty? to let us to hope to beat you just once !! hahaha !
A such inspiration you are !!!

      • MariaBjørgJepsen

Hey sweety! Noooo, I only did the 1000 rep’er on Sunday and my own 1350 yesterday, I am only human, haha :)

        • Vivi

We sometimes doubt it (even often)!!!!!

  • jjboch

OMG!!!  Just finished this.  I used my 30lb sandbag for the whole routine….and the only mod being that i did 30 lung back kick ups with my 30lb sandbag and 20 bodyweight to rest my shoulders….

29mins and 31 seconds!!!!!  I sprinted through my last 200 skips to beat 30 mins!!!  Feelin fantastic!!!

    xoxo

  • ZoeRocker

I think that’s why she called them “scissor lunges” because its a different exercise.

  • ZoeRocker

I had to modify this one a little due to the fact that I had to work today and a couple other things. So I did half the workout in the morning and the other half when I got home. the first half took me 16:24 and the second half took me 14:05. So 30:31 in total. If I had done it all at once I’m sure it would’ve taken longer.

I did the back lunges without any weight because they’re hard enough on my knees as is. And I did SB squats instead of tuck jumps cuz they kill me knees. Also, I did this one in the park across the street and there was nowhere to elevate my legs so I did push-ups instead of the elevated knee tucks. I’ll do the abs bonus later on for sure.

This one was a killer. Thanks guys. Can’t wait to hear about the casting! Try getting back to us on the site instead of FaceBook!! I miss the “Life & Travel” videos being posted here.

Are you guys going to be launching profiles or is that not happening anymore?

    Luvs you!!

    Zoe

  • Ioan Elena

Ooooooooooooooook! I did one today, and yesterday, I did the “My body rocks” workout… So at the end, I was lying on the floor, for about 20 min, almost dead! What a circuit!!!!

  • Anonymous

    nasty!

It took me 49min 45sec.!  all those damn burpees!  I will say my form was excellent today and my burpees with jumps and with jump tucks had flow today!  usually I am sort of choppy but today coming up off the floor I was exploding into the jumps and jump tucks!  Pat myself on the back!  I used my 10lb medicine ball for the fireman lift since my “sandbag” went on a sleepover!  lol.  I did a front lunge instead of back lunge as it is easier on my toe that’s acting up.(used a 5lb dumbbell and had to keep stopping to rest my arm! lol)  and I just did regular skipping, which after all that was intense enough for me!

    have a great saturday!  thanks!

  • Chris Lee

    holy.  crap.

that was absolutely ridiculous.  i loved it!  well, i love it now that i’m done.  not so much while i was doing it.

took me 34:48 with no mods and a 36 lb sb.  the bag drop combo took the longest for me, but the hardest by far was the lunge back kick ups.  i have to do those again soon!

wicked combo!  thanks for a great week!

    chris

  • http://moveeatlivewell.blogspot.com/2012/01/jessicas-beginners-guide-to-bodyrocktv.html JessJN

    4/21/2012
I modified a little & omitted the 500 high knees.  My 500 rep workout took 36:12.  I took many breaks…I am a bit fatigued & it shows!

I used a 10# kettle ball for the bag drop, & did 35 with tuck jumps, the rest as just jumps
For the overhead lunge kick ups I used a 5# kettle ball
I did squat jumps instead of tuck jumps, & regular jumping jacks instead of floor touchdown jacks.
I did the plank elbow tucks off the floor, not elevated.

This was tough, even with my simplifications!

  • Lvette_1

My total time 41:36.  I broke this into 5 rounds of 10 x10 and 1×100. I don’t think that is cheating, I still put in 1000 reps in total.

I’m now posting as Lvette_1, no longer Lvette #1.

PS. Any interested bodyrocker can join the  workout buddy group. The only reason I specify 30 45 age range was so I can better critic my strenght and performance agnist people around my age.

    • http://moveeatlivewell.blogspot.com/2012/01/jessicas-beginners-guide-to-bodyrocktv.html JessJN

      Can I join? I’m 33.

    • Anonymous

49 min 45 sec! killer! and I now weigh only 147.5lb whoot whoot! but I’m still 47 years old! ha ha!

      • http://BodyRock.Tv/ Lvette_1

        That’s or girl tee!

    • Bodyrocker_Audra

We were on the same page Lvette :)   I did 5 rounds of 10 each with the skipping in 100 reps because I like to break up these high rep routines as well.  Good job on your time!

      • http://BodyRock.Tv/ Lvette_1

I had to do that for me mentally or it just look too hard to accomplished.

  • Vivi

I did this one this morning and really really hard ! OMG ! with my shoulders already sore with gym of the week ! Ouch very challenging !
As you say Audra the 3rd exercises seemed to not have end !!
I used 10kg for it but only 6kg for the KILLER lunges & kick. 10kg gave to much porblems of balance so I did only the 20 first reps with 10kg). And the 500 skips I did it 100 by 100. It’s always so hard the jump rope for my shoulders! I ask myself if there is nothing I do wrong ??? :(

My time is 21.29 min for this one.
After I did Blackclash Wo (Kyla) but this 1000reps killed me so much that my score could be better ;)
    Squat & press 10kg : 34.28
    PU & Reptile : 23.20
    1 Toe touch sit up : 40.36
    Jump lunges : 74.65
    Plank and 1 arm row : 21.21
    Dips (like the video): 35.36
    Sumo squat & knee : 35.38
    Pendulum abs : 25.28
    Plank-elbow plank : 20.21
    Snowboarder : 47.45

I would like to do Z’14 but no more strenght for me after these 2 ones. So it will be for tomorrow ;)

For those who follow Kyla too, Do you notice that she do her  exercises more slowly than we usually do with BR ?
It’s strange how muscle work differently ! Of course we do less reps with this rythm but I find almost most challenging ! not you ? I don’t know if I’m very clear in my explanations ! haha
But to be less focused on the timer, and the reps permit to work hard too !

    Good weekend everyone ! <3

    • MariaBjørgJepsen

Oh my God, how is it possible to finish it so fast? Incredible!!! I will try myself tomorrow morning :)

      • Bodyrocker_Audra

No pressure, Maria :) The Bodyrocker nation awaits your return lol. Oh and good luck!

      • Vivi

It will be not difficult to you to beat me ! lol ! I had to have few breaks during some exercises (like lunge & kick even with 6 kg !) And Jump rope still take time to me :(
For the jump tuck I did them 10-10-10-20 without stop ;)

Well now I have to warm up to do Z’14.

Do you enjoy your weekend ? I saw your picture with your brother ;)

    • Bodyrocker_Audra

Wow Vivi!  Your a firework!  How did you have any energy left for a second workout after this one?  I know… It’s the Bodyrocker in you :)

      • Vivi

I did the second one because I decided it before…but believe me the second round were a torture !! My reps are less important as you can see ! :p
It would be ridiculous to to a 3rd one …I was really too much sore on my legs & shoulders !

  • Anonymous

Did this one on Wednsday it was awesome :D !! I loved the burn and the total sweat out :D !! Was great, can’t wait to do it again :D !!

  • Jessica LeBoeuf

So I was pretty intimidated by this workout, but decided to just go for it. I split it into two rounds and instead of doing 500 high knees I ran a mile. I finished the workout in 24 minutes and ran the mile finishing in a total of 30 minutes. That was a very sweaty and brutal workout. I did it in the morning and the whole day my legs were fatiqued, which is awesome@3f3c8d4c0b6ad14df916ffd12718496a:disqus
    - means I did something LOL. I’m sure I’m REALLY going to feel it in the morning, yay!!

  • Cindy

YES, YES YES, I did it today at the gym. My time was 42 minutes and this baby made me cry for mercy. I followed with Killer Curves workout
Oblique hold and reach under L 25
Oblique hold and reach under R 26
Plank alternating arm and leg reach 40
Wow, this is great doing CARDIO on land!

  • Bodyrocker_Audra

I was cursing up a storm Lisa!  Those bag drop combos took foooreeeever haha!  My time 31:59 30lb SB no mods and with a rope.

MariaBjorgJepsen where are you?   I know you killed this under 20-25 minutes girl!

    • http://moveeatlivewell.blogspot.com/2012/01/jessicas-beginners-guide-to-bodyrocktv.html JessJN

      My guess is 18:07.

      • Anonymous

vivi did it in just over 21min, so I’ll guess….18 min even! this is exciting! lol

        how is thst even possible?

        • Vivi

For sure she can do it under 20 min !!!
Can’t wait to see her score as always <3

  • Mary Lou

I don’t have time for these long ones during the week so I chopped it down to 500 and did it in 21:42. 20lbs in the bag and used 10 lb dumbbells for the lunge kick. Everybody kept asking me questions and distracting me, so I was sucking wind and messing up a lot on the rope, but at least it is DONE!

  • Bodyrocker_Audra

Very impressive time Kate!  I believe you killed it!  I too wish that the Bodyrock crew would reply to some comments here being they have some of the most loyal Bodyrocker’s on the so-called “white list”.  Some interaction here would be greatly appreciated but, after all, it’s Freddy’s website, and he is the boss lol.

Well maybe they are about making really supportive bras! :D

  • Jules

Killllllller workout, love, love, loved it!!!!  My time : with full burpees (pushups) 40:25.  I loved the abs bonus, really enjoyed your calmness and control in this one. Hope everyone had a super fantastic day today :) :) <3

I’ll be  rocking this  on Saturday April 21 in Canada. I’m looking for female bodyrockers from 30-45 years old for friendly score competitions to be  my excerise buddy on   this site for the next year. I just realised I workout harder and frequently when I’m accountable not just to myself. I’m 40, 5’2 & 130lb) and  a BR since 2010.  The plan is for us to post our scores on each workout push each other, but also support each other and focus more on the excerising part of this community.  I hope there are  bodyrockers out there willing  to join me.

    Cheers!

    • Anonymous

      aw!  I’m too old!

oh well. planning on doing this one saturday as well, in canada!  lol

soon to be 43, 5′ 5 1/2″ and 138 lbs, but I do my own thing lots of times, some of the new routines just don’t work for me….but I do post what I do all of the time

    • Bodyrocker_Audra

Hmmm, well I’m 32, live in Arizona, 5’4″135lb and I just finished this workout.  Would love to join ya or anybody else for that matter :)

      • Lvette_1

Whoot! Audra is in the team.

Oh yah join us. So far, Audra, Tee, JessJN and Gerri Lee are in.

    • Janessa Reimer

So are you only looking for people who are 30 – 45 ….cause i’d like to join, but i am only 23 years old….no hurt feelings though if you just want people 30-45, its all good, just thought i’d ask :)

      • http://BodyRock.Tv/ Lvette_1

I’ve posted saying anyone could join. The reason for the age range was I wanted to compare my strength and performance with people closer to my age so I can see how hard I was pushing myself.

    • Cilia Frascone1

Great idea…I’d love to join the group:)
I live in Connecticut, am 43, 5′ 3″ and 132lbs. I’ve been bodyrocking for about a year now.
As a matter of fact, I’ll start with this one…51 min 9 sec…using my 40lb SB for the Bag Drop & Burpee Tuck Jump, and a 20lb weight for the overhand lunge and kick. I have to say, though I was at the gym and was stopped a couple of times to say how amazed they were at how intense my WO was..slowed me down a bit..(not that i’m complaining..lol..needed it…

      • http://BodyRock.Tv/ Lvette_1

I’ll be  rocking this  on Saturday April 21 in Canada. I’m looking for female bodyrockers from 30-45 years old for friendly score competitions to be  my excerise buddy on   this site for the next year. I just realised I workout harder and frequently when I’m accountable not just to myself. I’m 40, 5’2 & 130lb) and  a BR since 2010.  The plan is for us to post our scores on each workout push each other, but also support each other and focus more on the excerising part of this community.  I hope there are  bodyrockers out there willing  to join me.

    Cheers!

how did you recover so quickly from the surgery? i thought you should limit fitness activity for a few months. but maybe i am wrong.

34:16 I am so proud I did this! I used minor modifications and only 10 lb dumbbells for weight. For most of the exercises I used both of my dumbbells. For the high knees I counted single leg. Double leg would’ve been TOO much haha! I don’t have the weighted jumprope although I just ordered it so I just did High Knees. Dude! My legs feel like jello! The only problem I had with my performance was that I took too many breaks. When I have “900 more reps to go” or “Okay it’s only 50 reps” I tend to stop because I keep thinking if I push too hard I won’t finish the workout. At the same time, this was a REALLY hard workout and I didn’t think I could do it. So it’s good that I actually did it! So yay for that! But how do I really push myself on these rep challenges? It’s really hard. Just like life haha. anyway thank you for the workout!

    Ab bonus: 17,16,17
That was tough to do afterward!!

This is CRAZY time Kate! It’s where I want to be in a couple/6/12(??) months time! LOL  WOW, thanks for posting.  This is what keeps me going, seeing wicked scores from ‘normal’ people.  :0)

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1017284333 Serena Critch

I DID do this one this morning…amazed myself I must say, although a see a lot of you are WAYY ahead of my 2 months into bodyrock/just starting any kind training butt.  LOL  I did 20 reps of each only cutting the burpee out of the drop bag/squat/tuck jump and changing the tuck jumps to jumping jacks…I hate and loathe tuck jumps for some unknown reason, but I did the 20 of each and 200 high knees (so a 400reps challenge O_O ) in 16mins 55sec.  No idea if that’s OK or good or what….but I’ll be back to this one in a months time and will see if I can pump out 30 of each in about that time….or at least under 20mins. It’s all about the goals for me  :0)  Hope everyone has a great weekend.

  • LM28

I don’t mean anything bad by it at all, but I thought that too (a hand cupping a boob)…

    • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!! oh my god, I see it now!  How funny!

I still love it, and even MORE now. :)

    • Anonymous

that’s so funny!  it does look like that!  lol  I wonder if that was the intention?  hmmm.

    • Chris Lee

ah, geez!  why’d you guys have to say that?  now it’s all i see!  it totally looked like someone kicking their leg up until now!

      • Gerri Lee Schafer

oh, I can see that now too, with both arms in the air

    • Mmghia

Amazing workout!! I finished in 30:49.

  • Rachel

I wouldnt say horrible, just less deep of a lunge. It appears she was trying to get more speed (cardio) in her switch lunges rather than to go slower and deeper into them.

  • MamaEryn

Week 3 Body Rocking for me. My total time was 31:51 Wow, this was intense and great. Its amazing how far you can push yourself. Only gets better from here right?!?! :)

  • Anonymous

34 mins 28 sec, 30lb sandbag and no modifications.

And for all those wondering, Lisa’s time was 45 mins something sec (buried in the Facebook comments).

  • mdk

I know how hard it is to design logos, etc…  personally – the flow of this is off  (to me) – but if you like it…

  • Anonymous

where do you find her scores on facebook, as I looked but couldn’t find it?

  • Anonymous

hi erin, they actually got the math right, there are 50 reps each of 10 exercises.  they labelled two different exercises # 2.   so there is 1 – 10 and then 500 HK skips.

I’ve made it a game – like where’s waldo?  where’s the math mistake?

Check your diet and add some weight to your workouts. It makes a huge difference!

  • ZoeRocker

You’re right about the reps. They seem to miscount quite often. It’s funny. I enjoy the spelling and grammar mistakes in the posts as well. It cracks me up.

    • ZoeRocker

      Haha! Now I look like I can’t count….:p

  • Patrice Read

I’ve never done a whole 1000 rep challenge all the way through. I remember the last 1000 rep challenge w/ Sean & Kyla from Nov last year. I love it and did it/do it when I want a WO that I know and enjoy, but I’ve never done ALL 1000 reps. I had to do all 1000 reps today to show myself I could do 1000 reps in one “sitting”. 30 minutes….not too bad. Thanks for the encouragement Lisa! “You are strong enough to do this.” Yes, yes I am.

  • Tammy77

Hey guys, just finished this workout and let me tell you, it was tough! I’m soooOOO glad it’s over and  I’m soooOOOOO glad I finighed it and didn’t quit!

My time was 31:17 not including the AB bonus; which might I add was difficult too, especially doing these two back to back. However, I feel great and ready to get on with my day.

To all you BodyRockers out there, I hope you have a fab day!

    • KIMBERLAKE93

      GREAT job Tam!!!!! :)

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

you smoked me as usual….lol…I agree with you about yoga, nice, but too slow…not that I’ve tried the hot yoga, just power yoga

      • MariaBjørgJepsen

I am glad you agree, so I feel a little “normal” :)

  • Brandi Kern

I did this in 33:36—but I did the lunge kicks with my 25 lb. sandbag on my one shoulder–not in the air.  It was brutal!  Bring us more :)

  • K Suhitashvili

Love the workout! and your new logo is SUPERB!!!!!

  • Chris Lee

i’m going to keep this one in my pocket for saturday.  it looks fantastic, but something tells me i’ll need a little more time than normal.

  • Kat<3bodyrocker4life

    • Bodyrocker_Audra

Great time Kat!  On the flip side of things, I am now using your time for motivation/inspiration.  Although I’m not making any promises! lol

  • Cindy

I will hit this baby tomorrow so I can do it in the wooden floor at the gym. I want say a big THANK YOU to Freddy, Lisa and Sean for all you do for us.
“You can’t be great without the hate: Jackie Chiles.

  • Bodyrocker_Audra

Oh boy, by the looks of this challenge I’m taking a rest day today. That way when I do this tomorrow morning I’ll be fresh and DOMS free. Been getting a little sore from the workouts lately prob due to no weight training I’m sure. Looks brutal! Can’t wait to see some more times posted. What was your time Lisa?

    • Kat<3bodyrocker4life

      LOL Audra,
Come on you can Kill this one =)

  • MariaBjørgJepsen

I already did one of Kyla’s amazing workouts today, but this one is ON for tomorrow morning. It looks like FUN torture :) I love the pro look of the new logo, Freddy. Nice work!!!

  • http://moveeatlivewell.blogspot.com/2012/01/jessicas-beginners-guide-to-bodyrocktv.html JessJN

I’m just NOW getting to my workout today (it’s after 10pm here in California)!  Better late than never, right?  I like the new logo!

    Here’s a simple, gluten-free, lean & taste meal I made tonight:
    Orange Ginger Flank Steak Stir-fry:
    http://moveeatlivewell.blogspot.com/2012/04/orange-ginger-steak-stir-fry.html

Now, time to work it off…

BTW – Lisa, reverse french braids are awesome for taming your hair for workouts without pulling too much at your scalp.  My hair drive me CRAZY when it flys in my face during burpees, jumps, planks….everything.  A braid keeps me from feeling it pull on my scalp & keeps hair out of my face.  Win-win!

  • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

Ugh.  I did NOT beat you, Lisa!  However, I added push ups on the regular burpees.  And the bag drop thing takes a really long time because I can’t drop the bag and I have to do the tuck jumps on to a cushion and then step down.  So it doesn’t quite flow, but still.  I need to do this again because this was one of those workouts where I felt like my body wasn’t quite up to it.  I didn’t only feel tired, I felt like I might actually collapse.  I’ve been really fatigued lately, so maybe I’m getting sick or something.  I don’t know.  But, that being said…GREAT WORKOUT!!! Wow.  Very challenging.  And nice and simple.  I like how there are the long exercises, like the bag drop, mixed in with really quick ones, like the sscissor lunges or the high knees.

47:13 for all, and I am NOOOT doing the ab bonus!  I think tomorrow I’ll add it on to Rock My Body.

    Keep ‘em coming!!!  :)

    • Annebelwind

Kendra, can you tell me where you found Lisa’s score? I can not find it anywhere…. Thanks…

  • Anonymous

this one looks “fun”  got it scheduled for saturday already!  have fun in toronto!

    • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

I like the “fun”–I do that too.  It’s funny how “fun” becomes synonymous with “brutal” in the world of BodyRock!

  • http://aphrodiitee.deviantart.com/ Isidora
