Powerful Real Time Sweat Workout.

Check out our new guest host Lish in today’s Real Time Sweat Workout!!! If this mother of 3 can do it so can you!!!

So you may have noticed we have changed things up. Two years ago when we originally tried the real time format here on BodyRock it was too much for us to take on. We have doubled down and pushed out of our comfort zone, and as always when you break out of what is comfortable, a world of possibility opens up. I believe that the workouts that we are bringing you guys now are the best BodyRock has ever been. Our videos are just about the same length as before, but now you can follow the workouts right along with Sean & Lisa and check for tips and modifications right on the screen.

BodyRock will always be sexy – because we believe that the body is beautiful and something to be celebrated – but the focus is now more on the exercises – which is something that a lot of you guys have been requesting. You can now share our workouts with friends and family without the whole preamble that usually went something like this… “the workouts are awesome and inspirational but sometimes the shots can be a bit ummm….” :)

We are also expanding the team to include some new trainers and personalities. This will fully kick into gear this fall, but we have some new people coming on board over the summer starting today with Lish. I hope you guys will make her feel very welcome. She has been BodyRocking with us for years – through 3 pregnancies now and she is just a huge inspiration for us all – especially all of you moms out there looking to get back into your training. Lish will be a regular contributor moving forward :)

Set your interval timer to 50 seconds work with 10 seconds rest. (Beginners try 30 seconds or take breaks and modify where needed).  This workout is a total of 12 minutes!  Set your timers for 12 rounds if you are doing 50/10.

    we miss a lot having lisa around on a daily basis, but the real time videos she is recording on her own, from spain, are also so much better. thanks for listening to us.
    honestly, we all agree It was great to do not have to look at someones butt the entire time.
    what we love about lisa’s “company”, for the workout, is that she knows what and how to say things. how to get through to us. she is so sweet and nice and feels so much like the suportive friend that everybody loves to have around…

    I love seeing another woman in a different stage of her life.  I am 43 years old and loooove body rock.  I have a preteen and teenager, and I wish this was around after I had my children.  The short workout time is fantastic because my life revolves around getting kids to activities and working full time.  People are amazed when I tell them it takes me less than 20 minutes a day!!

    Hey guys, so with a minor set back of a close passing in my family I am back and just completed this workout. I too am a mother of 3 and after watching this video I knew I had to try it to get back in the swing of things. I thoroughly enjoyed this workout and I ESPECIALLY LOVED working out in the “real time” fashion.

    Ok Freddy and Team – this is seriously one of my favorite videos EVER. I love having them workout together, I really like Lish and I’m excited to see her do more and get more comfortable in front of the camera, and I love love love the new style (with the pointers and reps throughout)!!
    I also really appreciate that you’re listening to your community (which you’ve always been good at) and trying to find a balance between sexy and appreciating the body but still being tasteful. I’ve definitely had the “do these workouts, just don’t be shocked at the photos when you first get on the site”  conversation multiple times. You are all awesome, and I love the direction BR is going with new hosts and workouts for more variety! Go team!

    In fairness, Chris has been commenting on Bodyrock TV’s pages for quite some time, and always comes across as pretty genuine to me, so I doubt there’s a ‘false pretence’ in his welcome. Plus, is it really that wrong to have a discreet (I hadn’t noticed it until now) link to an article he wrote, even if it happens to be about another fitness person? People have been sharing details of other fitness people who do HIIT workouts via this website and BRTV’s Facebook pages for years, so I’m sure if it was considered all those things you say by Freddie and co, they would’ve blocked Chris long before now.

    Aside from that, I’d just like to add that having the new host work out alongside Sean is a great idea, as we get to see how other Bodyrockers modify things, and it’s nice to see ‘normal’ folk working out alongside the professionals. Would be good to see this format continue, and it was nice to see some older moves mixing things up, such as the dive bombers.

    I have been super busy with a move…which really sounds like an excuse, but I swear, I’ve been swamped!  I miss you guys…next week I’m getting back into my old routine.  I LOVE the new format!  It’s so clean & well organized, especially with the typed description, timer breakdown, & reps built into the video.  Awesome work!

    First of all, we have the same name!!!! How cool right?! Imani is definitely not a common name to hear!

    Second of all, I do the workouts by themselves usually. If I need an extra challenge, I try adding another rep. Some days, I do feel like a super athlete and will do two workouts in the same evening…that is RARE though! It’s amazing how sore 20 minutes of exercise can make you. The last thing you want is to “do too much” and hurt yourself! But by all means, try it out and figure what is best for YOUR body.

    I am finishing up my hybrid of P90X and P90X2 this week.  I was going to start a 30 day Body Rock challenge for myself on Sunday 7/1.  I decided to give myself a bonus workout today with this one just to see how it would feel.  I will say that in the 12 minutes it was just as intense if not more.  I am completely exhausted after that.

    i really liked this one, Lish is in great shape after 3 children. She looks better than me even (with no children) so it motivates me to push harder. If she can do it with limited time then why can’t i? 

    I’m recovering from a cold and i hurt my knee working out on Monday so I kind of took it easy today on the cardio. I added the hot legs and sexy butt bonus :).

    I enjoyed seeing another mom doing the workout, and I find the real time workouts really inspiring. It’s reassuring to know that everyone struggles, and seeing someone else push through. I used to worry to that I wasn’t bouncing back fast enough in rounds, but now I know that everyone is dragging themselves on to the next exercise haha. Real time also makes things simpler, because you don’t have to memorize how to do the exercises first or even set up a timer!

    I did a Proud Of Me Workout. First, I did a 10 minutes Tank Top Workout of six exercises (used 2 5 pounds DB). I followed with a 3 Yoga Ab Poses for two rounds. I also did 3 more total body poses for 1 minutes each (Downward Facing Dog, Butterfly and the Wheel Pose). I ended with 20 incline treadmill running. I finished up sweaty and happy at the same time.
    Beautiful Weekend for all Bodyrockers!

    This was a nice change, and very inspiring.  But please don’t take the sexy stuff away all together!!! I think that that was what made Bodyrock slightly cooler than other websites.

    My workout for today was :
    First, I did #24 for 4 rounds and I followed this with a Knockout Leg Workout (six exercises for one round). I ended up with 10 minutes Skipping rope. It is always good to finish with a total sweat.

    I love the real time workouts! It makes me feel better about getting sore and tired. I mean, you see them get tired, slow down, even pause for a few seconds to get it together. In the edited videos you see them push really hard and go super fast and I think “wow, they can do that for a full 50 seconds?!” In my opinion it’s more inspiring to see them get tired, and be in pain, then just take a long breath and push through that and keep going. Otherwise I would think to myself that if I can’t go all out for a full 50 seconds I can’t do the workout at all. The real time videos make our body rockers look human again!

    Lish you are my hero, you look amazing I can not believe you had kids! I am tall and skinny always have been, but I want to get stronger and more defined. The workout today was awesome. I did one of Lisa’s workouts first then this one so I did modify a bit because I was beat. This exercise set was great! thank you Sean and Lish!

     Do you know where the “Real Time” starts?  It was hard for me to follow the other ones but Real Tim i could do.  I would like to start but i dont know how many they have made and i dont know where to start… Can you or anyone else help me?
