10 Bodily Changes Women Experience in Their 20s
The thing about being in your 20s is that everyone who is 30 and above is always telling you, "hold onto this time, because you'll never look THIS good again."
That kind of comment always rolled off your shoulders when your mother said it to you at 16 years old, now it feels like the end is near, and, rather than enjoy the moment, you're intensely focused on all the things that are about to change. Since it's better to just be in the moment, you can't help but realize that your vampire-like attributes are slowly slipping out of your hands, and just like puberty, you're entering a new phase of bodily changes. Here are 10 to be mindful of.
Have you experienced any of these?

1. Weight gain
Do you feel like each year you gain a little more weight? You're not alone. It's perfectly normal, as your body fat increases in your 20s from your time as a teenager.2. Curves
Notice how those jeans don't quite glide up as well as they used to? That's because metabolic and hormonal changes are changing the way your fat is distributed. You'll find more of it around the hips, thighs and bust.
3. Strong, growing bones
It's important that you continue to exercise often and keep your calcium and vitamin intake consistent, since your 20s are a strengthening stage for your bones.4. Better periods
Say sayonara to unpredictable visits every month and begin to enjoy an actual pattern. This regularity is also accompanied by your peak fertility stage.
5. Intense cramps
As nice as it is to have a saner period, the downside is that your cramps might get increasingly more painful. This is because your body is producing the highest amount of the hormone prostaglandin.6. Adult acne
Because of the change in your hormones, the increase in estrogen and progesterone can result in acne. And since most of us are living in makeup most of the time, we're not allowing our skin to battle that acne like we should.
7. Sexual peak
Those crazy hormones are making you yearn for sexy time like never before.8. Infections
It's not just hormones that are responsible for UTIs, yeast and bacterial infections. These infections, along with STDs are common in women in their twenties due to our lifestyles. Stress, dehydration, poor nutrition and excess alcohol are all to blame.
9. Thin face
That baby fat on your face that you had in your teens diminishes with age, as collagen levels decrease in your 20s. The upside? Hello cheekbones.10. Labia fat loss
You can thank your strong vaginal muscles in your 20s for the loss of fat your labia experiences.
