I’ve finished the 14 Day Diet Challenge and I have to say, it was a great experience. I was really worried about the foods not being palatable or getting old after a while but instead I was blown away with how delicious everything was and that I have incorporated so many of the meals into my daily routine now. My favorites are breakfast...the Pumpkin Spice French toast and the Pumpkin Spice Granola Parfait are to die for. Plus it’s Christmastime...so PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!!! Just kidding. Almost. Days 11-14 turned out to be the same meals...mostly because that’s what I had in the fridge. I did make an extra trip to the grocery store for more bread and greek yogurt...although I have two other people in my home who love both of those so we tend to run out on a regular basis. So here we go: Meal 1: Pumpkin Granola Parfait or French toast, Meal 2: Apple Butternut Squash Soup (yum), Meal 3: Walnut Salad, Meal 4: Tilapia Tacos, Meal 5: Turkey and Brussels Sprouts To be honest I did cheat a little. My mother in law made her famous cookies and I ate a couple before I sent the bag home with my sisters. I also had a glass of wine a couple of nights, but it’s an evening wind-down for my husband and I. I did end up losing almost 5 pounds over the course of the 14 days which was amazing. I lost an inch in my chest and half an inch around my waist and hips. I’m 135 with 21% body fat which means that it takes a lot of work to loose weight at this point. I have felt amazing though. Instead of eating bread and starches all day long I am very conscious about cutting myself off after 3pm. What’s really great is that since I’ve cleaned up my diet I don’t feel nearly as bad about those occasional treats. This lifestyle is sustainable. It’s not a diet. It’s eating the correct diet of foods. Ready to get your diet on track and see those results you want and DESERVE? Click here to get your nutrition guide and get results up to 80% faster!
