14 Signs You're Kinky in the Bedroom

December 04, 2015 2 min read

When it comes to sex, you might see yourself as being slightly if not totally vanilla. But just because your'e not begging to be cuffed and whipped doesn't mean you don't have a little kink in you. There are a variety of ways to tell if you are freakier than you originally thought. Here are some of the biggest indicators. Have you ever done any of the following during a sexual encounter, or perhaps had them done to you? Then chances are you're not all that vanilla!

How to tell if you're kinky in the bedroom.

1. Pulled their hair

2. Slapped or smacked their butt

3. Bitten their neck or other parts of their body

4. Played with a little aggression in between the sheets

5. Used force on them, or perhaps domination

6. Played out a fantasy given a certain scenario or specific role

7. Wrapped your hands around their neck

8. Blindfolded them

9. Physically restrained them

10. Tied them up

11. Performed degrading acts on them

12. Made them perform a humiliating act on you

13. Commanded them to perform sexual acts on you

14. Called them cruel names

Any of these seem familiar? Then you're teetering on the edge of BDSM. What's that you might ask?

Here's a deeper look:

Bondage and Discipline

The "B" and "D" in BDSM focus on using instructions, rules or punishments to control or reward behavior for the purpose of sexual pleasure.

If you hold your partner's hands back, or put them in some hot handcuffs, then you're practicing bondage. As for discipline, if you use whips for physical punishment or psychological punishment, like denying them sex or forbidding them to reach orgasm, you are doing this.

Sadism and Masochism

Two European writers Marquis de Sade and Leopold von Sacher-Masoch coined this term due to their names. They recorded how sexual pleasure could be achieved through both giving as well as receiving pain as a means of sexual expression.  Think of whips, chains, paddles, belts and hot candle wax for instance. Love bites, bruises and welts fall into this category as well. So, if you enjoy rough sex, this style of play might be fun for you.

Domination and Submission

Ever acted out a fantasy where you played either the person in control or the submissive type? Then you are taking part in this style of sexual play. This is known to be the most emotional of BDSM, and some couples who prefer it never even physically touch each other. They may perform this on the phone, Skype or via email for instance.

It's important to remember that both partners should express consent before taking part in BDSM, however.

So, do you play it as safe as you thought, or did you discover something new about you sexual desires?

Shipping & Delivery

Due to COVID-19, shipping systems the world over are experiencing abnormal delays. There is an enormous demand on postal and delivery services as online shopping has skyrocketed, due to store closures and stay-at-home mandates. This is an unprecedented situation, and we are working around the clock to fulfill your orders as quickly as possible. To be clear, we are filling orders in 2-3 days, and we are shipping immediately after that. Once shipped, our shipping partner, UPS, will get your order out to you as quickly as possible. Thanks for your support and understanding.

Are you in Canada? Specifically, are you outside of a metropolitan centre? We need to alert you to a disruption in shipping due to COVID-19. Our preferred shipping provider, UPS, has informed us that they cannot guarantee express shipping for many locations. We have also seen that packages delivered to Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, etc, are not waylaid, but packages delivered to areas just outside of these cities are being held in transit for days or even weeks. UPS has discontinued their guarantee of 1-4 day delivery, which you can read more about here. Therefore, we can guarantee early fulfillment but not early delivery of our goods from our warehouse to your door at this time.

We want you to start your fitness journey with us as quickly as possible, that’s why we send every package to the USA & Canada via expedited or standard shipping with our partners at UPS. Once your order is received and processed, it typically takes 2-4 days to get to you once it leaves our warehouse. That’s our commitment and we stand by it.

We ship within Canada and the United States via UPS with Standard & Expedited shipping (whichever is faster)

For locations outside of the US and Canada, we ship using FedEx International (EUROPE and Other Nations), which is usually in transit for 7-10 business days, depending on location.

We ship all of our physical products with UPS, from our warehouse location in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Delays caused due to custom withholds are not included in these estimated delivery times.

Returns & Exchanges

To request a refund on physical product purchases, please contact us.

Digital Products

We cannot issue refunds on digital goods such as e-books or videos, as these are non-tangible goods that are irrevocable once the order is placed.
