The holidays always remind us to be thankful and embrace the positive things in our life. But we should be doing this all year long. As the new year approaches, we're always overwhelmed with this feeling to embrace "starting new" and make some "real changes" in the year ahead. Well, this year, do it. The best way to reach your long term goals is to set short-term bench marks that are achievable. Nothing inspires large success like small, measurable success along the way. One of the keys to success is attitude. Regardless of your goals, positivity and self-motivation is key. If you put positivity out into the world, it will come back to you.But it's easy to forget this.... Sometimes it takes a child in a suit to remind us that it's not that hard to be kind & it can benefit us in so many ways. I love Kid President. Regardless if he's just a great actor, or if he really stands behind the message he gives out, it's such a great reminder that when you take away all the nonsense and every day bulls**t we seem to be pulled down by, life can be simple. This can be applied to your fitness goals, your nutrition goals, anything. But overall, if you put positivity out in general, it will come back to you in every aspect. So do something nice, even if it's just smiling at someone that looks like they could use it. And see how that effects your mood and productivity for the rest of the day.
