3 Beach Blanket Barre Moves

If you want to do some toning while tanning, then LA FlyBarre instructor Shay Kostabi has the perfect barre moves that you can do from the comfort of your beach towel.  
  1. Plank Pulse
beachbarreplankpulse Start in high plank, shoulders directly over wrists, and core engaged. Lift one leg up, toes pointed, and pulse upwards for 30 seconds, then switch sides.   2. Inner Thigh Pulses beachbarreinnerthigh Lay on one side, core engaged, propped up on your forearm with your shoulder stacked directly over your elbow. Take your top leg and cross it over the bottom, placing your foot in front of your bottom leg. Lift the bottom leg 3-4 inches and pulse upwards for 30 seconds, then switch sides.   3. High V Toe Tap Abs beachbarrehighvtotapabs Sit upright and draw both knees into your chest, extending your toes, creating a V shape with your legs and torso. Make sure you’ve rocked off your sit bones, creating a curve at the base of your spine, and that you are engaging your core. Extend your arms out, palms up, parallel to the ground for balance. Tap the toes of one foot toward the sand, then switch to the other foot. Do 30 reps each side. Of course, you could also just do these moves at home, but I think these exercises are the perfect excuse for a beach trip, and what better way to show off your bikini bod?
