3 Food Habits that Celebrities Share
Here at BodyRock HQ, we've analyzed the diets of over a dozen stars, including Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyoncé, Sakara, Jennifer Aniston, and Kirsten Dunst. Our goal was to discover whether or not there were commonalities between the diets of these stars, and we found that there were! We've listed them below.
INGREDIENTS
Fish, Not Meat
Many of these celebs have dramatically reduced their meat intake over the years. Some stars, such as Beyoncé and Sakara, have gone full vegan for a few months to a few years. Pamela Anderson sums up the prevailing attitude among the stars: "My refrigerator is full of kale and greens. I can't imagine something greasy, or eating meat."Juice, Juice, Juice
This one wasn't a surprise. The number of celebrities who are on full-juice diets was significant, especially if they are training for a role or tour that would lead to lots of nudity or near-nudity. After doing a juice cleanse, I'm motivated to eat healthier and not emotionally. Cleansing is like my meditation. It makes me stop, focus and think about what I'm putting into my body. I'm making a commitment to my health and hitting the reset button. ~ Salma HayekGrains and Seeds
Another commonality was how many stars include chia seeds, pepitas, and grains like quinoa into their diets on a regular basis. Indeed, Angelina Jolie is known for being on an ancient grain diet, and reports say she's become a bit obsessive about it. In any case, we whole-heartedly embrace the trend away from processed and refined wheat such as that found in pasta and bread. If you want to prepare a celebrity meal for yourself tonight, pick up the ingredients in the recipe below! Cooking healthy meals at home is so much easier when you have a guide.
