Hi again, BodyRockers!I hope you are enjoying the challenge as much as I am! Today makes day 10 for us and I had a great time at the gym. We did a few kettlebell exercises along with the usual 30 minutes or so of cardio on the elliptical. As I have stated before, I have been focusing on cardio more during the last few weeks of my pregnancy, but I still like my weights here and there! My diet today was as follows: Breakfast: Egg white, spinach, tomato, onion, mushroom, and cheddar cheese omelet with two slices of turkey bacon on the side. Lunch: Grilled chicken with cauliflower and pumpkin pie mash from the BodyRock diet plan. Loved this! I have never been a fan of cauliflower until now. I decided to roast the cauliflower instead of steaming it, and I added some garlic powder and wow! It was so good. Dinner: Goat cheese apple & walnut salad with chicken from the BodyRock diet plan. Amazing. Love goat cheese! Snacks: Fresh fruit for my mid-morning snack-cut up a fresh pineapple! For my mid-noon snack, Green Chocolate Monkey Smoothie from the BodyRock diet plan. This is also known as the "PMS" blaster (haha) on the plan. It made me feel great!! I was still a little hungry before bedtime so I snacked on some boiled edamame.
