Today is the day we have all been waiting for! Day 1 of the 30 day challenge is here, and it is a doozy! Luckily the video was posted before my children woke up! I loved it! My body on the other hand, did not! The Spider Man Kicks were intense!!!! And it took me a few tries to figure out the co-ordination, but I got it down, and it hurt, in the best way possible. The planks in between each exercise were a nice touch. By the last round I was cursing the rope grabs. The real time video is crucial for me. I find I am more motivated when I can follow along. I also tend to push myself harder either trying to keep up, or go harder. My body was challenged, and worked hard. Above are my before pictures. I am looking forward to seeing my after pictures. My overall goal is to tone and strengthen. These are my body measurements: Height: 5'10" Weight: 150 ish (I don't own a scale, but this was my weight the last time I was on a scale) Left Arm: 10.5" Right Arm: 10.5" Hips: 39.5" Left thigh: 22" Right thigh: 22" Time for me to eat! Today I am carefully watching what I eat. Yesterday I ate something that irritated my body, and I am wheezy as well as a few other uncomfortable symptoms. I am currently on a sugar detox to help with the health issues I have. I may start my day with a soup I made with bone broth, lettuce wraps for lunch, and pulled pork with cauliflower rice and salad for dinner. Exciting right! My meals are going to be on the, hmm.... how can I put this delicately, boring/bland/unexciting/lame side, so if you are in need of some guidance, I highly recommend the 30 Day Nutrition Guide.
