30 Day Challenge: Day 18- Hiit'n it at work
Oh what a busy day at work. The first day of the month means I am stuck on my booty entering payments. People are not made to sit and type on a computer all day. We are created to work with our hands and feet with the wind sweeping across us. I am not a fan of the industrialized world most of the time, we have successfully complicated everything.
My son wanted to spend extra time with his grandparents today so I decided to finish my workout during my break. I love his relationship with my parents. What they weren't able to do for me growing up they have been able to give to him. Being a single parent means that you need all the extra support and positive influences that you can get your hands on. I have been blessed with a wonderful family, extended family and community.
Back to my workout;I took a chair in the back room and knocked it out. Granted I work alone and my job is pretty casual but I could have easily put it off till tomorrow. At some point in my journey I have decided that tomorrow is never an option because it may never come.
Workout thoughts:
- I love split squats because they really target your butt and stretch your hip flexors.
- I turned the knee ins into spider abs
- I really wish I would have used weight because I was averaging 50-100 reps on each exercise
- I did switch the time from 30 secs to 50 sec intervals for a stronger burn
- Lots of lemon water
- Tea because I am still sick
- Flax Seed Oatmeal
- Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake
- Homemade Vegetable soup
- Green Beans, Chicken and some brown rice
