30 Day Challenge: Day 5

  Good morning, BodyRockers! Today was a wonderful day. Here is what my meal plan consisted of: Breakfast: I made BodyRock's flourless protein pancakes from the 30 day challenge guide and added a tbsp of pumpkin puree with a tsp of pumpkin spice into the mix. Mid-morning snack: I had 2 boiled eggs and a handful of almonds. Lunch:  I stuck with the plan and made the Grilled Chicken with Watermelon Salad. My husband absolutely loved this recipe. Thanks BodyRock!! Mid-noon snack: Pumpkin Pie in a Glass smoothie from the BodyRock plan. I absolutely love anything pumpkin! This had a great "pumpkin pie" taste to it-without all of those extra calories. Dinner: For dinner, I made the Steak with Kale & Sweet Potato Chips from the plan and WOW! This was amazing. I have been making sweet potato chips for a while, but these were amazing. The Rosemary paired with the olive oil made a huge difference. For my daily workout, I did a 45 minute interval training session on the treadmill which left me sweating and feeling better than ever. I then did a quick 15 minute Kettlebell workout that included squats, snatches, and swings to end my workout for the day. I had a doctor's appointment today and everything checked out just fine with my son-to-be! He is perfectly content on staying inside of mum's tummy and there are no apparent changes pointing to labor. My due date is in 12 days and I plan on "hiiting" the gym until the day we meet!  Total weight gain is almost 25lbs at this point! I am so excited to be doing this challenge during the last two weeks of my pregnancy because I am anxious to see how fast and well I bounce back!
