Day 7: This morning I woke extremely sore, I may have over done it yesterday. After my Hiit challenge I did my regular workout, 45 minutes of cardio kick boxing and then went to work. After work we had a fun team building activity called Sports Day where we played kickball and then a pretty serious game of ultimate Frisbee. I'm not sure if you have played ultimate Frisbee but it's pretty much like soccer but you can only take three steps and then you must pass the Frisbee. It was non-stop running and I even broke a sweat I was completely into the game. When I woke up this morning my legs and shoulders were super sore. Even though I could feel so many sore muscles I was still ready for day 7. I fueled my body with oatmeal and a green smoothie to take on this workout. I really enjoyed the intro today for day 7; our instructor told us we were 1/4 of the way completed with the challenge. She also told us we should think about what we are grateful for and write down one thing positive every day. I loved this because I'm all about positive thinking and it reminded me to be grateful for everything I have and everything I am. The workout today wasn’t as hard as yesterday's to me, it was nice to have a break since I was so sore. I truly enjoyed jumping rope between each move because it made me feel like an athlete or a boxer. Jumping rope is one of those exercises that never gets old, I can feel it working my whole body as I do it and I love that. The hardest move for me today was "walking push-ups," as soon as I heard "walking push-ups" I was like No, because walking push-ups are always a struggle for me. I have done them in the Insanity and Asylum workout programs and they were always so hard. Even though I had to do walking push-ups I still liked this workout and liked that is involved both strength and cardio. I'm already for day 8; I think it's going to be a tough one.
