30 Day Challenge || Jessica Days 21 & 22: I [Heart] My Sandbag

I opted to do Day 20 without a dip station, but there's no way I skip out on my sandbag when I workout at home.  I love my sandbag, & I'm not being paid to say so.  It is the second piece of equipment I bought for Bodyrock workouts when I started following them a few years ago.  There is something about the sandbag that makes workouts seem tougher and more fun than if I use dumbbells or a kettleball of equivalent weight.

Ok, enough of the sandbag lovefest.  Below is the workout breakdown, and my scores for Day 22. Day 22 What You Need > Timer > Sandbag (mine had ~21lb in it) Workout Breakdown Set your timer for 10 seconds rest & 30 seconds work for 18 rounds (3 rounds of 6 exercises = 18 timer rounds) 1) Over The Shoulder - using the Sandbag  11  - 12 - 13 2) Twist - using the Sandbag  17 - 19 - 19 3) Burpee  9 - 8 - 9 4) Plank Hold & Pull Through - using the Sandbag  12 - 13 - 12 5) Front Hold Lunge Left Leg - using the Sandbag  11 - 11 - 10 6) Front Hold Lunge Right Leg - using the Sandbag  10 - 11 - 11 I followed this with 20 minutes of interval skipping (5 sets of Tabata intervals. 1 Tabata interval = 4 min 10 sec rest 20 sec work, 8 rounds on timer). Day 21 was dance & yoga. For the same reasons as last week, I did not do these routines: I can't stream video where I workout on my lunch break.  By the time I was done with the evening baby/dinner/prep for tomorrow routine, I didn't have patience to learn a dance.  I opted to do a body-weight workout I shared a few weeks ago, which you can find at the end of this post.
