Today's log is for day 16 and 17. Day 16 was a rest day, and boy did I ever rest! I've been slacking on my food and I know it. See below for what I did to kick my own butt back into gear.
The workout
Today's workout was a killer... I was literally dripping sweat! I also noticed that Melissa and I were matchy matchy with our workout gear... Something about pink and grey... it's a good combo to drip sweat in.
Modifications
No modifications needed today! Again!
Food log Day 16
Tonight I went back through my daily logs and made a spreadsheet so I could see just how many days I've had a meal that wasn't cooked at home. This spreadsheet was an eye opener. The past seven days I've had one meal each day that wasn't homemade. Whoa! Time to get it together!
Breakfast
Coffee with a tablespoon of grass-fed gelatin and a splash of Bailey's (it reminds me of my honeymoon).
Lunch
Homemade Thai coconut soup (Tom Kha Gai) This recipe is unbelievably easy to make, and I had most of the ingredients on hand. Check out the recipe page to see just how good this easy to make soup is for you.
Snack
Raisins and an apple
Dinner
Pizza
Food log Day 17
Today I'm doing better food wise. I've recommitted to eating better.

Coffee with a table spoon of grass-fed gelatin.
Lunch
Kale that converts salad and a pickle
Dinner
Homemade Thai coconut soup (Tom Kha Gai) (seriously… you
have to try this soup!)
