I'm so glad today was a rest day! I was up WAY past my bedtime last night (by like 4 hours) because I had to pick my husband up from the airport. Knowing that it would be a rest day I set my alarm for 5:30am instead of my usual 4:30am. I still woke up before my alarm... but only by two minutes.... it's a gift really lol. Since my husband has been gone all week, I decided that we would go out to dinner tonight to one of our favorite Okinawan restaurants... you know it's authentic when you're the only English speakers in the joint. Since it's a place we've been before, I knew I would be able to get the oxtail soup and sashimi to stick to my eating plan. And since I had a huge kale salad for lunch, I've already gotten in a good amount of my veggies for the day. While my husband was away, he visited his grandma and grandpa. If you remember from one of my previous posts, his grandmother is known for her homemade cookies. So, I'm going to give myself a bit of a break tonight and have a couple... they're so worth it! I don't have a progress picture for you today because I ran out of time, but we're going to the beach tomorrow, maybe I'll take one there :) In the mean time, here are my numbers as of today.
