4 Reasons You Hit the Gym Other Than for Working Out

You go to the gym to sweat it out, work hard and get or maintain that body you deserve. But, there are a lot of other reasons you may be going to the gym that you may never own up to. Here are 8 you may be guilty of, but there's no shame in it! gym 1. Free Child Care Well, maybe not free, but certainly not additional! Why can't you be a parent and be fit, too?! Plus, it's a great way to truly escape, while still knowing your offspring are being properly taken care of. And so what if you decided to simply sit in the sauna for an hour? You can't go hard every day. 2. You’re Out of Clean Towels (And Various Other Toiletries) The gym's locker room can be pretty wonderful. A clean atmosphere, hot water, an endless stack of freshly cleaned towels, and toiletries galore. Perhaps that needed trip to Rite Aid can wait just one more day... 3.  You Kind of Miss Cable Cable was so last year. That's why you ditched the unnecessary bill it was providing your home and opted for Netflix instead. But every now and then, you have flashbacks of flipping through the channels of various talk shows and strange infomercials. You head to the gym, hop on a bike, plug in your ear buds and prepare to distract yourself from the effects leg day had on you with a good controversial reality TV show. 4. You Just Want a Smoothie It's snack time and you're in dire need of that Green Machine Power Shake. So what if you're the only person in line sporting a skirt and heels? There was no fine print when you signed up for your membership that said smoothie while sweating! Are you guilty of any of these?
