5 Normal But Embarrassing Things That Can Happen During Sex

If you've gotten your freak on chances are that you've also had at least one or two of these ultra embarrassing things happen. Don't worry, we've all been there :) Whether you’ve had one sexual partner or so many you’ve lost track over the years, the ins and outs of intercourse are pretty easy to wrap your head around. You know what parts go where, what you like, and what you don’t. But no matter how advanced your skill set between the sheets, there are still things that occur that may make you raise an eyebrow. That's precisely why we’ve rounded up some of the most common (yet still bizarre) things that happen to your body while getting busy. 1. You release air from down there (best known as the Pussy Fart) We've all been there. You are in the middle of scorchingly hot sex and something that sounds like a wet fart escapes from your lady parts. It's enough to turn you beet red with embarrassment or loose a fit of giggles. No need to get stressed tho, its just the result of pockets of trapped air inside the vagina. It's perfectly normal and quite common, and although perhaps not exactly the most romantic noise in the world, its nothing to get anxious over. 2. You release a lot of fluids Also known as 'squirting' or 'female ejaculation' (I think I prefer the former term) both are completely normal side effects of having sex and shouldn't cause you to worry. Female ejaculation is a whitish fluid that releases just before orgasm - making it different than the lubrication that is produced when you are just turned on. In either case it's A-OK normal and high-five for reaching your climax! 3. You fall into a post-sex sleep coma As soon as you get off your body is literally flooded with chemicals that foster stress relief, relaxation and you guessed it - sleep. If you can't immediately start up for round two, its because you just got steeped in the all time best relaxation chemicals ever invented :) Enjoy the recovery time with some cuddles (your partner or your pillow if you are alone) nothing to feel embarrassed about here! 4. You get Urinary Tract Infections. Ouch.  UTI's after sex are incredibly common for women and nothing at all to be ashamed or anxious about. Never ever go from anal intercourse to vaginal intercourse without washing first, and always pee before and after sex to help wash away bacteria, and stay hydrated to help your Urinary Tract stay free of bacteria. 5. It hurts while getting it on.  New research has shown that approximately 30% of women experience some form of pain during vaginal intercourse. This pain could be the result of not being wet or lubricated enough before sex or from a thrust heavy session. If the pain is not from a health issue, the fix is pretty easy - change positions, take a water break or use more lubricant. What won't help you is to be anxious or embarrassed. Talk to your partner and make your sex life work for both of you. H/T: Shape.com
