1. They're masculine.

But actually! Research shows 54 percent of women prefer a masculine man with facial hair over a guy who's clean shaven. (And since women are always right, thats the majority vote! We couldn't possibly be wrong, could we?)

2. They're smart.

Find intellectuals sexy? Chances are they're hairy under those clothes. Multiple studies show that body hair is connected to intelligence. In fact, another study found that the majority of members in Mensa — the largest IQ society in the world — also some serious body fuzz.

3. They're hilarious.

Jason Mantzoukas, Will Ferrell, Seth Rogen and Zach Galifianakis have two things in common: They're hilarious and they're hairy. Alright alright, so it's NOT science. I don't care. I'm sticking to it. It's celebrity science! Aha!

4. They're into good causes.

Ever heard of "Movember?" Well where would we be without our moustache-growing-champions-of-prostate-awareness-good-deed-doers? Exactly. I mean, moustache straws are cute for girls but not so much on dudes. Also, a man who brings awareness to great causes is DEFINITELY marriage material. Just sayin'

5. They're secure with themselves.
