5 Reasons To Love Jamie Oliver's YouTube Channel

https://www.youtube.com/user/JamieOliver I've always loved to cook, ever since I was in my teens. Being in the kitchen is a therapy of sorts, as I can be as creative as I want and end up with something I think is delicious. Finding good recipes has always been boring, what with the Joy of Cooking and all the other cookbooks floating around my mom's kitchen. Then the internet came around, and YouTube became the place for new recipes. Of all of the channels I've watched, none of them were as much fun to watch or as educational as the Jamie Oliver channel. 1. His accent. I love the British accent, and the words he uses.
  2. It's a great drinking game. Chug every time he uses lemon, olive oil, salt, pepper, or says something like "fabulous", and you're in for a treat.
  3. His recipes are delicious. Some of my best meals have come from his recipes.
  4. Everything is natural. He's one of the foremost proponents of organic, all-natural foods, and his recipes are that rustic delight that are a true pleasure.
  5. The recipes are quick and easy. With his 5, 10, 15, and 30-minute meals, it's always easy to whip up a feast in a hurry.
The production quality of the videos are top notch, but they still have that "at home" feel that makes him one of the best cooks to learn from. The videos are funny, enjoyable, and filled with tips and tricks amateur chefs like me love. All in all, he's the one I look to when I need advice on a new recipe.   Featured image source: hospitalityandcateringnews.com
