5 Weird Little Things All Long Term Couples Do

Most people who have been together for a long time are comfortable enough with one another to really let loose and the results can be a little more than odd. Here is a list of 5 things almost every long term couple does. Are you guilty? See how many sound just like you and your love. 1. You text each other from the other room because you’re too lazy to get up. Is there any iced tea left? You haven't the foggiest of ideas but you will once you send a text to your boyfriend in the kitchen. 2. You forget each other’s first names. You call him "lovey" so when someone asks after "John" it takes you a moment to figure out who they mean. Using cutesy nicknames over and over makes them real. They are even better when they are too strange to even tell your friends. 3. You groom each other. You no longer need to spend hours getting prepped for a date. If you do need some extra primping, you've got a hand. You help him shave his neck, he puts sunscreen on your back. Mild examples, we know it gets much grosser than that... 4. You go to the bathroom with the door open. You can hear a loud stream of liquid hitting the water and you know if you look down the hall, you will see your partner standing there, door ajar. Some couples will even go number 2 while their significant other is at the sink brushing their teeth. 5. You shower together -- and not to have sex. You know you're comfortable when you've hit this stage. It isn't about soapy sexy time but is about saving time and water.
