53 Pounds In 4 Months: One BodyRocker's Inspiring Story

Have you ever watched our videos and thought, "No way can I ever do that?" Have you ever looked at our models and hosts and thought, "I can never get in that kind of shape?" Well, one BodyRocker is here to tell you that it is possible. She made the decision to change her life and went from a size 20 to 'closing in on' a size 8 in 4 months! Here's what she has to say: "My journey began January 25th of this year. I started out at 220lbs, as you can see here in this photo grid on the left. I was a size 20. I am now 167lbs just 4 months later and I'm a closing in on a size 8! (I'm 5'9".) I completely changed everything. I stopped drinking alcohol, quit smoking, quit drinking soda, and quit eating all sugars for a while. I immediately dropped 15 lbs in about 3 weeks. Probably all water weight. The rest is history! I eat foods high in protein, leafy greens, and fruits only in the mornings before my workouts. If I eat any starches it's oatmeal, raw, only when I wake up. Then I use it as fuel for my work out. My workouts consists of 60 minutes of incline walking or at least 30 minutes of jogging every day. I do resistance training 3 times a week. So there's the jist of it. 53lbs in 4 months.
