6 Things Happy and Healthy Couples Don't Do
Having a healthy relationship makes way for a happy relationship. But it's not as simple as being in love. It's about following through with healthy habits daily; being mindful of what works and what doesn't. Tossing out the toxic stuff is important in the longevity of the partnership. With that said, you can bet a truly happy couple never does the following things:
If an issue arises, they know there's no use in dragging an outside source into the vortex. Especially, because they don't know both sides, or the ins and outs of the entire situation, making them likely to provide negative advice.
Everyone is different, and if a couple begins to compare their happiness, their issues or their habits to that of another's, they're setting themselves up for unrealistic expectations.
It's easy to turn a comfortable environment into a monotonous environment. But a strong and happy relationship knows that laughing, being light-hearted and keeping things exciting are important.
They don't break their partner down, rather, they look for the good. If something about their partner is bothering them, they first evaluate why and then calmly discuss the issue.
It's not the sexiest of conversations, but being on the same page and discussing financial goals regularly ensures that a big blow up doesn't occur.
Communicating is key, no matter how much you think your partner knows you. Spelling things out clearly is a great way to make sure that you get your feelings heard. You can't expect anyone in the world to know what's happening in your head.
Do you agree with these?
