My running shoes are bright yellow and purple and they look so cheery that I actually smile when I see them. My new running shorts hug my leg in such a way as I feel my quads with every step and I have to admit, it feels pretty damn great. Those feelings are what gets me out there.
3. Take Advantage Of The Other Amenities
If you have a gym membership and your gym has a sauna, pool or hot tub, why aren't you there ALL THE TIME? Even if you are having a rest or feeling sick, popping in for a dip in the pool or a soak in the hot tub helps you keep your routine going. Habits aren't always bad things....
4. Turn It Into A Social Event
The thought of working out become so much more appealing when you throw in a buddy. Have a giggle while you break a sweat and then treat yourselves to a healthy lunch and gab session. Sounds perfect, really.
5. Do It For The 'Gram
Vanity isn't always a bad thing. If you need a little boost, add a gym selfie to your Instagram grid. Most people are already doing it, why shouldn't you? Besides, have you ever notice how much extra support you get when you do it?
6. Bust The Stress
If you've had a bad day at work, a fight with your partner or are just feeling generally stressed and anxious, freeing that energy through working out is beyond helpful. Nail that punching bag like you mean it!
7. Get Some Alone Time
